We had a group of nine senior ladies. We got a table immediately even though they were very busy. Hailey was our waitress and did an excellent job. That many ladies, all talking at once is a little nerve racking but we all were able to receive our drinks and she did an excellent job of just hearing us and answering all our questions. Our appetizers were excellent and our food was very good. Several of us shared an order of something. There was no tip added on for having a large group (rare). Hailey deserved a very good tip and hopefully our ladies did so (everyone on a separate ticket). I know I did. I would not want to wait on our group! My wife and I frequent Texas Roadhouse at least twice a month. However it's a twenty mile drive for us. We were overjoyed when we learned that a Texas Roadhouse was coming to Owasso. We like to give a new restaurant some time to get over the learning curve before we give it a try. The Owasso restaurant has now been in business for four weeks. It's time to try them out. To avoid the crowds, we went on Wednesday when they open at four o'clock. When we arrived the parking lot was already full. However we were quickly seated. The server promptly took our order. I ordered Cheese fries as an appetizer, Caesar salad, Bone in ribeye medium rare with baked potato . My wife ordered house salad, filet steak medium with baked potato. The rolls with butter were fresh and tasty. Up to this point everything met my expectations. However my expectations started to fall apart. We are accustomed to receiving our appetizer within about five minutes, followed by salad about ten minutes later and finally our dinner. However after about thirty minutes we received our salad, appetizer and dinner at the same time. My steak was cooked medium, not medium rare, my wife's steak had to be sent back because it was rare not medium as ordered. We had to ask for our drinks to be refilled. I don't like to have negative things to say. And I look at this as constructive criticism. If a problem is not identified, the problem won't be resolved. In defense of our waiter. We noticed that he had several tables in different areas of the restaurant. And appeared to be very busy. Will we return? Absolutely!! read more

I can honestly say that I've never had a bad experience at Texas Roadhouse... Which is a huge compliment! You can certainly set your expectations each time you eat here. The quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff is great. The ambience is rustic and classic. They always cook my steaks to just the right temp, and of course, the rolls are fantastic, and if you happen to get an appetizer, you can't go wrong with the Cactus Blossom! There are two things I have to mention: 1) The wait time can be excessively long. I am really not sure how to get around this, but the place is always packed. Plan on waiting an hour or more, depending on when you get there. 2) Considering the size of the crowds of people in the restaurant, I believe they should have much larger bathrooms. We met friends for an early dinner on a Saturday evening. They called ahead to put our names in, but the place was so slammed we still waited over an hour and a half for a table. That's the only downside to eating at any Texas Roadhouse though. Other than that, the food was good, the orders came out pretty quickly and accurately, the service was friendly and attentive, and we had a nice time! We arrived right when they opened on a Thursday afternoon 4pm. I brought my son for a birthday dinner, right after school and we were hungry! We decided on the special for 2 for 46$. It included an appetizer to share and 2 entrees. It was so much food that we had a ton of leftovers. The fried onion blossom, rolls, sirloin steak and shrimp entrees were so good and the big portions filled us up quick. We took home loaded fries, my steak, and a loaded baked potato. My son loves eating here and now I can see why. Our server was helpful and friendly too. I will be back. When we left at 5:00pm there was a pretty good sized group waiting to eat. I have never had anything bad to say about Texas Roadhouse. On this day though Mothers Day it was not good. My son took me to dinner and I ordered a steak the Dallas Filet my absolute favorite. Ordered it medium it came out way over cooked. I sent it back to get my medium steak. It was busy so it took a while but by the time they corrected it everyone was done eating at our table so I loaded it up to take home. Kind of messed up the dinner. They did correct it, but I was very disappointed that I didn't get to really have the dinner with my kid and grandson. I'm not sure what could have been done differently and I will go back cause I love them but just felt sad about the experience. I think they owed my son his money back just because of the problem that wasn't our fault. Hope everyone had a Happy Mothers Day and didn't experience the issues we had. read more

We wanted to wait to eat here since they just opened in Dec '23. We pass by here frequently and there really isn't a day or time that the parking lot is not packed. So we decided to do an online order and pick it up to go. The Customer Pickup parking in the backside and rather difficult to get into and out of. Spaces are tight! We love the TRH in Tulsa and were hoping this one would be the same. Alas, it was not. The food was ok, but not worth the prices charged. All the side dishes & rolls are excellent! It was the meat that I had a problem with. I ordered Prime Rib. Which usually has some fat around the outside. But the cut I received was 30% fat. That's not acceptable. Husband got rib eye. This was the second time we tried this new location. The first time I ate the pork chops and they were great! This time, I tried their chicken fried sirloin, and well...the breading was so salty it was inedible. I don't say that lightly either, I can deal with salt...but this was way too much. Even with the gravy and a mouthful of mashed potatoes, it was still far too much salt; I didn't even eat 1/4 of the steak. I would have sent it back, but it had already taken quite some time to get our food, and we needed to be home by a specific time. I am also NOT a fan of allowing people to get on a wait list before they even show up. Either take reservations or do first come first served. Wow, Texas Roadhouse Owasso hit a home run on their opening day. Food was spot-on, service was great, and the opening day excitement and ambiance was amazing. Not a face in the place that wasn't wearing a smile - both customers and employees. If the initial vibes of the place can be maintained, Owasso is gonna have a lot of fun with this place. Our server, Kensie, and manager, Savannah, couldn't have been any nicer. For those who may be new to Texas Roadhouse, it is probably offers the most consistent quality of any of the steakhouse chains. What you see is what you get, regardless of the location - quality food at reasonable prices and great service, with a fun, casual atmosphere. Not fancy, but just right for most folks. This one is nowhere close to the one on 71st street in Tulsa. The services is about the same, but food quality is so much worse. The fatty content of the food is so much more. My wife gets the ribs, and they're much better in Tulsa, here she doesn't like them. So we will go Tulsa when we want food. We love it there. read more

We went on the second day that it was open! We had a great server who got us everything we needed in great time! The prices were really good for the amount of food we got. Plus the ROLLS were amazing and so was the rest of the food. We knew there was going to be a wait since they are SO popular right now, we had a fun time playing corn hole outside. The worst meal I've ever eaten at a Texas Roadhouse. We had 3 people in our party. We all ordered ribeyes. All three of them were very thin, overcooked, and gristly. They had no flavor whatsoever. One person ordered a house salad; the ranch dressing that came with it was basically just pure mayonnaise. Two of us had steak fries with our order; they were cold. We have ordered a to go order several times since they opened. We had food missing 2 different times. I called tonight to talk to a manager and waited 20 mins. The resolution was a voucher that did not cover the missing food. The food we did receive was poor quality. The rolls were hard and stale, the salad was wilted and brown. I have visited this location twice with a large group and have not had a good experience either time. The most recent was a party of 12 that was sat at a 8 top booth/table. We were patiently waiting to be given a second booth as we ordered our food. When ordering, we specifically asked that a main dish salad be served first as my mother had to leave early. 45 to 50 minutes after placing that order, my mothers salad arrived after all salads and other main dishes were served and she was leaving. The manager explained that the salad didn't come out first because they had to cook the chicken. When an ajoining booth became available, we had to ask several times and management adamately refused to allow us to extend our seating space to the closest booth and pushed 4 of our family members to a booth in another servers section 3 booths away. Our server did her best to accomodate the poor situation but was ultimately robbed of a great tip and a good review by her manager. As we left, there was an attempt again to have a conversation with the manager who refused to understand our frustration and continued to spew technical hostess processes and blamed the hostesses on duty for seating choices. (Keeping in mind this all began on a Tuesday evening at 5:30 pm.) Our family remained calm during the conversation and it ended when the manager told us she would no longer discuss the issue and told us to leave. I do not and will not recommend a large party attempt to visit this location. Management does not have the training and experience on giving good customer service to accomodate a large party of 8+. I got the impression the specific manager we dealt with thought we had kicked her dog, cut her off in traffic or slept with her husband. There is never a good reason to take your bad day out on paying customers and your wait staff that just want to have a good dinner service. read more
