The front of the best classic breakfast and smoothie spot

This place is my go to when I am home. I get the Ham egg & cheese on sesame but they have various breakfast sandwiches. I also love getting a strawberry banana smoothie and they always treat their customers so well. This spot is cash only and so worth it. The food stays hot for up to 45 min in the tin foil!! Just a gem location, everyone should go support them.

Definitely coming back! A great selection of breakfast sandwiches, fresh bagels and donuts. Coffee too! What a great local place to have as an option! Friendly service A+

Really great place for a breakfast sandwich! Everything is made fresh to order and they wrap it in foil so it stays warm until you get to your destination! The two owners are super friendly too. If you order sandwiches be prepared to wait a little bit because as mentioned everything is made fresh for the sandwich! Also, the blueberry muffins are really good!!! Will try a donut next time!

I didn't start going here until last year and I'd go twice a week because it was great! Its delicious!!! Thick bagels, good iced coffee, donuts, and smoothies. Everything is so fresh. Mom and pop breakfast shop and that's what I love. Charlie and his friend are great and so sweet! They memorized my order and I'm sure I'm not the only one they've memorized. They only accept cash but if you don't have any they'll just say to pay next time! So so nice and delicious

I thought the donuts taste stale and dry! The girls behind the counter suggested the old donuts!

No frills in and out breakfast spot. Solid BEC sandwich. Not sure they are baking food there directly, but solid enough.

As for food: -- Cranberry Orange Scone: Superb. Slightly sweet, a little biscuity, with good moistness and understated glaze that lets the base shine. Sometimes warm. -- Chocolate Croissant: I doubt this is made in house. Flaky, yes, but something's off. Seems like a prefab product from the freezer section. You can do much better than this. -- Rugelach: Very rich with potent Nutella flavor. A little greasy, but in a good way. Small but packs a flavor wallop. -- Cinnamon Bun: Decent. Nice moist glaze and a somewhat dry winding dough. -- Brioche Bun: A small round braided number similar to a pain swisse but also a Scandinavian bun, with custard and chocolate chips. Innovative, but dry and rubbery. Good coffee and good atmosphere, but a mixed bag on the morning treats, with some hits and misses. Order what works for you and you should be happy, especially when comparing against similar places in the immediate area or distant 'burbs. Just don't expect Boston quality and you'll be fine.

And I also have the old fashioned. It was delicious. They made it with hard grapefruit seltzer that they brew themselves. It is very refreshing. I also tried the seasonal latte flight, a cider donut and the banana brûlée latte. I was very pleased with the peppermint mocha. It was minty but not overly so. The gingerbread latte was the best flavor. The cookie butter latte was good. And the vanilla cardamom was my least favorite. I would have liked more of the cardamom flavor. I like that you can try all the seasonal flavors but I would like it better if it was customizable instead of being preset. The service is pretty good. I think you can open a tab or you pay each time you order. There is no waitressing, so they call you up to the bar to get your order and you bring back your dishes to a corner of the counter. The bar/beer side was pretty slow service. I waited for a while to place my order but once I placed my order it wasn't too long before I received my drink.

The star of the show is the sandwich selection, all on a choice of focaccia or seeded roll, with many including stracciatella, a thick, white, creamy, Buratta-like cheese. Almost every item in the store-- from meats to cheeses to drinks to candies and snacks-- is imported from Italy and you can taste the difference. This ain't your daddy's Boar's Head. -- Tutto: Tried on focaccia, with Mortadella, Soppressata, Capicola, Prosciutto, Provolone, Stracciatella Cheese, Tomatoes, Onions, Pickles, Hot Cherry Peppers, and Garden Greens. Very creamy cheese, almost mayoey in texture. It took some adjustment on my first try, but I got used to it quickly. Strong flavors overall. Very enjoyable. -- Matto: Tried (on two different visits) on a grilled seeded roll, this packed Prosciutto, Soppressata, Sharp Provolone, and Hot Cherry Peppers. Bold flavors from the coldcuts, sharp cheese, and perfectly toasted bread, all in the right proportions to enjoy every flavor and texture. This was spectacular and will be a repeat sandwich for many visits to come. Excellent sandwiches. Nice people. Easy ordering via Toast (they don't have a website). Limited hours-- weekday lunches only-- and hard to spot, but in the same parking lot as the convenience store. I'm not an authority on Italian sandwiches but I've had my fair share from the "name" places in and around Boston, and this unknown gem from the outer suburbs ranks right up there with them. Some may argue they charge Boston prices, but for Boston quality without the Boston hassle, well worth it. Solidly in my lunch rotation.
