    Dipping NK MIX PLATTER

This Kabob restaurant offers both dining and delivery options. They have a table service option, and the combination Manu is a great choice for a meal. The food here is delicious, and I particularly enjoy the sauce they provide on the table. The service is also excellent.

We had dinner at Naan and Kabob in Toronto and had a great meal. The restaurant is clean and spacious-- there is a lot of seating options available. You order at the front counter, but they will bring the food to your table. The service is still good though! Table service would have made this place feel more like a formal restaurant. Our server, Kamel, was very sweet and attentive. Kamel checked in on us often and made sure we were well taken care of. This really made our dinner more enjoyable. Thank you, Kamel! The food was authentic, flavorful, and overall delicious. We tried the Eggplant Borani, mantu, doogh (bottled not freshly prepared though), Chicken Qurma Plate, and the NK Mix--everything was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. We highly recommend this restaurant for quality Afghani food and warm service!

They were so accommodating here! The food was good too and love that there's a halal spot in a very central location

Stopped by after a long time to pick up Chicken Koftas with naan and rice. As always, tasty food. However, prices have gone up. Service is friendly. Plenty of seating space.

Have dined at the restaurant a couple of times. Place is well done , bright and clean. Staff are friendly and professional helping with choices if needed. Got take out on this occasion and the food did not disappoint- chicken Kofta kebab dinners were delicious, well portioned and prepared right along with chicken Korma dinner !

Located in a prime area, you can't miss it. The restaurant interior draws you in. We arrived for a late lunch. Inside the walls feature cultural art. It was at that time I noticed it said the Afghan Tea Room on 2nd floor. So you bet, I walked up those stairs to discover a whole area which was a lot more relaxed, lounge style seating. We decided to dine upstairs. The menu features everything from lamb, beef and chicken (whether in the form of a qorma, sandwich or platter. Decided to try Mantu (beef dumplings) & Waziri (chicken and shami kabob) platter. The Mantu was delicious, oozing with flavour! The chicken tandoori was probably the best tandoori I tried, it was grilled to perfection. The shami kabob was average. The kabuli rice was flavourful & the naan was fresh. It's accompanied with garlic sauce and hot sauce. The portion size was decent, we shared the plate and Mantu and had left overs. Wanted to finish the dinner by enjoying a cup of tea. The picture of the tea from the menu was a bit deceiving, I thought I'd be getting tea served in those small cups , possibly steeped. Instead, it was tea bag in a mug. They ran out of sugar, so provided icing sugar instead. Tea was my least favourite, it tasted a little off (the water itself or the tea bag) I definitely recommend the food, the tea not so much. The staff was friendly, the young server kept checking in on us and did his best to answer all our questions.

We stopped in on a Saturday during our visit with a party of 12. We ordered the NK Mix and two Kabob Lover platters to share. Unfortunately, the top floor (tea room) was closed, so they joined tables on the first floor to seat us. I wish we had been seated upstairs, as it's much nicer. We had to place our order at the register, and the cashier added a tip before handing me the tablet for payment. I'm not sure why a tip was added since we had to get up to ask for water, plates, and to pack our leftovers. Despite this, the food was amazing and worth the visit.

I rarely walk away from restaurants thinking anything else than "nice! really happy I tried that" ... I don't know what it is. The kabob was kind of dry, as was the naan, and the rice with raisins wasn't bad but I quickly tired of it. (You definitely get value for money - portion sizes are very generous.) The decor was very cozy and upscale (but then this clashed a bit with the branded yogurt bottles that suggested a chain).

Ramadan Special with lamb, beef, chicken, and TONS of rice

Great place for families and getting together with friends! We got their Ramadan special and it came in a HUGE portion! About 4 servings of each item, on top of a heaping amount of rice. Service is kinda meh, and water was dirty. Tea house seating upstairs was intimate and quiet, perfect for conversing!

My husband and I stopped by here for late dinner (~8:30pm) on a Sunday day evening, and we were impressed by the ambience, food, and service! This was our first time trying Afghan food. The menu has plenty of pictures, which was very helpful in determining what to order. We started with a bolanee (flat bread stuffed with seasoned potatoes), followed by chicken qurma plate, chicken wrap, doogh drink, and a firni dessert. All of the food was fresh and healthy. We underestimated how full we would be and asked for our dessert to-go. Our server was accommodating, and brought us plastic utensils for our dessert. Overall, this was a great experience, and we would recommend this place to anyone who would like to try Afghan food!

It's hard traveling / dining out with a 1 year old, so we ordered take-out while staying at a nearby hotel. Large portions and reasonable pricing. Ordered a Tandoori chicken kabob and also a combination with beef kabob. Both were excellent with a very generous portion of rice. The take out portion of the salad was a bit on the small size, but fresh and delicious. I also ordered the FIrni dessert, which had the perfect consistency (not too soft, not too hard) and also had the right amount of sweetness (not too much). Would order from here again!

A wonderful place of kind people who made me feel so welcome to Toronto in the brief interaction we exchanged while I picked up my food.. I enjoyed every bite of my order bolanee, mantu, and baklava. Thank you

I am glad we came across this restaurant. It's not a traditional restaurant where you sit down and someone comes and takes your order. You actually order at the counter and then take a seat. The food was delicious! Beware... come with an appetite because the portions are huge!!! We had so much food left over. I was impressed by the art on their wall - absolutely stunning.

This is their second location, in a build with 3 other food vendors. It is mostly a takeout restaurant. There is a small counter where you could stand and eat. There are six set combinations. Or you can build your own pasta (BYOP) combo. On the soft-opening day (2025-01-20), they were offering an opening special of Mac N Cheese with BBQ Chicken sample and a drink for only $6.99. I ordered the following: 1. BYOP: Garlic Shrimp, penne, rose sauce, broccoli, black olives, mushrooms. It automatically comes with sliced green peppers and chopped parsley. 2. Opening Special ($6.99) x 2. For the BYOP, they didn't warn me it was medium spicy. I can handle it with a cold drink! The shrimp and penne were perfectly cooked. I loved the rose sauce. My choices of broccoli,  black olives, and mushrooms worked well together and with the base. The Opening Special was delicious; the Mac n Cheese part and BBQ Chicken were really good! Unfortunately, the BBQ was mildly spicy, and my son didn't like it; more for me! The customer service was good. It took them a long time to prepare the food (there were many orders prior to mine). But it was opening day, so hopefully, they will speed up their cooking. There is no free WiFi. The food stall is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There are no customer washrooms. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-014

Similarly while I would not consider this quite a fusion restaurant, the food was indeed delicious! Most of the rice sides, had furikake sprinkled on top which always enhances the flavor. The sushi selection was good! The top items for me were the cod and lobster/shrimp udon. Again neither were quite executed as fusion (IMO) but nonetheless it was delicious! The steak was also good, but steak is more readily available on most menus elsewhere. The potato and egg salad as an app also made the top list. It was super creamy and paired nicely with the crunchy chips! The endless drink menu/option is also excellent, except I am not sure how much alcohol was actually in there because within the group of 13 people, most of us did not feel even slightly tipsy. The ambiance is beautiful and really embraces a jungle with vibrant colors intertwined into the interior. the bathroom however, is a different story as it is at the end of a very dark hallway. Not sure if they turn the lights on at night, but for someone with poor vision, it was hard to see as the light reflected off the walls. The servers were friendly and with a large group like ours, we did have some dishes that just never made it out so we did need to flag someone down for them about an hour or so in.
