The employee was smiling waiting for us down at the counter. We put down our big water gallons right in front of her, and she kindly greeted us. She grabbed them and rinsed every single one of them out, before she even filled them up with fresh water. We had six big water jugs to get filled, and it was 30cents per gallon to fill them up. They have regular water and they also sell alkaline water for an additional cost. The owners were there on that night, and they were both super friendly! They definitely won our business! There is a location closer to me which I will visiting from now on! Thank you!

Getting our drinking water here is quick and convenient. They have plenty of carts available to help transport water jugs to and from your car, which makes refilling multiple bottles so much easier. What I really love is that it's so much more than just a water store. They have a whole wall of candy, delicious Thrifty Ice Cream, snow cones, and plenty of other treats and drinks to choose from. After I started filling them, I asked the employee if they still accepted the cards. She looked at them and immediately said no because they were "five years old." She then asked me if I thought Kohl's would honor a seven-year-old gift card. Considering there was no expiration date on these cards, I honestly believe that comparison was unfair. What upset me most was the way the situation was handled. She took the cards out of my hands and said, "I'll just keep these and you can take the water." In the end, I essentially paid over $40 for 9 gallons of water that had technically already been paid for years ago. I even offered to pay for the water at that moment, but she repeatedly refused while keeping the cards. The entire interaction made me feel as though I was being treated like I was doing something wrong, when all I was trying to do was use prepaid punch cards with no expiration date. Unfortunately, because of how this was handled, I won't be returning.

Food (5/5): If you've never has a chimney cake, you're in for a treat. They're made to order and customizable. More so than anywhere I've ever seen. You choose your base, toppings, additions, and drizzles. I went with the traditional chimney cake with Biscoff cookies, vanilla ice cream, and Nutella drizzle. Outside of the dessert options, which are the way to go for first timers, if you're feeling adventurous, they also have one or two savory options. The chimney cakes are served warm and absolutely delicious. They're filling too so come with an appetite. It's one of those things everyone should try at least once in their lifetime. So cool to have them in Mesa!

If I could give this place a negative rating right now I would!!! Just experienced one of the rudest, most heartless acts of customer service in my life!!! I regularly go to this water & ice location. i came back from a trip to california, exhausted. Laid down to rest. When I woke up, it was 10 minutes to 6pm. I thought, "Oh my gosh! I'm out of alkaline water and the water store closes in 10 minutes." It's only 5min. from my house so I grabbed 2 one gallon containers & rushed down there. When I pulled up in front of the door and got out of the car, I saw the young gal in the store, who obviously saw me, rush up to the door and lock it.!! It was 6pm straight up!! I asked if I could just buy 2 gallons of water. She said, "Sorry, it's after 6 and we're closed." She then grabbed a mop and started mopping the floor right in front of the door. I said, "I just need to buy 2 gallons of water." She said, "Sorry, it's after 6 and we're closed." I said, "Please, I just need to buy 2 gallons of water." She said, "Sorry, it's after 6 and we're closed." When I asked again, she continued mopping right in front of the door and just ignored me. I'm on a special diet to correct some health problems and the alkaline water they sell has been helping. I can't believe anyone could be so cruel and heartless as turn away someone who only wanted to buy 2 gallons of water! What would that have taken? Possibly 3 to 5 minutes at the most?!? If that! She's obviously NOT the owner or related to the owners. But where is the customer service and work ethic of the past? In Arizona it's still a crime on the law books to refuse to give water to someone if they ask for water and you are the only water within a quarter of a mile. Granted, this is an old law from the days of the old west and this water store is not the only water within a quarter of a mile. But this illustrates just how precious water is here in this state!! -And we know it!! Our youth don't have the work ethic of previous generations, nor the character. It's a shame and it's why our country is in the state it's in now. When I've owned my own businesses and worked for others I always go the extra mile. It always pays off. -And the consequences of poor customer service will come back to bite you also. Peter, I sent you a message but wanted to thank you publicly as well. They have a vast selection of sodas, candy and other fun items. However, the staple is the tasty and available water all hours of the day. Inside there's around 12 water dispensers for ~6 customers at a time which limits or eliminates waiting. If you found a slower dispenser, move to the next one as they all have varying speeds. The workers behind the counter are always fast and courteous. I even got money back one time when the outdoor water dispenser ate my money after hours but didn't give me any water. The price of water is still reasonable at 50 cents per gallon for the quality of the water you're getting. It's the only water my cat will drink...she won't touch store water, fridge-filtered water or tap water. That's how you know it's good! I highly recommend this place for your water, ice and treat needs!
