One thing I don't understand is why subbing peanut butter for almond butter is more expensive when the add on menu shows +$1 for PB or AB, so they're the same price..?? I normally don't like leaving negative reviews, especially for what appears to be a family-owned business, but my experience here was disappointing. Coming from California, where açaí bowl shops are everywhere, the "açaí" base served here didn't taste like pure açaí. It was much closer to a smoothie bowl. When I politely asked a staff member about the blend, instead of receiving an explanation, I was met with a confrontational attitude. The quality wasn't what I expected, but the customer service was the bigger issue. Asking a simple question shouldn't lead to an argument. I won't be returning, and I hope management addresses the customer service experience so future guests feel comfortable asking questions. read more

Speaking of.. these Acai bowls are so fresh, filling, and delicious. I keep thinking about the one I had last, the "Cool Beans." Ooooh it's way too good!! It's a blend of cold brew, bananas, dates, and almond milk absolutely smothered with homemade granola (gluten free), chocolate chips, sliced banana, and a scoop of peanut butter. It's as good as it sounds! They have so many great flavors and ingredients, so you can get super green and healthy with your bowls or just go nuts with fruits and chocolate. Very cute shop with amazing made in house granola and knowledge staff! The fruit was fresh, but I do wish the mixes were blended to order. As someone with allergies I had to go with one of the pre-blended instead of being able to sub out one ingredient. I also would hope for a build your own bowl option soon. I haven't seen an açaí bowl truck before nor have I had an açaí bowl so I was intrigued. I ordered the smallest size of cool beans. The smallest size is still plenty though. The cool beans has their homemade granola (so yummy), bananas, semi sweet chocolate chips and I believe peanut butter (whatever it was, it was the best part of the açaí bowl). The bowl was pricey $10 (for the smallest size), however the portion was plenty for me. They have menu where you can order one of their açaí bowls and add toppings as well. There was one guy working in the truck and he was quick and attentive. They have a cute turf area with a couple of tables with umbrellas to sit down.
