The owner is gregarious, welcoming, friendly, engaging and attentive. The menu offers a mix of bbq pork, brisket, chicken in various forms, salads and homemade deserts. Our food came out quickly. The owner checked on us. The cole slaw is phenomenal - creamy, thick with lots of flavor and not too sweet. The owner's wife makes the cole slaw. Maybe best I've had. I ordered the pork tips because I didn't want bread. The tips are flavorful but you have to be willing to eat around the fat and bones. I loved the tips with the North Carolina mustard sauce. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich. There was a lot of meat on the sandwich and the roll was fresh. The bbq sauces are phenomenal. My husband loved the spicy hot sauce. The restaurant is decorated in western bbq theme. The tables are clean and stocked with sauces and paper towels. There are also a couple picnic tables outside if you want to eat with your dog.
