As soon as the server put the plate in front of me, they whipped out a flashlight, shined it on my plate and asked me to cut into the middle of the steak to ensure it was cooked correctly. This bothered me for multiple reasons: 1.) for a restaurant of this caliber, I would expect the chef to know if my steak is cooked correctly and 2.) I like to cut into my steak at the end not the middle. It was cooked correctly but it was not as juicy/flavorful as I hoped it would be. The sides for our table were the most impressive part of my meal; perfect mashed potatoes and probably one of the best creamed spinaches I've ever had! Oddly enough, it was more crunchy than creamy but somehow it worked and tasted delicious.
