I have an older 4-Runner (2008-yes, she's old but look how pretty. I love her!). I had a leaky sunroof that triggered some electrical issues. My local Goodyear guys said the problem was out of their league and recommended this dealership. There was concern that the parts needed wouldn't be available anymore, but they found them and completed the work ahead of time (and at a cost slightly under what was quoted). We were just in the Cranberry area for a doctors appointment, and while in the area the battery died on our 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross. We went to a local auto parts and they tested the battery and it was dead. We were advised there was a Toyota dealership right down the street, great, we usually go to one by the airport! When we arrived at Bairel the customer service was less than stellar and we did not feel welcome. We were told that they could not give us a time of how long it would take them for the car to be looked at and it would not be fair to the other customers to make them wait for our issue. We are also Toyota customers? So that's confusing? Wouldn't look up to see if the issue was covered under warranty, no help. We had to call airport Toyota to get help and decide if we were going to drive there or just replace the battery ourselves. As two people who work in customer service I don't think the gentleman who work at Brewer realize that is the way you lose future customers. We will not ever recommend Baierl Toyota, or any Baierl dealer to anyone just because of this interaction. read more

What I suspected was a broken transmission was diagnosed by Baierl Toyota as a simple CV axle failure. To my relief it cost me 5% of what it would cost a new transmission. They will only do what is necessary. Such honesty is rare because shops typically up sell services. Four years ago I had an issue with my air conditioning thinking it was the compressor. To my surprise it was only a R134 refill. The a/c still blows cool. I would strongly recommend their service department. Great service! read more

Quoted me $93 to exchange an in cabin air filter that I had just replaced 2 days ago for $15. They also added a bunch of fluids to be replaced that I had recently done. They couldn't find the issue that I actually took the truck in for. Watch out! Looking to upcharge for unnecessary services! read more

Purchased a new Camry On 11/11/19. Noticed the brakes were making a pulsing/thumping noise. Took car in for service 11/27/19. They simply turned down the existing rear rotors rather than replacing with new rotors. The car had 552 miles on it at the time. (Since the car had 58 miles on it when I took delivery, I drove it less than 500 miles). I was told that this is Toyota's policy. By their own measurements, My brake rotors are now 5% to 7% thinner for the serviceable portion of the rotors. Thus 5% to 7% less life on the rotors. I can understand and accept this repair if the car had 10K or 20K miles, but not 500 to 600 miles. The original rotors were defective. I paid for a new car with new rotors not resurfaced or remanufactured parts. This leaves me to wonder about any future warranty issues and how they might be repaired. This was my first Toyota purchase and most likely my last. read more

Service seems to be going rapidly downhill. I had Two different cars in with them, a Lexus and my Prius. The Lexus went back 8 times, the fault still comes up, Yesterday the told me the problem I had (inverter cooling overheat) was over $ 4,000 repair. I researched it and talked to other mechanics who said it either the 12volt battery or the $55 pump. I changed the 12volt battery out and issue is gone. Going to change the pump just in case. I have lost all confidence with them. read more

Service department lacks just that, service. Car interior comes back dirty. Appointments are always behind. Typical upsell for unnecessary items. Staff of full of excuses and complaints to customers. A bit of management would likely go a long way. read more

I purchased my car, through Bairel Chevy and added the maintenance package and it's been nothing but problem, ur allowed to go to any Bairel Dealer but I just had my car at the Toyota dealer and they changed the oil in my car but couldn't change the filter because they didn't have the tool required to take the filter out of my 09 Cobalt and they wanted me to come back during the week sometime after the oil was contaminated and dirty after 40 miles to get the filter replaced in few days after the mechanic that could do would be back in, I paid a different guy so I knew it was done right, and I will never recommend Bairel for new/used cars or service nothing but loads of crap come from all of the dealers in the group. read more

On a hot day this summer the rearview mirror became a little loose on my Scion vehicle. While I was adjusting it the mirror actually fell off the windshield. I tried going to the local dealer in Monroeville since my mirror fell off just after dinner, but they told me to schedule an appointment for the next day. I usually go to Baierl Toyota in Cranberry since that's around where I work. I scheduled an appointment at Baierl Toyota and they were able to reattach my mirror simply by re-tightening it on without even needing any glue. It was a relatively easy job that didn't take much time and the service department definitely exceeded my expectations on this one. If you own a Toyota or are just looking for immaculate service where people meet you where you are and really listen, then this is the place for you.
