We stopped here on our way to GA for a late lunch. They were still serving lunch menu around 3pm which was fine. We tried the Mediterranean Chicken wrap with a side of Mac and Cheese. I understand it was delicious. We also got the shrimp tacos with an avocado add on. The shrimp was blackened and delicious. You get 3 niced sized flour tortillas and it was filling. service was great. our waitress was very attentive and nice. overall: starter bread was mildly hard to chew, and the other bread we were given was almost raw tasting..? butter was good- honey maple. steak was not amazing, but chimichurri sauce and fries were pretty great. needed more truffle because i couldn't taste it. lastly, the mac and cheese i got a full portion of and i don't think it's great at all. it's not a bad mac and cheese by any means, but it needs way more seasoning and maybe some cheese on top then broil or a breadcrumb crust. it was very underwhelming. i'm a mac and cheese girl and it was not great for being so promoted as best. overall left feeling a bit annoyed because it wasn't amazing, portion sizes were fine but for what we had it wasn't worth the $. i'm willing to pay more of course if the food is good. wouldn't recommend purely for food purposes, staff is great. ambiance was ok, we went on a Wednesday and it was slower and had no real complaints. read more

We came the day before Valentine's Day and we had reservation for this dinner. This is the first time we eat at this restaurant and the host were so friendly and very welcoming. The inside was pretty casual and they also have outdoor seating but it was too cold this month of the year for people to eat out. The service was nice and our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable with the menus. We ordered several appetizers, the crab cake , ahi tuna, and the amazing chorizo and clams appetizer that you must order if you eat here. We order the cast iron duck breast as our main course and it was good but we weren't a big fan of the sides, I think it was barley. Our son loves this place so we finally made it there on his recommendation. Reese, our server, was a pleasure. The Mac n cheese is very good and the buffalo chicken was the perfect complement. Clocked it at like $21 but could easily be split. I really wanted to add broccoli but that would have added $6 which I think is a little cray. A little broccoli would have made this $27 macaroni! Had a great time at Crave! We had an excellent server who was very attentive and immediately replaced my friend's meal when she had an issue. He also offered Champagne as well as dessert after finding out that we were celebrating a special occasion. For my meal, I ordered the mac & cheese with mushrooms. The mac & cheese was the highlight of the menu and I got suckered in lol. It actually was pretty good and the mushrooms were good too, although it seemed like not enough for the up charge. I also got the smoky peach cocktail, which was almost like a smoothie since it was made with peach puree. They also do this cool flame thing in the beginning to create the smoky flavor. Today's special was a delicious amberjack tuna in a wrap...we asked if it could be served on a bed of lettuce, and Georgia was quickly able to get that change done for us. The tuna was delicious, mixed with a medley of sundried tomatoes and crunchy veggies! Served with fries or side salad. I decided to give the sweet potato fries a try...so so tasty. We got the chicken Cesar salad and the bacon Mac and cheese. Chicken salad was a standard Cesar that was in the top half of Cesar's I've have. Chicken may have been a little on the dry side but that's not why you get a salad. This place routinely earns awards for best Mac and Cheese in the area. Certainly agree that it is very good! Very creamy cheese sauce and the bacon is cooked right. Finely chopped crispy bits add a very good touch and are well worth the upcharge. Portion size also very good. We split the salad and the Mac. This restaurant is located in a strip mall, which is deceiving because I had an incredible meal there! There were about to accommodate a large group of us (12) and the service was very prompt and our server was really nice. They let us all pay individually which was a huge plus. They have a very extensive menu and I had a hard time choosing. I ended up going with the chicken Marsala which was absolutely delicious. Tonight I picked up a to go order of $18 Brussels Sprouts (which I thought was excessive to begin with) but thought maybe it was just a really big portion. WRONG! My mother loves this place, so took me here for Easter brunch, since I had never been. A nice, quiet location in the Shoppes At Seaside Farms, Crave is a beautiful restaurant with a fabulous menu, an ambient atmosphere, delicious food and great service. She had the omelette and I had the eggs Benedict. Both were amazing! Each about $18. She also had a mimosa, which she enjoyed. (My aunt from California also loves to eat here, and highly recommends their mac and cheese.) Our server, Piper, was amazing, and really contributed to our fun dining experience. Crave is fast becoming one of our favorite restaurants in Mount Pleasant. Every time we go, the food is wonderful and the service is outstanding. The Mac & Cheese is an experience in itself, but the rest of the menu one of the best as far as variety, taste, originality, and taste. I reserved it for my birthday dinner and was really excited, but they made us promise a $25 no show fee per person off the bat which I thought was ridiculous especially since it was pretty empty when we arrived. My friend and I had to reorder drinks twice because we did not like what they made us. The food was pretty average for the hype I've heard especially being in one of the nicest areas of Charleston. I got the Mediterranean bowl; the quinoa in it is satisfying without bloating. Great dressing comes on the side. My son got the chicken fingers with fries that he seemed to be happy with. I tasted a fry, it had a nice coating on it, like a breading maybe. Kid friendly with kids menus but we were the only ones. A lot of "ladies who lunch" type groups and a few dates. They have a fried oyster po boy. I was looking for steamed or oysters Rockefeller. The drinks were amazing. I got their sangria and my boyfriend got an old fashioned. I'm an open minded individual who believes in giving a restaurant, which seems busy, a second chance! So I grabbed a seat at the bar and Georgia waited on me . I will go straight to the chase: The best part of the meal was the beer, an IPA. I ordered the artichoke appetizer. I was served after a "flash in the microwave " which I could tell because the center was cold .. so they reheated it. It was returned and as I fought with the outer petals ( is is a FLOWER!) they did not get softer. Basically it was undercooked. Artichokes should be soft and easy to eat the inner leaves, which you actually scrape off with your teeth. Couldn't do it here! Then the broiled snapper at $38. A special on the menu... The fish was tough like gristle! Uuggh! I didn't complain because you reach a point where it is unsalvageable. The veggies and starch with it ( ?cous cous? ) were ina a thick sweet sauce , not served hot . I think the fish may have been pre cooked... anyway I'm not trying to to hurt the establishment ; I just hope they understand how short they fall from excellence. read more
