Always looking for a good bagel and my buddy had been telling me about this place. It was delicious. I will definitely be back!

Service was friendly. Bagels were fresh and had a nice mix of crunchy outside and soft inside. We tried a more savory option of onion bagel with the shallot cream cheese. It was just enough without being too much on the onion. The portion of cream cheese was generous. Then we did a plain bagel split - half with the brown butter honey and half with strawberry cream cheese. Both were fantastic, but I will say the servings of cream cheese seemed less than the bagel with a single flavor (it was enough but the up charge felt a bit much). The coffee was standard, decent but not out of this world. Inside is standing room only and there's just a couple tables outside. Fortunately we beat the rush and got a table. We do plan to return. We were told the menu changes up every few months so we want to try more things.

I am SO happy to have a bagelfeld's location in Tempe! This one is a lot bigger than the original location and while there's still no real seating, there are a few bars you can stand around and eat at. I got a sun dried tomato bagel with lemon herb cream cheese and it was great. My friend got the everything bagel with honey brown butter cream cheese. I tried it and it was incredible, I hadn't combo'd those two before and definitely will get it next time! The bagels here are the perfect consistency - not too chewy - and the large portion of flavorful cream cheese is the best complement to them. Service was fast. They're currently operating with limited hours and menu, but plan to eventually expand both which will be nice. Bagelfeld's remains my favorite bagel shop so I strongly recommend coming here!

I'm sooo happy that Bagelfeld opened another store in Tempe! Now I don't need to drive all the way up to Phoenix. This store is so cozy and cute, and I feel like somewhat more spacious than the one in Phoenix. We had a plain bagel with veggie? cream cheese and salmon cream cheese, they both were sooo good. Especially I loved salmon, it's not as salty as other salmon cream cheese and was just so good!

Pumped to have a Bagelfeld's closer to me in Tempe now! This newly opened location is just as yummy as the original. If you've never been to Bagelfeld's before, think fresh, doughy bagels with generous portions of delicious, uniquely flavored cream cheeses. I love how they offer the half + half cream cheese option if you're torn like me and want to try two flavors. Such a unique offering and I'm so here for it! The cashier was friendly and one thing I noticed was that he was seated before we walked up to the counter. He stood up as soon as we approached to order. But I love seeing the Right to Sit implemented locally! When sitting does not interfere with employee duties, it's so nice when businesses allow workers to sit and reduce fatigue. Such an important basic human right for employees! The store itself had a retail table, lots of live plants, and an area for the line that probably forms on Saturday mornings. I came on a late Friday morning and it was pretty empty, which I wasn't mad about at all. Grateful this new location is open and to have easy access to fresh, delicious bagels!

Great option when you're starving in the morning. They load up your bagel with so much cream cheese and the cream cheese is so delicious. I got a blueberry bagel and honey brown butter cream cheese. They were sold out of some flavors and it was only 10 so be aware. It was delicious! Crispy outside and chewy soft inside. The service was quick and friendly as well. Not a ton of seating but it's a great grab and go type of place.

01/30/2026 Bagelfeld's had been on my list for a long time, but I just couldn't get myself to drive to Phoenix for it. As soon as I found out they opened a second location in Tempe, I was planning what day to go. They open at 6AM Tuesday-Saturday. I got there on a Friday around 7:45AM. There was no line, and just one other customer waiting for his order. The refrigerated case had a bunch of cream cheese options. There were a couple of cookie options on the counter. For bagels, I got blueberry, jalapeño cheddar, and everything. I also got the jalapeño popper cream cheese. Brought them home and immediately tried blueberry because it's one of my favorite bagel flavors. Unfortunately, I did not like it as much as I'd hoped because of the sugar coating. It was too sweet for me, and the sugar hardened on the exterior making it tougher to chew. I ended up cutting all of the bagels in half and freezing them. I reheated the savory bagels in a toaster and made a sandwich using the jalapeño popper cream cheese. WOW - I loved that cream cheese! I don't think they have this flavor all the time, so I highly recommend getting it if you see it! The everything bagel was good, but the best of the three I got was the jalapeño cheddar bagel.

I'm a die hard Bagelfeld's gal. When I recently moved, I was devastated that I wasn't going to be close to a Bagelfeld'a location u til I learned their new location in Tempe would be in walking distance. This new location is large and has searing inside and outside, along with plenty of parking. I live how spacious and clean this location is, its constantly filled with people. My go to is still the everything bagel with salmon lox, it's absolutely divine. Shout out to the staff, I always love interacting with them and they are so warm and friendly.

I've been wanting to try Bagelfelds for a long time and was super excited to learn they opened a new location in Tempe! I ordered the salt bagel with honey brown butter cream cheese and I will be dreaming about it for the foreseeable future.

You're not going to find a better bagel anywhere. Definitely not a chain shop bagel. No conveyer belts here. Everything is made fresh at both of their locations, not baked somewhere else and delivered. So head over to one of their 2 locations. Oh, and add a smear and you'll be in heaven.

I'm shocked this place doesn't have a higher overall rating -- its so good!…read more I don't get bagels often because I hate a disappointing bagel, but after having these at a neighbor's house I knew I had found a source of truly great bagels. I stopped by and got an everything bagel and a cheddar green chili bagel, along with some jalapeño cream cheese. Both bagels were fresh, warm, and the perfect amount of chewy and soft. Both were good but the everything bagel is the winner. Their everything bagel blend is so flavorful!! Now I get why I saw it packaged for sale as a seasoning mix. I like the jalapeño cream cheese but I think their scallion cream cheese is even better. You can get bagels as is, with cream cheese or butter etc and then they have breakfast and lunch sandwiches. I'll definitely need to try one of the lunch sandwiches soon! They're in the plaza off Southern, just west of Sprouts, with plenty of parking. Open until 1 or until sold out.

The prospect of treating myself to a traditional cream cheese and lox bagel had me pretty excited,…read moreand so I looked this place up and realized it was in a familiar shopping center. It's the NW corner of McClintock & Sothern, which is where I go to shop at Sprouts or get my car wash at Clean Freak. Location aside, I was pretty disappointed with the bagel. One negative was the price. It cost $8 for the straightforward bagel plus cream cheese with a slice of lox, but if you stepped it up to include capers and onions it would run you $16! I opted for the $8 tier, threw in a $1 tip, got it to go, and dressed it up with capers and onions at home. It was barely flavorful. This was the cheddar jalapeño bagel, and I could barely taste it. The texture was wrong too. Not dense, no real chew, and no glossy exterior. Was this a bun with hole in the middle disguised as a bagel? In addition, the cream cheese was as dull as could be and the lox did not taste fresh or even very lox-like. I only ate half the bagel and threw the rest away. I'm adding an extra star for charm and decor, but I mostly judge a place by its food and not necessarily its aesthetic. Maybe I caught them on an off-day because it seemed pretty popular as it was somewhat busy. I just feel like a Jedi mind-trick was played on me because these were not the bagels I was looking for.

The New Yorker was packed with tender, flavorful corned beef, and the marble rye paired perfectly with the melted provolone. The Fireman was just as impressive--the lox was fresh, the scallion cream cheese added the perfect amount of flavor, and the everything bagel had a great balance of crunch on the outside and chewiness on the inside. There was a long line and a bit of a wait but it was completely worth it. I can definitely see why this place is so popular, and I'll be back to try more of the menu.

They serve great New York style bagels and sandwiches. We came on a Saturday (4th of July, in fact) around 11 am and I was expecting the line to be out the door. To our surprise, there wasn't much of a line! It was fairly crowded inside with people waiting for their orders, but once we ordered we only waited about 10-15 min. I love lox bagels, so I opted for The Fireman and ordered it open faced. It was absolutely delicious. The bagel sandwich had a good amount of salmon and was very filling. We also tried the New Yorker, which was a pastrami sandwich and it was delicious and packed with meat! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the search for a new bagel/sandwich place.

From the moment we stepped up to order, service was very nice! I didn't catch the name of the girl who took our order or the one who gave us our food, but everyone was smiley and kind. I ordered the onion bagel with chive cream cheese, bacon, and a vanilla iced latte. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich with the cheddar jalapeno bagel, pepperjack cheese, and jalapeno cream cheese. We devoured everything! The bagels were so perfectly toasted and the flavor of everything was so good. The side of bacon I ordered was really crispy which is exactly how I like it! The bagel itself was large, but the cream cheese didn't resemble anything I've had before -- the texture and taste were off to the point we ended up scraping it off and tossing it.
