The service is always solid but the product just isn't good. I've gone three different times and every thing is just t kinda blah.

Always fun to get a snow cone with the kids but they've changed since Covid and they're not as tasty. Snow cones are too soupy and messy now. Love all the new flavors they create. read more

Love this place for shaved ice! It's way better than any snow cone stand because the ice is the perfect consistency and they put just the right amount of syrup. Took the kids here tonight and had great service, the girl at the cash register was very friendly and our cones were delicious! read more

First time after hearing lots of talk about it. The line was pretty long, but what can you expect on a hot, summer day in Texas? I tried the mango tango and enjoyed it. I thought it was going to be way too sweet, but it was balanced nicely. I surprisingly also enjoyed the whipped cream. I'm not too sure if I'll ever get into snow cones, but I'll definitely try another smoothie some time. read more

This bahama bucks in particular is located conveniently next door to my apartments. The staff is always friendly and the drive thru doesn't take too long. I love the variety of options they have including smoothies & fresh fruit as well! read more

Busy probably because it just opened, and it's a different concept in town. It's fun and kitschy with board games to play at your table while you enjoy a snow cone. I was thrilled to see they have some zero calories sugar free options but when I tried a raspberry and vanilla sugar free option it left my mouth tasting nasty, and I couldn't get rid of the taste for what felt like days. So while I'm happy to have a dessert place with a healthier option I probably wouldn't do it again just because of the lingering flavor of sugar free sweetener. I am interested in buying snowballs and pelting my kids one day after school. read more

Summer, summer, summer time. First time customer and OMG, so many choicest. Parents if you take your little kiddos here, make sure to have a tactic plan. Look at there menu first and have an idea what your kid(s) want. It can get pretty pricey. If you're undecided between ice cream, slush and/or icee well Bahama Buck's is the place for your desire. I ordered a small cup (12 oz) of chocolate ice cream and blue coconut shaved ice (cost $5.39). My son couldn't eat it all so we shared and 12 oz is good enough for 2 people. I would have to say it's a little different having ice cream and shaved ice together, buy hey why not. I liked it, the blue coconut was sweet and favorable, plus I enjoyed the quality time with my son (priceless). In a nutshell, Bahama Buck's is a fun place to hang out with friends and family. It's too bad they don't have happy hours but meanwhile they do have a punch card, buy 10 and you get one any size free. read more

I've always though Bahama Bucks were the best snow cones EVER, but lately they've been dry and crunchy. I think I'm in mourning.

They've been open just a few days but you'd never know it. Everyone is extremely friendly and the service was really fast for as busy as it was today. They have many flavors to choose from and offer sugar free as well. I ordered a small blue coconut with cream and my hubby chose a Cherry Sublime drink (cherry limeade). Both were delicious!! Definitely will be coming back especially with this hot summer heat.....definitely helps to keep cool. read more

Great treats and been a customer here and in CA. However, at this location be ready to wait long times just to be served. Today was my 4th bad experience in a row. Like the first time, I stood as the next in line and after 10 minutes the person in front of me was still trying to order. The previous time there was a wait, but it was busy so understood. But, I watched the person making my treat spray whip cream on top as his fingernail scraped across the redi-whip as it came out of the can. Not a good look!! About a month ago, I entered as the only customer yet stood there for over 10 minutes waiting for people to come out of the back. 2 customers came in after me and then left -- as I did today after a sad display of service. I wish I could say something positive about the service, but I can't. Despite how much I like the food, it can't overcome the poor service. read more

I've been hearing about how great Bahama Bucks is but have never really tried it. There's a great snow cone place on Randol Mill and Cooper right across from Arlington Memorial (worth the drive) that has snow cones with the texture of snow, literally, so that's the one I'd been frequenting, but they raised their prices not too long ago--for good reason, but still, if they're going to do that might as well try this "Bahama" place everyone keeps raving about since it's much closer. It was SUPER hot today and for some reason water just wasn't doing the trick for me. I decided to go through the drive-thru after my daily bike ride. The wait wasn't too bad for a place that just opened. They did miss my order in the drive-thru so I ended up ordering at the window, but the employee was very friendly about it and delivered my snow cone in an efficient manner. The flavor I got was strawberry cheesecake. In my personal opinion, these cones are VERY sweet and syrupy, as in they use a lot of syrup to capture the flavor with the ice. Some may enjoy this (kids especially), but to me it was too much. Also, the texture of the ice was too close to that of a liquid for me (which could have been because of the syrup), not like the place I usually go to, which is just like snow. They do deliver the snow cone with a little beach umbrella on the side like you would get with a drink at a resort or something, and a really good-quality plastic spoon-it was really cute, however, I think a waste of an expense. They have a large menu for a snow cone place, lots of different types of flavors, and you can even purchase "snow balls" if you want, which would be great for parties, I guess?? Finally, it's been approximately six hours since I've eaten that snow cone and my lips are still red--so that is how much syrup they use in that thing. I'll update this when the color goes away, haha. But I will probably continue to go to this place during this Texas heatwave since it's more conveniently located. Great service, I'll just have to try a different flavor next time. read more

Decided to try this place again after almost a year to see if the service has gotten any better. It was so bad that I had to take away another star. Slow and rude service, no acknowledgement to the people waiting in line to order. Good snow cones can't maintain this place if their staff keeps working to drive customers away. read more

Bahama bucks smoothies are so good that I have not been able to try anything else on the menu because every time I go there I just have to try another smoothie flavor! But apparently they do in fact have shaved ice, original sodas and mochas. So far I have tried the daiquiri smoothie, and the pineapple cream smoothie, but I think my favorite is the Bahama colada smoothie it is so heavenly. I am not usually the type of person to spend money on drinks out but it's totally been worth it for me and I will continue to go there! read more
