Would have put zero stars ! The grits were so runny they should have been served in a cup ! The over easy eggs were under cooked still had runny whites ! The Biscuit and gravy had a strange unknown flavor and little to no sausage and for two people my nephew having only biscuits and gravy and undercooked hash browns was $35.00 the coffee was great and the service was good . Nice location and the staff did well on the service. The food was good except the scrambled eggs on some of the plates were over cooked but they were busy. The sausage was my favorite with it tasting fresh and not processed. The food portions are great and the price was average to a hair higher than other breakfast places. read more

Three of us adults came in, one out of state March 1, Sunday morning 10 AM during the rush. Was greeted by the friendly staff and seated at a table. Waitress came over right away very friendly. Ordered water, came back with water we ordered omelettes, one other plate that came with fresh fruit, sliced tomatoes. Food came, fresh hot tasty and flavorful. Waitress came back to check on his numerous times. while we were there, it wasn't as busy, but we were getting ready to leave and there were people in line out at the entryway. This is diner food. Diner food is pretty basic and simple. It's comfort meals: meat and potatoes, eggs and hash browns, biscuits and gravy. Big Biscuit does diner food fine without any pretense beyond a marquee-style BISCUITS sign on one wall. You can find the same menu in city diners throughout the country at perhaps $1-2 less per entree. And, this diner is only open for breakfast and lunch. Meals didn't Wow! but they didn't disappoint either. I don't know if BB is trying to be more, but I'd say it's on par with Denny's and IHOP. Today I joined my son and his family at the Big Biscuit for his birthday brunch celebration. Mandy was our waitress and she was very nice and friendly. The restaurant was very clean and even the restroom which was surprisingly nice. I had a delicious vanilla cappuccino with the best tasting whip cream and a cherry and cream Pepsi. Big Biscuit is a good addition to Owasso and beats out Cracker Barrel, hands down! They have a waitlist you can join online and a wide variety of menu items. Solid three. Totally a BIG breakfast place. We have friends that have raved about it and how they have to stand in line to get a table every weekend. We went to try it on a very non-busy early weekday morning. Staff was friendly and I like the interior (totally could not tell it had once been a McAlisters). I got the Mayberry (one biscuit with gravy, hashbrowns and a sausage and cheese omelet)--around $12. The Hubs got a half order of biscuits and gravy (around $6). My advice, go with the half order. The omelet was not worth the extra money. Otherwise, our plates were the same. Omelet was overdone. Coffee was good and they have a few specialty coffee drinks on the menu. The biscuits and gravy here rank up there in the top 3 for me! Amazingly good. My son had the French toast and loved it. It was busy and lively. Not a quiet place but not loud either. The service was fast and very friendly. I noticed that many of the servers were either high school age and college age - and all that I observed and interacted with were polite, helpful, and generally pleasant! No pictures because we had an incident with my mother in law and had to leave suddenly. She felt ill before we even ordered so just asked us to box it all up and take it to her house. The staff was very helpful and just rolled with it. Food was good but we were all concerned for my MIL so I didn't get pictures. They took over the McAlisters location in across from the high school so it's convenient to everything in Owasso. Can't wait to go back and try some hot, fresh food! read more

The best southern food I've had where I didn't feel stuffed and miserable. The food was hand-crafted to perfection. The biscuits were some of best, if not the best I've ever eaten. The chicken was juicy and very flavorful, and to top it off, amazing gravy. I took my teenage nieces to breakfast today and nobody had anything on their plate when we left. I was honestly mad at the 2 slices of overcooked bacon they served on the BLT after the menu said it was "piled high." I ordered another side of bacon, a side of mayo, and a side of lettuce and scraped off all the shredded cheese to make it taste a little better and not have to wait for a remake Total price for the worst BLT ever? $19.
