We decided to give into the social media marketing to pet baby cows. :-) On Christmas Eve we visited Luckie Farms and enjoyed the experience. They have a growing vision and the animals are adorable. It is pricey and they do move you along pretty quickly. When we were visiting with the llamas the tour guide mentioned they were needing to hurry us but "not". They had umbrellas for the rain which was great. Be sure to wear shoes that can get dirty if you go in the rainy season. I look forward to watching what else they do. You can snap some social media worthy photos and make little memories.

    The lovely alpacas!

Just went today for my birthday (4/22/26) and could not recommend this place enough! In addition to highland cows they have alpacas, reindeer, donkeys, horses, bunnies, a pig... so many fun animals! It was the best being able to pet the baby highland cows! Tour guides were super knowledgeable and the whole staff was very friendly :) They do tours rain or shine, so dress for the weather and mud!

Highland cow Cuddles!!! Farm tours. Went to the pumpkin toss with girlfriends! Now they have their Holiday events. It's a must visit for the entire family..

This absolutely would've been 5 stars. Hands down. (keep reading) The entire tour & snuggle experience was so much fun. The tour guides Karissa & Eli were friendly, funny & knowledgeable. Everyone we met that worked there on the tour was awesome and seem to really enjoy their job. After our amazing experience (this was a gift from my friend for my birthday) we each spent more than $50 in the adorable gift shop & thanked Karissa again, for the wonderful day! We complimented every staff member on what a unique, fun, special time we had, even the cashier who rang us up. The actual farm itself is organized & clearly marked with white flags, lights & some signage asking guests to not go here or there. The parking lot entrance/exit, however, is a different story. It's a long gravel road which acts as the entrance and exit.... very narrow, and a bit of a bottleneck area right in front of the gift shop where the gravel road bends, (and leads you to an open lot to park wherever) I'll add, there is NO signage suggesting one direction yields to another, etc. It's nearly impossible for two SUV's to fit (one entering and one exiting) in that portion, specifically as well as the initial stretch of road as you're entering- which is the final stretch as you leave. As we attempted to exit, the car directly in front of me had stopped in front of the gift store to pick up a passenger that needed some extra assistance. (It is so narrow right here, everyone had to wait- whether they were entering or exiting) Staff were wonderful about assisting her. Everyone patiently waited & I even commented to my friend how kind it was that they were helping her into the vehicle. Two cars entering the farm were also patiently waiting on the other side of this car, facing our direction, to get all the way into the parking lot. A man, with a Luckie Farms t-shirt on was noticeably shaking his head in annoyance as this once stopped vehicle pulled forward but didn't understand where to go (again, VERY narrow entrance/exit, & cars were already off the street, trying to get in) Now that driver was faced with the task of squeeeeeezing alongside the cars waiting to come in- and for any hesitant driver this could be very intimidating. This man went up to the car that had required assistance for their passenger & (presumably) told them where to pull up & off to the right to try and make way for outbound + inbound vehicles. The driver did what she was told and was able to continue very slowly towards the exit-she pulled forward & off to the right more, so all cars could fit through the very tight space..... As we followed that car, with our windows down (we got so lucky with gorgeous weather) at a very slow crawl *less than 5mph* he was now on my drivers side, trying to advise incoming drivers how this would work- he looked right at me & shouted in an obviously irritated/angry tone "it would've been nice if you had waited back there!" while shaking his head. This was in front of the two (now three) cars waiting to continue forward, the car in front of us trying to leave, & ALL of the guests standing in front of the gift shop. My jaw dropped. Turns out, he's the owner. VERY disappointing to have just gotten done saying "this was one of the best days of my life! This was the best birthday gift!" to being shouted at- when there is NO SIGNAGE stating cars need to wait or alternate in/out, etc. My friend & I were both baffled at his tone, and still have no idea what he expected me to do?! Other than a very challenging parking lot & this situation , I cannot say enough great things about this experience! Definitely a birthday I won't forget. One of a kind experience, I would definitely go again! The gift shop has tons of cute items (including stunning fresh flowers and local honey!!) Rain or shine definitely wear boots or shoes you don't mind getting dirty. It is a farm, afterall!

Cute mini Highlands love to get brushed

Super fun. I'm gonna go back and take my grandkids this summer. I took my cousin as a surprise when he was here to visit from Mexico. He just loves Highland cows and luckie farms did not disappoint.

I took my daughter for a birthday surprise since she loves these cows!!! It was such a fun experience. I would recommend bringing a second set of shoes since it is definitely a working farm with the grounds being more for work boots. We enjoyed feeding all the animals and getting educated on their likes and dislikes. It was great to spend time with the babies for cuddle time but we had such a large crowd in our tour we had to wait our turn. Twenty minutes went really fast!!!

Amazing time today and Karissa gave us a fantastic tour! Highly recommend for all ages! We will be back again soon!

I have been to this farm 5 times as a customer, each time bringing different sets of friends with me. So up close and personal and just a great place to make memories and enjoy the experience. Owners are amazing and it's a little piece of heaven to me. If you haven't been make sure to go and check it out.

Super cute experience with the baby highland cows, the barn is nice and they have a large area to roam outside.

Truly an incredible spot for families with little ones, but also just enchanting for anyone who loves plants, decor, or cozy vibes. The plant selection is massive, the seasonal decor is stunning, and the gift shop?? Dangerous. I wanted one of everything. On top of all that, they have a café on site with drinks and food, which makes it way too easy to linger longer than planned (no regrets). Swanson's is one of those rare places that feels like a destination, not just a store. An absolute gem & I'm obsessed.

I ordered lavender rosemary latte but my coffee came as plain latte. The tall girl with short colorful hair is weird as if she has something against you! The food was even worse. My salad was full of wilted vegetables, and the bacon and potatoes were cold, hard, and clearly cooked hours ago. To top it off, the plates have deep grooves that make it impossible to eat--ketchup and egg yolks get stuck in the grooves. I genuinely worried about the material's safety. If you want to help people, start by serving fresh, safe food. I wouldn't be surprised if that salad was a health hazard. I just wasted over $30 for a very low quality food. Also, all the great looking food in the photos on yelp, on not served any longer.

The bar area is mellow and homey. We started off with a drink and took a few photos by the giant beautiful tree. The Christmas decor is perfect for photo ops and overall it felt like we were snowed in in a cozy cabin. I found a mancala board and was immediately brought back to younger days. My husband had never played so we spent a good amount of time enjoying our hot cocoa and playing. The donuts were being piped out constantly so we filled up on those and wow are they good! We stopped by the shop before leaving and I am loving the peach jalapeño jam we picked up! I was torn between a few different flavors and had to restrict myself to just one as I really wanted the creamed honey too. I'll have to make another trip because after just one week I am almost out! This jam is so good with cheese, on some sourdough, or just a great little topping. It has a tiny hint of space but nothing too crazy. I found a lot of great gems in the shop and many locally made products that you'll definitely want to try!
