This is a good spot for an icy snack. The store has both drive-thru and a lot of seating inside, which is convenient depending on what you need. They offer smoothies and shaved ice. We ordered a mango dragonfruit and acai berry breeze smoothies. The coconut taste in the mango drink was strong, so if you like coconut it'd be good. The acai smoothie was very rich in berry flavors, we enjoyed that one more. There are tons of options so you will definitely find something that suits your flavor. Check it out if you can! read more

I went here after Six Flags to celebrate reaching level 50 on Pokemon Go. I wanted to get a Pokemon Go drink at Starbucks, but they were closed. I decided to go on yelp and I saw Bahama Buck's and they always have gift cards for this place and I said I want to give it a shot as you do get 20% off your order. The prices are on the higher end as if I did not use my 20% off my drink would have been $8.00 for a 24 ounce drink. I ordered the wave runner which has coconut, banana and it looked cool. Unfortunately, the place is understaff as I waited a couple of minutes for someone to help me out while others were making the drinks. There were about 4 of them working at the time making drinks and the shaved ice. It took them 20 minutes to give me my drink and I did not mind as I was not in a hurry. They did apologize for the long wait. Anyways overall, I was impressed with the drink and it was quite good. There is not a Bahama Bucks near our house, but there is one in Rockwall, so I might end up buying the gift cards as next time I know my wife wants to have the shaved ice. read more

Ordered two cones Harder ice Tasted like ice instead of flavor (on the cone part, definitely) I would have thought ordering 3 different flavors would've prevented this. Driverhru closed so we had to go inside. Maybe I shouldn't watch them make them. Gloves were used, but the ice was packed down with the gloves, the bottles picked up with those gloves. The towel /rag picked up with those gloves (to wipe down the Syrups off of the cup). And one employee (although he didn't touch the ice) came over without gloves, put the spoon and umbrella in the cone and handed it to me. We will drive to Plano from now on. read more

This was my first time to a Bahama Bucks and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any restaurant/place of service. The crew working at 1:30pm on Sunday, June 23rd was absolutely awful. We ordered two items at 1:31pm and they were not ready until 2:01pm. We waited exactly thirty minutes while they tended to the drive through and ignored several guests dining-in who waited at the front for 15+ minutes to check on their orders. The lady who took our order had a poor attitude and no one on the team had proper customer service skills. One customer waited for her drink for quite some time. They made it, left it at the counter without saying whose it was, and it sat there for a long time. When she realized the drink was probably hers, the male employee took it from the counter, added more syrup to it, and gave it back to her. The customer was very kind, but shocked. She said, "This drink sat on the counter for a while because my name was not called and I didn't know it was mine. I would like a new drink." Mind you, there were intermittent rushes, but nothing too crazy. Their sole attention to the drive through is what caused their poor timing with indoor customers. After she asked for a new drink, he very quietly said, "I put new juice in it." She asked him to repeat himself because he spoke so quietly. He said, "I put new juice in it." I asked him, "Is that the same drink that was on the counter?" He nodded. I asked, "did you put new ice in it?" He shook his head. I said, "Just make her a new drink please." He rolled his eyes, grabbed the cup and threw it away. He did make her a new drink but had a very poor attitude about it. All throughout our time there, the staff periodically looked up at the people standing at the front, near the pick up counter and order counter, but I didn't not ever see a single employee acknowledge anyone, including myself, and ask what we needed. I was tempted to ask for my money back before receiving our drinks because we had to get on the road, but the cashier had already given our other family members a hard time when she added an item to their order that they did not order or receive. She laughed and acted irritated, "Well, I guess I can take it off....." I truly want businesses to be successful and am writing this so that someone can know how their staff treats guests and represents their franchise when they're not there. I had a blue coconut one that was not a disappointment. It did not leave me with a bad aftertaste, but was rather delicious, more-ish, and quite satisfying. My niece had some concoction of flavor that she said was quite delightful, sugary, and left her with a rainbow of colors on her tongue. We decided to enjoy our icy treats in-house and while there, we took advantage of the games. The management of this place has good sense, and in the corner of the store, you'll find multiple games to choose from so that you and your peeps can spend quality fun time together. My actual review would be 4 out of 5. This review needs to be seen. Bahama Buck's is my favorite! But at this location... not so good. As soon as I got my ice it was melting. The ice is clunky and hard and the ice isn't shaved as finely as the other locations. The taste and quality is very inconsistent, and it feels disappointing. With each bite. Last year this time, I was at this location and it was the same "eh" feeling. Other locations don't disappoint. This location is a 7/10 Bahama Bucks in general is the best. Finally a Bahama Bucks in the Arlington/Grand Prairie area! I love sno-cones and as far as flavors you won't find more than Bahama Bucks. My current favorite is Lime with creme. It it so good it has moved me away from my standard blue coconut and pineapple. The sno just melts in your mouth and their syrups are the absolute best I've had so far. Location is not to bad you just need remember if you are coming west on Lamar from 360 turn left on Ballpark Way or you will have to drive down for a bit and turn around of your heading east on Lamar from Collins your good. This is the perfect spot for walking traffic from Hurricane Harbor but it's about to close soon for the season. This location has lots of seating, way more than the 7th Street location in FTW and they are planning a drive thru as soon as approve but as of 8/10/15 it's just being used to order and walk up which can save you some line time inside. Not much else to say it's Sno-cones that are great. I only give them 4 stars because of price, they are pricey and this will keep me out of Bahama Bucks on a daily basis, but once a week I will probably stop by. read more

Closest sno-cones place around this area. Consistincey is excellent. Plenty of flavor in every bite or drink you take. Tons of flavors & combos to come up with. Each time I've come the workers have been super friendly and very knowledgeable about flavors and tastes. Plenty of seating inside and outside. If it's your 1st time going, I would advise you stand back and scan the menu before ordering. There is so much to take in, you want to get your order right and not feel rushed into something cause your causing the line to back up. Also don't forget about checking in, you get 20% off your order. Big fan of this place, I am sure I will frequent alot now that it's starting to warm up. They mix fresh strawberry juice, strawberry ice cream and strawberry syrup to basically create a strawberry super drug for my taste buds. I ordered it in an Avalance, which is the largest size cup. It's a little on the pricey side but the taste makes up for the coins you spend. Plus the gentleman gave me a punch card. Depending on how cold it is outside you get multiple punches. Once you get 10, you get a free drink at any size. :) If you check in, you get 20% off too. I must say that the customer service here is TOP NOTCH. The employees seem to be younger. Maybe high schoolers and college students. They are super! The inside looks like a little shack on the beach that serves drink in Hawaii :), so I think it helps left the cold outside mood to just sit in there especially with wome firends.
