When you first walk in, there's no service and the place looked so dirty i was almost going to immediately walk out. Then a man walked in with the dirtiest hands and asked if we ordered. Turns out they didn't have what we originally ordered after we already paid so they switched up the meats and attempted to calculate the difference. We waited for about 20minutes for the food and from the floors to the counter tops to just everything in site, it looked like this place hasn't had a good cleaning in years. We took it to go because we didn't want to stay there any longer. Another server joked that food is worth the wait and if we didn't like it, there was something wrong with us not the food. Ok.... The food itself was medicore and a bit dry for my liking. Don't think I would return here.

I love coming to baghlan kebab. Afroman is very hospitable and his tandoori sandwiches are next to none. Great food and great prices!

We came here after seeing it recommended on social media, especially for their lamb shank -- so of course, that's what we ordered. The portion was huge, so we shared one lamb shank between the two of us. The meat was tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious -- we ate every last bite. The serving was so big that we were completely stuffed by the end. We're definitely planning to come back here, but next time we'll be prepared to share dishes because the portions are just that generous. I'd highly recommend this place if you want to try some tasty and spicy food in Toronto.

I had the Lamb Chops Gold Combo and the portions were enormous and so delicious. Four succulent pieces of grilled lamb chops. My friend is a vegetarian so he had the Paneer Tikki Gold Combo. Four chunks of cheese with grilled vegetables. All Gold Combos come with rice, salad, lentil soup and fresh baked naan from the tandoor. Everything was so colourful and delicious. The naan was so huge! We came around 1pm on a Friday and it wasn't busy. Very spacious and lots of tables to choose from. The customer service at the counter was excellent and so appreciated. Big thanks to Wasim who always gave us a happy smile with our meals! I'm eager to return and introduce Kabul Express to more of my friends. Highly recommend!

Good catch. Shish kebab isn't necessarily chicken. Here's the corrected version:…read more Quite possibly the best meal I've had in Toronto so far. Kabob Guys is an Afghan grill on the corner of Richmond and Spadina, and it's exactly the kind of place I love discovering. The restaurant has a casual, welcoming feel with communal seating and a few two-top tables. While there were only a handful of people dining in, they were doing a brisk takeout business, and it was easy to see why. From the moment I walked in, everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. I ordered the chicken tandoori and the shish kebab with their flavorful garam rice, and everything was outstanding. Both kebabs were tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The garam rice was aromatic, fluffy, and packed with flavor. Everything arrived fresh, hot, and made to order, with just the right amount of spice to enhance the food without overpowering it. One thing I especially appreciated was finding a meal that felt fresh and wholesome. Sometimes it seems like every chicken place serves something fried or overly heavy, so this was exactly what I was looking for. The restaurant was spotless, the service was excellent, and the downtown location makes it an easy stop whether you're grabbing takeout or sitting down for a meal. This was easily my favorite meal in Toronto so far, and I'll definitely be back. If you're looking for authentic Afghan cuisine that's fresh, flavorful, and served with genuine hospitality, Kabob Guys is absolutely worth a visit. (If the shish kebab was lamb or beef, I can make the description even more specific.)

The staff was courteous as I placed a takeout order for Paneer Wrap and Fries. They forgot to put in fries! But the paneer wrap was good. It came with 2 sauces, which I felt were overly salty, but overall good flavour.
