Has some cool dishes etc. at reasonable prices. Had to go thru 3 staff to find the item we were looking for. Not excessively welcoming.

    Do they sell halal makeup?

Probably! They had a lot counter space that I didn't look at, but they had many different products in the store.

I haven't heard of this store so I decided to look and I was pleasantly surprised. Aroma of a…read morecoffee shop was evident. Complimentary coffee was delicious. They specialize in gourmet kitchen items, popcorn and candy. All coffee is bulk bean but they will grind as well Flavored and unflavored is their specialty and they sell by the pound and or pre packaged. Popcorn store is located in its own section which offers samples of both. Linda was very helpful and knowledgeable of the fudge and popcorn. Fudge sample was a banana cheesecake and a sherbet that was delicious, popcorn samples were cheesecake as well and spicy popcorn x3. This area smelled popcorn fresh. Pricey but sales were available in bundle. This is the only location . Rewards program is available . Great inventory .

They have a wide variety of fresh ground coffees (by the pound so you can try several before committing), numerous oil and vinegar options, a tasting bar featuring specialty items to sample, assortment of candies by the pound, homemade fudge, and a plethora of fresh made popcorns. I was waited on by a young man named Charles, who was one of the friendly sales associates that I have encountered in a long time. He was very helpful and patient. He represented the shop well.

Wrong. There were two simultaneous pasta classes going. Our group seemed to have no clear direction. There were two pasta rollers and each kept malfunctioning with the handles falling off. It was at this point one couple left. It only went downhill from there. My sister kept saying we should just leave but I wanted to learn how to make pasta! And I paid a lot for this class so i was going to learn! But I did not. The revolt began and people just began cooking on their own (which in the end turned out quite well!!) just so we could eat at some point. We could hear the other class drinking wine and sitting down to eat, and our lasagna wasn't even in the oven yet. Another ominous sign. Our chef was very kind but it was clear he was not ready for this. It was my second and last visit to the KC, I walked away with no additional skills. Waste of 3.5 hours (though the class was scheduled for only 2.5) and 65 bucks.

The class wasn't exactly a cooking class but the chef gave us recipes and further demonstration when questions came up. Every dish was delicious. The store part of the place has pot, pans, kitchen gadgets, and some gourmet food items. I'm giving it a 4 because their items are on the pricier side.
