So a round of beers and a very large order of fries was all we ordered. The local IPA was good and fries great - easily shared. Time to board - maybe not. This time an hour delay. Back to the same table for another round of beers and two orders of the cheese fries this time. Fries were good but perhaps too cheesy to share. By yourself or with family it would be fine. Time to board - nope. This time a 1.5 hour delay. Now it's another round and burgers. I abstained hoping I could still have dinner at home with my wife. Burgers looked great and were a hit. Some of the group had dined here before so they knew what to expect. Service was friendly and responsive even with a growing clientele who were becoming more agitated over the delays. I did notice some differences this time that are worth pointing out this go vs other trips here that I want to go over as a near lifelong fan: I searched online a bit but couldn't find any information on this but I believe they were recently bought by another company. There's a Chuck E Cheese style of characters plastered all over the place and that is new. When I say everywhere I mean EVERYWHERE. Signs, TVs the website EVERYWHERE. There seems to be a hefty investment in this new company's take trying to match the energy of a place for much younger people. It's probably fine but different than the place I enjoyed when I was 10. Kind of sad to see they sold. We were kind of disappointed to find that the arcade and ride area is extremely hot. The girl at the prize counter who helped explain the unlimited passes we bought better was pouring sweat. That's kind of concerning. It's like being in a warehouse in the summer and all she was doing was helping us with a card. She was super pleasant though. They have fans everywhere to help and cooling stations about but for an indoor amusement park it was very hot. The staff was absolutely amazing though. We are always blown away by how friendly the teenaged staff is in the arcade area. It's kind of shocking how such a pleasant and eager to help group of teenagers run the rides and prize store. I was not as friendly during my angsty teenaged years. The handful of adults in the arcade area working, I'm assuming the bosses, were extremely helpful too. Everyone had a great time and we felt like we were being catered to everywhere we went even though there was a big event going on. It's a dramatic difference between the employee interactions we have other places. We went on Saturday around 11:30am. Spent about $200 and were there for about 3 hours. It's pricier than we remember for sure but the service was great. My daughter won a gigantic stuffed racoon from the string cut game on her first try and it was the cherry on top of her small victory over summer reading classes. The AC is a problem though and I hope the new owners address it for our next visit. If not for us for the kind kids working there.

The restrooms have not been clean on our last couple of visits with my in-laws. They got rid of their soft serve ice cream machine, that was included in the price of the buffet, and replaced it with a $5.50 dippin dot like vending machine. The soda machines have been broken on our last 3 of visits, spread out over 6 months, so not sure they were ever fixed. The floors in the dining rooms and buffet were gross, without them being super busy. We saw a lot of workers standing around or walking around looking at their phones, so I guess they overstocked non-cleaning workers but didn't have enough janitorial staff. The food was stocked for the most part but they completely closed one of the stations that usually has pizza, so they had a smaller selection than normal. The movie theater has been closed for a while, the air conditioning was broken, and the trampoline area was closed on our visit. Several games were out of order. It feels like they're not putting any money back into the broken stuff to fix it. On the plus size, the worker at the front desk was helpful and nice today, the game counter worker was helpful, and the worker who bussed our table was nice. Just sad because this place used to be an inexpensive place for families to go spend an afternoon. I hope they can fix everything or close and open something comparable to how it used to be when it opened.

I felt I was repeatedly overlooked while other customers who arrived after me were greeted, acknowledged, and served immediately with a smile. The difference in treatment was noticeable and uncomfortable. Based on what I experienced, I felt discriminated against and left questioning whether I was being treated differently than other customers. No guest should leave feeling that way. This was not the level of hospitality I expected after traveling across the country and spending several days as a guest at your property. As a business owner and customer relations professional, I understand the importance of treating every customer with respect, professionalism, and fairness regardless of who they are. Unfortunately, this was not my experience. I believe management should be aware of this situation and review the level of customer service being provided. Every guest deserves to feel welcomed, valued, respected, and treated equally. (2/5) - Very disappointing experience. I expected much better from a resort and casino of this caliber.
