With all the effort (and money) we've put into the pool, there have been very few days where it has been totally clear. Usually there's a slight cloudiness or if we leave it a few days, the algae returns. I finally got tired of this back-and-forth and called Chris at Swim Well Pool Company. I should've called him at the beginning of summer. He came out immediately, tested the water, checked out our equipment and spent a very long time explaining what the issue could be. He adjusted our settings and showed us the best way to filter (the pool builder was really bad and never explained any of the settings or equipment to us). I wish I had taken before pictures. When Chris first came over the water was very cloudy. He spent the first day checking everything out, redoing our settings and telling us how long to let the filter run. On the second day there wasn't much of a change. We discussed getting a new pump, because there are much more efficient ones. We discussed a possible need to partially drain the pool-not an ideal solution during a drought. But, he said to let him try one more thing before we go to that expense. He added some combination of pool algicide/clarifier. He said it was his own secret recipe. By the next morning our pool looked like it hadn't looked in years. I took pictures, but they don't really do it justice with the shadowing. Two weeks later, it's still crystal clear. Chris came to our home 3 days in a row. He did a lot of work and charged a very reasonable price. I'd definitely call Chris for any pool issues in the future.

Pristine Pools have had my business for over a year now and I can tell you that my experience with their services has been far superior than anything I've experienced in the past. They always do and excellent job with their weekly service, calling attention to any maintenance issues that might arise, and always keep everything running perfectly and keeping my pool sparkling clean. In the past I just accepted mediocrity and just figured checking the chemistry and adjusting the water accordingly, was all I should expect. Not with Pristine. Diego always makes sure I'm taken care of and makes it right if something is missed. I was recently considering buying a new pool sweep because mine wasn't doing a very good job. Beyond base pricing (and chlorine), they bill for most necessary chemicals separately. This happens multiple times a month so expect an extra $35-$70 on your bill. Don't forget required filter cleanings at an exorbitant price. I would look around for a place that won't nickel and dime you. Also, $220 a month for a service (mid level package) that does not even clean leaves from the pool is outrageous.
