He told me it was likely the check valve, required a $250 deposit, and said they would replace the part during the visit with the deposit applied toward the repair. After I followed up, Evan was rude and said they couldn't repair the leak--based on the same information I had provided before the appointment. Also, we had a pool service for several years and problems that persisted during those years are gone now thanks to Prime Pools. They replaced the salt cell, a valve, the pump, and a faulty GFCI outlet. Each item was bid separately, so we could fix any or all problems. After the claim was assigned, Luke never attempted to contact me to schedule service. I left multiple messages, and even my warranty company tried reaching him with no response. Three days later I finally managed to speak with him briefly (about three minutes) to explain the issue. He asked me to send photos, which I did that same evening. He told me he might stop by the next day, but after that conversation he completely disappeared. No follow-up, no scheduling, and no response to further messages. It has now been over a week with zero communication. If you're running a service business, basic communication and reliability should be the minimum. Ignoring both the customer and the warranty company is unacceptable. I'm honestly surprised my homeowner's warranty company uses this contractor. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Luke's Pool Service.

We give Aqua Gunite 5 stars from start to finish of our pool repair. We had a major leak in our…read morepool. There was a crack all along the deep end of the pool. The plaster had to be removed from the entire pool. The leak in the skimmer had to be repaired. They had to place new rebar and gunite in the crack as well as rebuilding the steps. They replaced the plumbing as well. The owner checked on our pool during the process. His son, Jose, who is cordial and professional and super knowledgeable of all aspects of pool repair, responded immediately to texts and emails. There were several crews to work on the different phases of the project. They were all polite and wanted the best outcome for their part in the process.
