    Hot Honey Mango Margarita

The most impressive part of our visit to this restaurant was the huge selection of entrees plus our waitresses had knowledge of celiac and gluten intolerances and came back with the gluten free food menus. She came with the DETAILS and all the menus available for the gluten-free community. (Back to business...) [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant had a very pleasant, very tropical vibe (of course) and the food and the service were top notch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Kudos for Bahama Breeze!!

The grilled salmon dinner was perfectly seasoned and tasted delicious. The Sunset Berry Sangria was so refreshing that 1 just wasn't enough, but strong enough that 2 was . Sat at the bar, and the young lady serving us was delightful. She was by herself, and there was an influx of us after a parade, but she did very well.

We just had an outstanding meal and service tonight! Antonie was an exceptional server! Truly made our night! We had him order our main entree and it was so delicious. The pork chop was tender and juicy paired with the mashed sweet potatoes was perfect! We also had conch fritters and flaming pinnapple butter cake I have eaten at many very high end restaurants and am grateful but this was up there with a favorite meal and experience! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also restaurant very tidy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend!

This was a surprisingly good spot to stop for lunch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've never heard of it, but I'm always up for a good beach vibe restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside and the patio had a heater to ward off the chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Antoine was our server. He was prompt, friendly and helpful showing us how to use the table side machine -- it had games for kids and you could order or pay. The drinks were fast and very tasty. The crab dip was hot and really good! We will definitely be back for lunch/happy hour.

    Honey Butter Crispy Chicken Sandwich

Finally had a layover in Charleston so you know I had to come back to Bahama Breeze! I ordered the honey butter crispy chicken sandwich again and also a Bahama Mama for the drink. Got there when it was still lunch so I was able to get my meal for the lunch price. Waited a little bit and got the drink during happy hour. Once again, the sandwich was delicious!! Think I need to try other items but this sandwich is just too good. I could definitely tell there was alcohol in the drink cause WOW!! Got through about half of it before I couldn't drink anymore cause boy was I feeling it. Haha!! It was my birthday the next day and the person I was with decided to surprise me with the chocolate dessert. My goodness was it SO FREAKIN GOOD!!! The mousse part was so light with so much flavor....YUM!!!!! Also have to add that our server was one of the nicest humans I've ever met. She took great care of us and we all made sure to leave a nice tip. Can't wait to go back!!

The service was friendly and fast. We got the skirt steak and stuffed plantains. Everything was delicious and presented so well. Next time we are in Charleston we will make a point to come back.

    Island Snapper
    Justin J.

Stopped in tonight. Started with the conch fritters, and I liked them, though they weren't crispy like I expected them to be? I had the Island Snapper for my main, and I actually liked it a lot. It was one of the lower calorie options on the menu, but it had a lot of flavor, was not greasy, and was cooked well. Most of the items on the menu involve mango, salsa, pineapple, lime, or avocado, if you don't like those flavors, this is likely not the right pick for you! The drink menu seemed to have lots of beach-themed booze on the menu; I don't drink so I didn't pay close attention, but it looked like a fun menu for those who do. I felt the price was fair for what I got, which was a well-made seafood dish that had some fresh flavor. I wish my meal came with a vegetable side, though, rather than a bit of avocado and the salsa on the fish & rice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere was casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My server, Emily, was training a new server, Emily, and both were friendly and personable and did a good job. This is definitely a nice restaurant in the Rivers Avenue/Ashley Phosphate area and it's near my house, and I can see myself returning. J.Ja

Although this place opened in 2022 we never managed to get there until yesterday and we are glad we finally made it there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outside of the building sets the mood for a tropical experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside the ceiling Is high with tropical fans and plants.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was excellent and quick. And the food was absolutely delicious. Without a doubt we will be returning.

Went to Bahama breeze with my two grandkids for lunch. We were greeted immediately by a very friendly staff and sat us at a booth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love booths![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] About 5 minutes later our server came to the table and took our order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The grandkids love playing with the table top game system and took turns while we waited on our food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My granddaughter got the bowtie pasta. My grandson got the hamburger sliders, both from the kids menu. I ordered the coconut shrimp platter. Everything came out hot and fresh and very tasty. We'll be back!

We came in to have a nice lunch. Sat at the bar because they say service is quicker. We have been there before and so we already knew what we wanted to eat and so we wanted to just order right away. The bartender took our order and then for 30 minutes. Bartender snubbed us. He never even came by to check so we walked out. There were three other couples there and they all received their food within 15 minutes and we never got ours. So we walked out. We did leave money for the two drinks. The bartender had some type of attitude, service wasn't good in fact there was none.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant had a nice vibe[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], it took the server a little while before she came to our table, but she did arrive she was wonderful very pleasant and suggested some items. We ordered the whole Jerk wings and they were flavored well good. For entree we ordered the red snapper and chicken pineapple bowl. The Island snapper wasn't that good very bland even with mango fruit. Now the chicken pineapple was good.

Excellent experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant provides that tropical feeling with the decor and fancy drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is a large list of drinks to choose from. We went for lunch, and I ordered the coconut shrimp tacos and they were sooo good. The service was attentive which added to the positive experience. I can't wait to go back again. Highly recommended.

    Mel Z.

After a long day of driving, we were glad to find something that was open late close to were we were staying. The service was good as our server was attentive, friendly and checked on us often. Our drinks and food were okay, the only thiI stopped by to take some new things to try to my friend and these were a hit! I got the red velvet donut and the ube and chocolate puffs. The store is clean and they have a large selection of flavors that rotate weekly. It is a nice add to the area. ng that stood up were the skillet simmered jerk shrimp and dipping the bread in the juice, delish! The crab dip was lacking flavor and the chips definitely not fresh. The beef empanadas had a different flavor as it tasted more like curry. It was not a bad choice but it could had been better.

Can someone tell me if the jerk chicken pasta supposed to have a strong lemon taste or did the cook make it wrong?

No. I tasted my husband's order and the flavors I detected were jerk spices and an Alfredo type sauce.

I was told to seat myself at the bar, I guess because I was by myself, but instead of the bartender taking my order like is normal when you are seated at the bar, a server came by and stood next to me to take my order and explain the menu. I ordered the Weekend Special (it's call that, but you can order it at any time, same for the other specials), hush puppies, and sausage. One thing very different here is they cook the food in a plastic bag with a sauce mixed in, so you pick a sauce at the time of order. Service was fast and friendly. I don't want to get anyone in trouble by going into detail, but some of the people behind the bar were pretty unprofessional. Not to me directly or to customers, but the conversations employees were having should have been done somewhere not in front of customers. Hush puppies were both sweet and savory which I like. Shrimp, potatoes, and crab came out done well. Lobster tail was tough and rubbery. The sausage was fine, tasted like Hillshire Farms or an equivalent which is fairly meh to me but I know lots of folks like that. I really did not care for the food being cooked in the sauce. I had some in Cajun and some in garlic and butter, and it was just too heavy for me. I really just like me seafood bare and dip it in some melted butter and lemon pretty lightly, so having a few cups of sauce in each bag of food was just way too much for my tastes. This is a personal preference thing so I am not knocking stats for it, but I didn't care for this style (plus it was super messy), and I don't want all the extra calories from a sauce. Price was pretty good for the amount of food I had. J.Ja
