I've been waiting in the drive through for 15 minutes now with only one car in front of me. The service here is terrible

I was skeptical about the raves accolades when the locals were talking about this place. I thought "it's just shaved ice, what's the big deal?" Oh but it is such a big deal! The shaved ice was granular like most shaved ice treats and the addition of ice cream in the bottom gave me a frosty tropical experience that I had never had before. Banana and pineapple flavor never tasted so good together. Now I just need to know what it will take to either have one makes its way to the Midwest, or I've gotta start making plans to get back to Phoenix. So good! read more

Let me tell you about this location, first of all me and my boyfriend go here easily once or twice a week and are always met with great customer service. We had a free product because we filled out our punch card and I had asked the drive through girl to put as much sour patch sauce as she could on my shaved ice and wow she really loaded that up, honestly I wish I caught her name so I could've called and told her manager how awesome she was. The shaved ice is so soft and not only do they have sour flavors but they have SUPER sour flavors, which is a dream for anyone who loves that kick. I will recommend this business, specifically this location, for as long as I possibly can. read more

We go to this location because it is close to our house, but is nothing like the Chandler location and they always seem to get something wrong. Tonight my wife came home with two different shaved ice orders. She asked for ice cream in both and they put about 90% ice cream and nearly no shaved ice. In the past, they have gotten orders wrong many times. Take the time to drive to another location. read more

Went through the drive through on a grey, rainy afternoon. Nobody was inside and only one person was in front of me. It took 20 minutes to get my 3 shaved ices. I thought maybe the car in front of me ordered the entire store, so I watched and they only got two cups handed to them... Not sure how 5 drinks took 20 minutes, but it did. In that 20 minutes, they couldn't even figure out how to actually get flavoring into our shaved ice, so I'm not entirely sure what they were doing in there. Super disappointed. I love Bahama Buck's, but I won't be going to this location again. read more

LOVE this new location! We have been here at least 4 times since they have opened! My girls absolutely love it!!! They tend to be very busy so come with your patient cap on, it's worth the wait! Eat the yellow snow!! It's on of my daughter absolute favorites and you have to go Bahama mama Rama style!! That's blue bell vanilla ice cream in the bottom quarter!! I'm so happy they opened up a location by our house. I'm addicted to the root beer float shaved ice with ice cream on the bottom. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. It's very busy but they have a drive through so you can listen to music or talk on your phone while you wait. read more

A great spot to have some cool shaved ice on a hot Arizona afternoon. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because the tables are often very sticky and I find myself wiping down the tables myself with napkins. A little better upkeep of the tables and I'll gladly give another star! read more

Although I love Bahama Bucks, I was disappointed in my last experience there. I went through the drive through on a Saturday night and it was extremely slow. It took about 5 minutes to get to the order taker and then another 5 to actually place my order. When I finally received my root beer float snocone with cream, I barely could taste any flavoring. I looked at it and some ice was white which was obvious since the ice should be brown. I understand if they were busy but it is disappointing to pay for ice in a cup. read more

I went through the drive thru here and waited almost 15 mins and realized when I got home I got the wrong snowcone. I went back to the store to get it exchanged and the manager I spoke with (Dylan) was beyond accommodating and apologized for our inconvenience (they were out of what we wanted) and happily gave us our choice of replacement. We went to this location this evening and the young girls working tonight decided to close at least 10 minutes early. They refused us service at the drive thru even though they were helping someone at the window. We had to back out of the drive thru as well. I went to the front and knocked. I was completely ignored even though they were still open. I realized that the door was open so I asked the 4 girls who their manager was. One told me the name Hiram, and then another said "ohhhhh, were you just in the drive-thru?" When I said yes she said we could go back and they would help me, staying that their headsets were broken. I don't believe this to be true because there was no sign at all, telling customers this. The girls were merely changing their tune once they found out that I wanted to speak to their manager. I told the girls that it was ok, and that I would just call the manager and the one who told us to return to the drive thru said "yeahhhh, go ahead!!!", as I was closing the door. Not sure what the attitude was about but I was not at all rude to them. So I opened the door back up, and asked the rude one what her name was and she hesitated and then said "Karen!!" Yeah ok. Needless to say the service is terrible and we just wanted a few iced for our kids, not to mention we were there before closing. We will be avoiding this location and heading to Rita's where we have always had great service. read more

We usually love BB but today unfortunately I am very unhappy with our visit. While eating my shaved ice I found a short black curly hair buried close to the bottom. I couldn't help but to let my mind wander about where that hair came from.. I am not usually one to complain or even share reviews - but I was so disgusted I had to throw it away. Whenever we stop in the service has always been prompt and friendly. I've been to Bahama Bucks about 4 or 5 times now and i absolutely love it! I've taken my kids there and they love their shaved ice! Every time i have been there a very nice young lady was working.. I took my grandson for a treat and we both ate our shaved ice treats so fast that we got multiple cases of brain freeze. Mine was simple: pina colada flavoring. Javi had pink bubble gum flavoring with some chocolate ice cream on the bottom (I was startled at the flavor combination but Javi loved it). What a fun experience! read more

The blasts were amazing and a young lady named Madison waited on us with the utmost professionalism, she helped our children decide on the many choices they offered. I've never had a problem with Bahama Bucks until I went today. I ordered at the drive thru and the girl taking my order didn't repeat my order back to me or tell me my total. When I got to the window, I was told the total and asked if I could pay $10 in cash, and the rest with a gift card, because the gift card wasn't mine, and she said it would be okay, and when she gave me my change, she gave me cash and had used the entire gift card. I told her that i had an item missing from my order and that I would just pay for it since she must've missed it when I ordered at the drive thru. When I received my order, the sizes were wrong, and I was so frustrated and there were a line of cars behind me, and so I left. As I was leaving, I realized that she didn't even give me a receipt, so I don't even know where the order was messed up or what I was charged for. I work in food service, so this was just a really frustrating experience. read more

5 stars does no service for Bahama Bucks, but more so Ellie! (Hope I spelled it right). With sister, momma and wife pregnant with our twins we needed some Bahama Bucks. Ellie was so personable, so helpful and just made our day! We cannot wait to come back! We were in the Higley/Pecos location tonight for a youth activity. It was very very busy. Our order was taken very quickly & we didn't have to wait long for our order! One of our girls sno didn't have enough flavor in it & your staff was quick to help her & fill in the "white" w/ flavoring! Another girl had never been & ordered natural mango. She didn't care for the taste of it. I stopped an employee (Jordana) & asked if maybe we could add strawberry or something to it to make the taste different & I would pay. The employee was super willing to help, offering a whole new sno if she wanted! When the girl decided to switch w/ another girl, Jordana still came back to check if we were sure we didn't want to exchange for a new one. This was all in the middle of a huge rush.
