I've been using Davidson Pools for over 5 years now, and they're honestly the best. We manage an apartment complex with one pool and two hot tubs, and Jason always makes sure everything is working perfectly. He's the guy who comes out to replace pumps, clean the filters, and just keep everything in top shape. He's super reliable and always does a great job. We don't have to worry about anything breaking down because he catches problems before they get worse. So we hired a new pool service and they checked all our equipment and filter, etc and said the fault was the last pool company (Davidson Pools), and that there was no reason our pool should have gotten so bad. Jason tried to say we had a faulty system or that it was our equipment which was a blatant lie and just another excuse for very poor service. Jason never even came out to check on why our pool was declining. Now we have a huge swampy mess to clean up. I wish I could get our money back :-( read more

Improper diagnosis of Faulty sweeper. He said it was a booster pump and charged me $700 to replace it. It did not cure the problem. Then it was the sweeper needed repair .THREE MONTHS LATER THE SWEEPER STILL IS NOT WORKING AND THE OWNER IS HARD TO REACH. Quality of service is very low read more

We hired Davidson Pools for two things: weekly pool maintenance service and to resolve a three-month-old problem with nightly water loss in our spa. His weekly service was sketchy at best, and he was unable to diagnose or fix the spa issue. He did hire a leak detection inspection that cost $750 but found no leak and he seemed to throw in the towel after that. Jason did not seem particularly concerned about the spa problem and his communication with us was spotty. In his latest maintenance visit, he failed to clean the raccoon prints off the pool wall. Jason Davidson has been our pool service guy since before I started working here. I am the maintenance person for a 150 unit senior mobile home park. We have a large community pool. Last year when we were about to have our county inspection Jason came out after hours AND on Saturday to make sure everything was up to snuff. (new inspector was a bit over the top) Jason always keeps our pool and hot tub up to the highest standards. This month we had our pool replastered. It's basically brand new. When the pool was filled our pump motor gave up the ghost. (Jason had told us many times that it was old and could quit anytime, but previous management company would rather wait till it died.) Sorry to say, but not good. They dont show up, owner says he comes, however, he doesn't, sends someone else, but they dont come weekly , in fact weeks go by, no one shows up. So many different excuses. Also, would send me bills, saying past due, when I contacted, asked why no one coming? Just said you will have late fees. I pay on time. Had to give him dates checks cleared, more. He sends out past due notices before checking that all paid. He was told to contact me with any repair cost as I have home warranty. He didnt. Just billed me. So much more. He would bill for filter cleaning, but didnt clean, but charged me high rate for new filters. Filters when cleaned should last up to 5 years. I found Jason Davidson of Davidson Pools via Thumbtack. He was very responsive and gave the best quote. He came over to confirm the estimate on a day that was completely inconvenient for him, and also came to do the work on a weekend day which was better for me. He explained the heater installation he did, was knowledgeable about filter cleaning (& handled that for us too), and gave us tips for future projects (as well as for the longevity/maintenance of the equipment).
