I'll keep it short and sweet--great staff, and they prep the oysters perfectly. I'm a big fan of oysters, and they definitely hit the spot!

Those guys are my biggest recommendation! That was one of the most excellent and atypical experiences I have encountered! As a fervent oyster enthusiast, I embarked on a quest to find the best oyster spot in Miami. 'The Lazy Oyster' stood out, topping all the 'oyster' lists. Intrigued, I marked it on my Google Maps, and the next day, I set off with a friend to uncover this unique gem. When we got to the neighborhood, we were a bit lost. We were looking for an open-space "street food" place. The area is very B2B commercial, and we were like, "Hmm, nothing looks like the Google pictures." We called the business's phone, and the guy on the phone was one of the nicest people I've spoken to. He came to look for our car and told us where to park. We were greeted by Alex, who is very knowledgeable about oysters and incredibly friendly. He took the time to explain their unique approach - a focus on catering and supply rather than a traditional cafe setting. We were able to purchase oysters, which were promptly cleaned and opened for us and packed with ice for freshness. The experience was so delightful that we couldn't resist pairing our oysters with a bottle of Prosecco for a truly indulgent treat. Also, Alex was so kind to us that he shared his merch -- The Lazy Oyster T-shirt. I happily wear it back in NY and give directions to The Lazy Oyster in Miami! So, just so you get an idea, it's a storage with oysters, and they are not a cafe or anything like that. They focus on catering and supply. They are the distributors of lazy oysters :) And they cater events all around Miami and its vicinity. The oysters were delicious. Every time I am in Miami, I return to them for more!

My go to for oysters in Miami. They have a mean shuck and a delicious oyster! With a variety of sauces you can't go wrong with any of them. I do with their hot sauce was had more of a bite. We ordered three down raw and a down grilled. Whatever they do to those grilled oyster could get me hooked! Don't forget to order the crab dip as well.

I had been following these guys on social media for a while now and finally made it out to meet them when the lazy oyster came out to smorgasbord on Lincoln road! I've been hooked ever since! I was pregnant at the time so I was not able to have the raw oysters but I def. Took advantage of all of the flavors they make with cooked oysters! The service has always been amazing! They made sure to make some special ones for me! I can't wait to go back now that I am no longer pregnant to finally indulge in their raw oysters !

I first tried the Lazy Oysterat a pop up they had in Coral Gables, wolf wine shop, and i was impressed and shocked at how great tasting and fresh these oysters were so i ordered some for my step dads birthday dinner at home which is one of the most notable aspects of The Lazy Oyster is the convenience they offer. With their online platform, customers can easily place orders and receive their deliveries without leaving the comfort of their home. The company takes pride in ensuring that all orders are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. Another aspect that customers seem to appreciate about The Lazy Oyster is the quality of their products. The oysters they provide are known for their freshness and taste. Moreover, the company offers a range of options to suit different preferences, from the size and type of oyster to the region they come from. Can't highly recommend them enough and how reliable they are for fresh oysters. Their commitment to quality and convenience makes them a great option for seafood lovers who want to enjoy fresh oysters without leaving their home

I freaking love The Lazy Oyster. These guys allow you to stay lazy, and have freshly shucked oysters delivered to your home. Sign.Me.TF.Up. The Lazy Oyster is one of the many delicious pop ups that have emerged in times of COVID-19 and I am here for it. They offer a menu featuring 2-5 kinds of oysters from both the east and west coast that changes weekly, as well as a chargrilled option so you can grill these bad boys if you don't like them raw. Get the Wellfleet's tho - so damn good. How does it work? They put up their menu sometime during the week and delivery Thursday - Sunday. You can DM them on IG to order - @TheLazyOyster - and enjoy friendly oyster delivery by the guys aka "lazy boys" behind this service. They deliver in the Miami area, but check with them to see if they are making your shellfish dreams appear at your doorstep. If you follow them on IG you can also see when they are popping up at local bars like the Taurus! I find their pricing to be super affordable (and it includes delivery hellooo steal), and the oysters are always delicious. The oysters come shucked, but with the shell on top so they stay juicy and fresh until you eat them. They are delivered in an aluminum tray on ice and come with a fresh-made mignonette and lemons. They also have some super cute merch like t's and stickers. I've ordered from them four times since June so I guess you can say I'm staying mad lazy these days.

    Lobster roll

I have been patronizing the lazy oyster since 2020 and bought larger platters from them and also tried their lobster rolls. But after the rude & uncouth behavior of their wynwood staff member I will never patronize in any form again. Their chard oysters fell off the time before this as well.

Misleading prices around the WA and BC oysters

I ordered a dozen of the British Colombia oysters at Cebadas during a pop-up menu. Their oysters are top notch quality and arrive with spectacular marinara and horseradish condiments, as well as an interesting vinegar for those who prefer acidity. I would have paid $40 happily for these dozen oysters, but I was given a menu by Lazy Oyster (per the manager at Cebadas) which proclaimed one dozen oysters for $24. I paid $40 in the end and they refused recourse for falsely advertising half-price on their printed menus. Overall, I feel cheated and scammed. I will never partake in this fraudulent scheme again. Their oysters were spectacular, what a shame

Enter fresh Florida fisheries I popped in on Saturday morning and was immediately impressed how fresh all of the seafood looked and how organized it was basically you order at the counter. The staff is super knowledgeable and they will prep your fish for you however you like. Then they give you a number for your order when you pay, and then you wait for your number to be called. I knew I was looking for for tuna, and my eyes definitely wandered at the selection of fish! The person who helped me was super friendly, suggested the amount that I should be ordering for the party size and was able to clean the fish for me. I also thought that the price was super reasonable for fresh locally caught tuna it was 2499 a pound I got a little bit under 3 pounds for just around $70 and it was incredible. I will definitely be back to explore more of the seafood options that they have. Fish is something that I love to eat, but don't often buy from a grocery store because I get a little weirded out at the quality. Knowing that this is so close to my house with high-quality fish for a great price will make me a returning customer for sure. Parking is pretty chill and easy in their front lot and I'm sure you can park down the street if it's a really busy day. Will be back.

If so, I…read morewould have come at a time where I was hungry and for a mere five dollars had them prepare my meal for me. But that being said, I found it to be a very nice fish market. Now there is a huge downside that you immediately encounter when you arrive. The parking lot is exceptionally small and people are parked every which way, except in the spaces. Getting to the actual building will take some time. The neighboring lots have pretty clear signs that they will tell you if you park there. So you're stuck dealing with what it is. The fish variety is good, although not great. If you're looking for strictly local fish, you'll probably find what you want. Several varieties of snapper and the fish looked wonderful and fresh. Some of my favorites like hogfish and grouper. You can buy the whole fish and they'll fillet it for you or you can buy fillets if they have them of the fish that you want. But the part I missed is having them cook it for me. Now that is something I would like to try next time The downside is they strictly local fish. You won't find any flatfish and I was surprised that they did not have any U4 or U6 shrimp which I like to use to make paella. In addition, I did not see fresh scallops. They did have some nice lobster tails although I did not see other shellfish. Some people have said the prices are reasonable; I found them about 20 to 30% higher than other fish markets I visit. The people here are really nice in the market is attractive. I will be back as I said to get a meal cooked for me in part because it is closer than the fish markets I usually visit and also my curiosity after reading other reviews. I recommend this market if you have the patience to wait for a parking space. If you're looking for the larger shrimp for paella look elsewhere

We grabbed seats at the bar around 2 p.m., because yes... there's almost always a line. That's just how it is here. It wasn't going to be a long wait but we always prefer laid back bar seating for lunch. They've expanded over the years to keep up with the crowds, and the fresh seafood display by the door lets you know exactly what they're so special for. Let's start with the fish croquetas because they're in a league of their own. Hands down the best in Miami. We also ordered cod fritters, and every bite tasted incredibly fresh. Before the entree, they bring out a small cup of soup, either fish or lobster bisque, just enough to warm you up before the main event. I went with Creole shrimp, and opted for salad and fried sweet plantains, while hubby ordered fried fish chunks with white rice and black beans. And let's be clear... you can't leave a Cuban restaurant without ordering black beans. There's something about theirs that tastes like they've been simmering in someone's vieja (that's grandmother) kitchen all day. Pure comfort feels. One thing I really appreciate is the portion sizes. They're generous without being over the top, so you leave satisfied instead of needing a nap in the parking lot. And of course, there's only one proper way to end meals like this: flan and a Cuban espresso. If you're visiting Miami, this is one of those places you simply have to experience.

For dessert we shared a Crema Catalana (Spanish custard) which was a bit small to be honest. Everything else was pretty 'solid' though - fresh, cooked well, no issues. Portions (except for the dessert) and prices were decent. Service was nothing special. We found ourselves looking for the server several times when we needed something. The restaurant has been remodeled and they did a nice job modernizing. You can't really go wrong eating at El Floridita. We'll be back.
