I recently stopped by Baha Auto Sales while searching for my next vehicle, and I had a great experience. I was greeted by Dee, who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and made the whole process feel comfortable without any pressure. The dealership itself was very clean and well-organized, with a wide selection of vehicles that were all in excellent condition. A few that really stood out to me were the Rivian, Kia Telluride, and a beautiful Benz--definitely something for every style, whether you're looking for family, luxury, or sport. The pricing also seemed very reasonable compared to what I've been seeing elsewhere. I'm still doing a bit more research before making my final decision, but this is definitely a place I'll be coming back to. Just purchased a 2021 transit from this dealer about a week ago. They're in Chicago so the test drive is not really a test drive cause you can't go more than 30 mph. So I asked for a little warranty so when I actually get it up to a good speed if anything goes wrong or notice anything they'll take care of it. The finance manager there agreed to a 15 day 500 mile warranty. He stated that if anything goes wrong they'll take care of it. Didn't specify it only covers this or that and also said since I'm so far away just bring it to a mechanic close to me and they'll take care of it. Now they'll claim they didn't say any of this (typical dealer) well come to find out the brakes and rotors weren't work down they were falling apart. Tried to get the dealer to help me out with the repairs cause the cost was $1895. They said oh that's too high for a brake job which I got quotes from 5 different mechanics. This vehicle there's a lot of work that needs to be done to replace the rotors. They said u need to bring it to us which I'm not driving 2 hrs and it wasn't safe to drive that far. Then they said oh it doesn't cover that thats maintenance. Then they said we can partially help blah blah blah. I purchased a car from this dealership a couple days ago. First things first, make sure that you get the car inspected. You'd rather pay a 250$ inspection fee than drown in fixing a car up. Yes, the car was 1-2k under market but for good reason. The car's rims were bent, the tires had four different treads of 9, 6, 5 and 4. The control arm bushings are torn and the rotors are warped. Going to the interior, the leather was repainted...one detail with certified leather cleaning materials and the paints missing. Not to mention the burned steering wheel and the burned window laminant. Not to mention that the car was sold as a Lexus Gs350 Crafted Line when it wasn't, and saying that other places do it doesn't make it right. When I got it inspected, the technician said this "This dealership shouldn't have sold you this car as it's unsafe to drive". Bubbles on the wheels can cause for the wheel to rupture on highway speeds. Selling me an unsafe car has got to be my biggest complaint. Read the reviews of a dealership, some dealerships help you out, this one WONT. They just want your money and deceive you. BE CAREFUL OUT THERE. Drove in from out of state to buy a vehicle. It was clean and ready and waiting for us when arrived. Manager texted us many times to answer questions beforehand and took car to get it aligned for us before we showed up. The dealer was low pressure and gave us a fair trade. I am giving them a 1 start, filed a complaint on BBB and reported them to the OIG, they sold me a car that was in an accident and waited until the last minute to tell me. I didn't really need the car, but since I recently had to sell my vehicle due to a bad trans, I needed to have a car to share with my folks. I work remote and don't really go out a lot and everything is nearby. I regret buying from this place. I found out at a Hyundai dealership that the car had been in an accident before and had transmission damage. When I called and made an appointment to talk to the owner and have my car looked at, with the promise of a rental car, I came in and the owner wasn't even there and I was told a rental car was not gonna happen. I left and promised I'd never go back there. The two men that I dealt while buying the car are dreadful. I'm a single woman and bought this car with my own money. I had read the good reviews and went out on a wing and a prayer and bought a cash car here. I wanted to see if having a car in the city would be too much of a hassle. Hours after getting it off the lot, the check engine light came on. A run to the parts store said it was a sensor. Knowing this was a cash car, I assumed some maintenance would come along. A trip to a good mechanic and over $700 later, the rusted fuel line was replaced. A couple of days after this a transmission/drive train issue began presenting itself, causing the vehicle to smoke from a transmission fluid leak. Seeing the car was becoming a money pit, I opted for a less expensive fix and easy driving. A month and a half after buying this car, it was time to trade it in. Another dealership refused the trade. Apparently, the 'clerical error' as it had been described to me was in fact, an odometer that had been tampered with. On my way to sell the car off to salvage, the transmission officially fell out of the vehicle. I would recommend looking pretty much anywhere else, but has definitely made me seek out dealers who'll stand behind a sale, even an inexpensive one. read more

I've purchased 2 cars from this dealer. Their prices are lower than almost any dealer around. They don't sell salvage cars or cars with big problems, you might need to do some maintenance on their cars once you buy it, but it's all small stuff nothing major. You get what you pay for anyways. but yeah they still have low prices on cars and if you wanna change the car late on with them, they will give you a good price for your car. The transport company gave me a round around where they are at and "car issue" 4 hours away from the delivery point. The car I purchase had 2 coin size dent them. We purchased a vehicle from them in March and the financing included a previous loan. they waited a month and a half to pay that loan and it screwed up my credit and they won't talk to me about it or give me any explanation to what happened. they were very rude on the phone and they have no idea what they're doing. I would never ever buy another vehicle from them again and I'm gonna tell everyone I know about it. This is court case worthy of an issue we are having. it's usually best not to be rude to someone that purchased a vehicle from your business. We are constantly getting the runaround from them and they won't return our calls acting like no one's there. the girl that answers the phone especially was very rude. Previous negative reviews are correct. I got a shady vibe from the moment I walked in. I called to see if they had the car I wanted in stock. They said yes I showed up half an hour later and they said they had just sold it. The car had been online for over a week and they sold it the day I had showed and "just recently" moved it to a different lot. They said they had other cars like it that I could see. For the love of God, AVOID this place at ALL costs! I bought a car from here in June of 2014 and have had nothing but problems with it. I had to change the tires almost immediately ($500), it needed all new wheel bearings ($1700), I have had to get a new battery 4 times in less than 2 years ($800+), the electric in the car is all kinds of messed up and I have found multiple spots with body damage that they tried to cover up. Keep in mind as well, this car is a 2010 Maxima, it's not old! I will admit, it's my fault for not doing my research on this scam of a place and for allowing them to rush me through the process. Their business practices are disgusting and they have no morals. I hope you guys are proud of yourselves for taking a college students life savings for nothing. It's been less than 24 hours since I bought my car and I already regret it. There are dealers that care about their reputation and make sure they give away cars that won't need any work. This dealer is not one of them. I bought a 2012 car which is "within warranty" as the dealer assured me it was. Took it for a test drive; no problems. The next morning right after I pull into a highway, the clutch suddenly slips to the back and gets stuck there. Almost gets me killed. I managed to pull over and see what's wrong. A flimsy rubber that should keep it in place is disengaged. Thankfully the dealership fix it, but the tyres that are about to burst aren't covered, and they cost me $400. People who ever is reading this review, be careful when buying or financing a car from this dealership, most of their cars are either have salvage titles, junk titles or accident with airbag deployment. Please when buying a car from ask them to pull out the car's history report that you're buying either from "Carfax" or "AutoCheck" don't let them print it out ask them to show it immediately on their computer. I'm also surprised at the bad reviews for this place. I went to see a used car that was already reasonably priced & they were willing to negotiate on price & gave me a great interest rate for financing. They were also very friendly & professional. My only complaint is they didn't put much gas in the car & I didn't know how to read the panel (my fault) so I ran out of gas on the way to work the next day. If you're looking for red carpet treatment & a luxury car, probably not the place for you, but IMO driving a car like that in the city is dumb bc it's just going to get the crap beat out of it. This is a scam they sold me a car and 21 miles the engin broke the manager had told me his shop was going to put a part in so I told him i could get the part and then he said he would give me 500.00 off I never thought the part was an engine it cost me 3500 just for an engin plus install I also bought the extended warranty and they denied my claim because the shop that had fixed the car did a bad job the only thing they would do is install the engin I bought but the had done a hack job on trying to fix it the first time so don't buy anything from them the buy crashed cars fix them half as and overcharge and don't stand or help there customers DONT BUY DOBT BUY FROM THEM!!!! I Purchased a 2010 Volkswagen CC 3 years ago. The Carfax that was given to me stated front impact reported a few years back. "no air bags deployed" according to the carfax and the sales man Ray. Ray claimed "Minor bumper repair". After purchasing the car and driving it for a year or so we decided to trade it in for something bigger. That's when we discovered that the car fax provided was false (probably for a different VW CC) and that I was not a minor front impact. The car title was in fact branded and stated Uni-Body damage. and when pulling autocheck, we found out both air bags were deployed!! (Which also means, your stuck with the car and no dealership will accept it as a trade in *True story). Upset with the news, the car transmission decided to fail month later. I went to Ray at Baha, he offered his repair services at a decent price since I still owe money to the bank on the car, so I had to do it. I paid $2400 for a rebuilt used trans with extended warranty. 6 months later, its starts acting up again right before the warranty expires. I had 3 different mechanics tell me they did a horrible job replacing the trans and used existing seals and gaskets instead of replacing them with news ones like a real mechanic would do. I brought the car in 3 times to Baha repair and the continued to say its not the trans its "something else" and finally they admitted they did not replace the rear main seal because it "looked fine" and there is nothing they can do ( at this point warranty had days left ) They gave me back my car so I can get another opinion and the new mechanic said the same, that its the transmission, and they also noticed they did not put on the protective cover for the engine. Baha stated they will replace the cover part (yea right). I called several times, no answer. I called from a different line, they answered and stated they will call me back with an answer. As of today the Warranty has expired and they do not return or answer my calls. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM BAHA! THEY ARE CROOKS!! I WILL BE FILING A CASE WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND CONTACTING GREGORY H MOSS LEMON LAWYER! I tried to give them a chance and they just don't care!! read more

I was looking for a BMW 650i for a while and I found one online at this dealership in chicago..i live in windsor ontario, so that is about 450 km away. the car was listed on the dealership website for sale. i called the dealership and i talked to a salesman called Jesse. i told him i am very interested in the car and willing to drive 5 hours to chicago to see the car. i made arrangement with him to see the car on a saturday afternoon. Wife and I drove down to chicago. we got to the dealership and a salesman by the name mustafa came to help us as jesse was busy. we asked him about the car. he said the car is not there and it is with the owner of the dealership and that he has an appointment somewhere. he called the owner and he told him that he is 2 hours away. we were upset because we had an appointment to see the car and we were suppose to go back the same day home. mustafa took our phone number and told us he would call us when the owner comes back in 2 hours...we went to a shopping center to waist some time. 2 hours passed and no phone call yet...i called the dealership and mustafa said that the owner cant make it back today. we were so upset with the unprofessionalism of this dealer. they knew i am coming from 5 hours away but they didnt care to insure that the car is in the dealership...horrible place to buy a car..we ended up spending $300 to stay one night in chicago because it was already late to come back same day. I dont recommend this dealer to buy a car because they dont value your time and your effort. the whole thing was fishy and it seems like this car never existed from first place but they do that to try to get you to the dealership to sell you other cars. the salesman was showing other cars that i wasnt interrested in... i am considering suing them for my loss read more

My partner had been searching for a Kia Soul and found one that was very decently priced at Baha Auto Sales. At first, driving to the lot, we were both a little skeptical as it's location is less than desirable. However, once we drove up to the lot, the front was packed with newer makes and models, including 2010 and 2011 Lexus and Nissan models. It wasn't your average skeevy roadside car dealership. The guy we worked with, Chris, was very nice and very accommodating. At first we were concerned that we might get taken, that they'd be fast-talking, customer-question-interrupting car salesmen, and although they were, they were not so over-bearing that you couldn't ask your questions. Chris worked really hard to get us the best interest rate possible, even arguing with a banker. In the end, my partner got exactly the car she wanted, for a completely reasonable price with nice customer service to boot. The reason this is getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because the dealership's ambiance isn't exactly inviting, baring bathroom shelves stocked with Fabuloso and extra toilet paper, and a cluttered office and lobby space. I wish I'd read these reviews before I went to this Baha Auto on North Ave but I didn't and I feel cheated now. The owner claims that the car I bought had maintenance done but IT DIDN'T. Just little over a month ago I bought the car and now I had to have done the alignment - which should've been done by him that's must when a dealer sells a car for almost $ 13.000 and the transmition flush, the tires were very bad especially the right side because of the alignment wasn't done so I had to buy new tires also. And who knows what other problems I'll have after this. I totally agree with LA. and other people here that this dealer doesn't want to negotiate at all but stick with his price when he knows there are so many things wrong with the car he sales but is hard to detect at the first look and yes he rushes you with paper work just to get you signed and your money. The woman at the desk is even worse when I tried to reach him on the phone she put me on hold every single time for a very long time and she would answer after 10-15 minutes or so just to continue her horrible game to put me on hold again and the owner is on her side protecting her because she is doing exactly how he likes it, he got the money from the car he sold so that's it. All he wants is money without to care about how fair he is to his customers or if he honor what he tells you about the car he sells you. needed a car for $5k to last a month with no additional repairs. baha sold me an 05 vw golf with 120k miles, told me it was in good condition. one week later, antifreeze leaks and system was put together with office clamps, rope and duct tape ($350 to fix). next week check engine light comes on, I need a new catalytic converter ($700). next week starter goes out ($450). next week check engine comes on again (replaced coolent temp sensor $400). next week ball joints are knocking like crazy ($200 to fix). this week windshield wipers stopped working properly and trunk no longer opens. I'm again here at baha auto shop hoping to resolve these constant issues. Waiting now for 5 hours. How many mechanics and how many hours to open up a broken trunk!? how much are they going to charge me now? I'll be writing another review if i have to pay another $2000 in repairs to a car that was supposed to be in good working condition. read more

I had the misfortune to deal with this dealership. One thing everyone must know is that all of their inventory comes from auctions. Which means that many if not all of these cars have been in accidents. When they are asked to see the history of the car they give you their verbal promise that there have been no accidents or that it was just a little bump. When you take the time to actually research the vehicles history you find out how bad it is. Their financing is a joke. They must have a deal with the bank because they hit you with high interest rates. Although you may have excellent credit they tell you that you don't. There are so many red flags with this place. They are not accredited with the BBB, and they don't have to but they are rated as an F and have had 3 complaints. Unfortunately people who purchase from there are not savy about cars or financing.
