Don't miss the mini donuts and espresso at the snack shack. There's farm animals to see and amazing views of the valley. The maze took at least 30 minutes to complete, and the paths were a little narrow in some places. The dirt can get somewhat dusty so closed toed shoes would be the best option. We've definitely had more variety when we were in CA since it's bigger farms but we still walked away with chard, Tokyo Bekana, 2 types of lettuce, delicious beets, herbs and more. Super happy to have access to the fresh veggies for the remainder of the season and having it be an interactive family outing and learning for our 2.5yo daughter. Stephanie and Claire are amazing and have such great customer service. Due to the heatwave we brought our fruit from the Redmond market in and in our rush, we forgot it there and by the time we got back, someone took it on accident. Stephanie called all the members with fruit pickups to see who mistakenly took it. To our surprise they found the person the day later and we're getting our fruit! (Was super sad since I couldn't find cherries and stone fruit of the same caliber at PCC yesterday).

I totally understand and appreciate the no-spray, organic, regenerative farming approach (I literally studied environmental science and have worked on sustainable farms all over the country), but the whole operation felt disorganized. Not to mention that everything was extremely expensive, and the mandatory orientation is basically just a tour of all the bugs you'd find in your apples, which I get, but even I was like...yikes. We were able to find plenty of apples, but they cost us around $80 and the cider was $12 for a half gallon, which we actually had to strain once we got home because of the bugs we were finding in it. I spent a ton of time cutting around bugs and even had to throw several apples out while prepping apples for apple butter. It was delicious in the end, but I wouldn't have eaten these apples raw. The staff also seemed pretty miserable and unfriendly, which was disappointing. Overall: not worth the cost. :(

Tom (owner and operator) and his team had everything prepared and his list of vendors were super helpful! Tom has 3 meetings with you prior to the event to help make decisions and maintains the grounds beautifully. He provided everything we needed for a perfect day! Furniture, lighting, tent, bridal suite, sparklers and grooms room all included. But it is all outdoors - so we were lucky to have perfect weather! Tom is so calm, made sure the wedding day was perfect for us, everything went smoothly and he cleared everything for us after! Max 60 people and budget around $20,000 to have a wedding here just FYI, but definitely worth it! Extremely unique venue and hope to come again!

As part of getting married there, Tom handles all of the wedding details as the day-of planner, though his role goes so far beyond that. He brings his calm and skill to helping us pick vendors, coordinate details that we would have missed with those vendors, and then ensure the contracts look good. He had a schedule and process for ensuring everything was done by our wedding day, flexible enough to be curated to us. On the week of, he took on a lot of the finishing touches and last-second communication with the vendors so that we did not have to worry about. On the day of, he made sure all went smoothly and communicated with all of the vendors and guests where needed. All went smoothly and beautifully. We'd highly recommend Woodinville Lavender!

Definitely more low-key than some of the other bigger operations but so perfect for our family. There were goats, they were pumpkins, and there was a little mini pumpkin maze, which was just there . The vibe was exactly what we needed. We went on a rainy day, but managed to find a two hour window with a little bit of sunshine. Couldn't have been better! They've got all different types of pumpkins that you can either pick yourself or just choose off the shelves. There was also a craft fair with holiday crafts. Oh! And a really nice restroom!! Lots of parking too. My only suggestion might be to have a few places to sit down along the long path to the corn maze. I'm recovering from a back injury and that might've been a nice addition. It's early in the season and the pumpkins were fresh on the vine to cut (they provide shears) and all looked in perfect condition. They also have a large variety of carts, wagons and wheelbarrows to borrow and pull into the fields. Prices are vague and not clearly listed; it also didn't help that the staff was confused what to charge me for a white ghost pumpkin I picked from the field. The main barnyard area has a nice aesthetic with a photo op area and tractor kids can sit on. There's also a small goat area too, because you can't go wrong with animals. Other attractions included a corn maze that was a bit further, that we decided to skip. There are small children's areas within the barn including a mini tricycle track, corn pit, hay maze, but they honestly weren't memorable. Overall it's a smaller local pumpkin patch farm for a basic visit, but there's definitely potential to grow.

This week I walked home with pak choi, spearmint (cocktail anyone?!), asparagus, cauliflower, spinach and misome. I was excited about all of it but the misome really intrigued me (asian citrus-y green). My favorite part of 2020 with Skylight Farms was trying produce that was new to me but also finding a new appreciation for old favorites! I found a recipe that really showcased the misome and used mushrooms, onion, and garlic and I was a big fan! I'm very excited for what this season has in store and equally excited to continue to support this amazing family-owned farm! What a huge asset to our community!

My now husband and I could not say no to a venue that was 1) beautiful 2) great price 3) had a closet full of decor we could use and 4) responsive owners that answered any questions that came their way. The decor planning was relatively easy since we used pieces from the closet for our entrance and reception tables. Most folks said I didn't look stressed throughout the process, and I believe most of that stemmed from Gray Bridge making it incredibly simple for us to use their items. We just had to take care of personal pieces, such as the entrance sign or guestbook. The only downside to this place is the drive, which is roughly an hour away from Seattle (or 1.5X during traffic time). We overcame that by starting our ceremony earlier than usual (330PM) so we could have our guests enjoy the venue for roughly 7.5-8 hours. Another perk to this venue is they allow any vendors onsite. We weren't stuck with having to buy X cases of wines at wineries or sticking with food caterers that were not on par to the quality we were looking for. Overall, I highly recommend you checking out this place and booking ASAP since their dates fill up well a year in advance.

To start with, the venue is absolutely gorgeous (our wedding was in June). We wanted a beautiful PNW backdrop to show our out of state guests and that is definitely what we got - everyone complimented us on it later! Gray Bridge is set up in a thoughtful layout that makes wedding days flow smoothly while also providing smaller, intimate moments for photos, games, mingling, etc. Additionally, Stacy and Matt go above and beyond to make sure everything is on track and the venue is set up to each couple's specific wedding day vision. It took so much of the uncertainty out of wedding planning to know that we were in such good hands and that Stacy and Matt had great relationships with our vendors, which really goes a long way. Finally, all the decor available to borrow definitely kept costs (and stress) down! We definitely hope to be back here as guests someday :)
