I stopped in for dessert after eating next door and was greeted warmly by the friendly woman and her colorful ice cream shop. There were bright colors everywhere, the chairs, the walls, even the rugs. The atmosphere was very comfortable looking, very welcoming. Their menu on the walls and signs is really extensive. However I ordered just a plain old vanilla shake with whipped cream without the cherry. It was super yummy. It really hit the spot for me. They do have a drive through window if you are in a hurry. I had some time to kill when in Mooresville recently and decided to stop in for some ice cream. They had a very nice selection of ice cream that was fairly unique with some unusual combinations. My daughter decided to get superman ice cream which she loved and mine was a banana peanut bitter chocolate mix that was delicious. Very prompt service and plenty of places to sit inside and enjoy your ice cream. Of note they close at around 8 PM and also offer boba tea which I hopefully will try next time I visit. read more

Love this local place. They hand dip Hershey's ice cream. They also have boba, protein shakes, sundaes and all the things. Staff are super nice, the shop is clean and inviting. They have a couple fun themed rooms and board games for families to hang out, have some treats, and have a good time. Highly recommend it. read more

I'm going to have to return soon. I was in a bit of a hurry and when I walked in, the menu board listed Root Beer Float and I honestly didn't look any farther. The gal behind the counter immediately asked if I wanted to go with the traditional vanilla ice cream and then began scooping the frozen treat into the cup. A&W Root Beer was then opened and poured over the ice cream for that not so pretty foam that tastes delicious. She even gave me the rest of the can of soda to go with the dessert. The space is easy to spot from the highway, but requires turning into the shopping center (the one with the movie theater) and then driving behind the frontage buildings to about midway down the row. An alley area leads passed the outdoor seating (located underneath a former drive through area for a bank) to the parking and entrance. Inside, there is a party room on the right and a play room on the left of the entrance. Beyond those, there is dining on the left and the order counter on the right where they have lots of barrels of ice cream and a variety of other sweets. Service was fast and friendly and before long, I was out the door. I'll have to go after lunch the next time so that I take more time to see what else they have available. Review #2722 read more

Gem in Mooresville across the highway from Gray Brothers Cafeteria. Family owned ice parlor with a nostalgic feel. Hand dipped ice cream, soba tea, milk shakes and vegan ice cream and shake options! They have a drive-through but it's the same service as inside so don't expect to get in and out quick. But it is worth the wait! There is a small outside seating area, and there is plenty of seating inside. Extremely kid friendly! Definitely worth the stop! read more

This is a nice little ice cream shop. The camo ice cream had toasted s'mores and peanut butter swirls in it. I would definitely order that again with the waffle cone. You could sample any ice cream you choose. I did notice some of the ice cream containers were empty. About 3 of them. I don't know but when you see it's empty take it out and put a new one in. You want to have all the ice creams available that are displayed. Another thing is one of the employees was eating a bowl of ice cream by the register. If it was me I wouldn't eat in front of the customers and that close to other patrons ice cream. I'm sure on their break then they could get ice cream and sit at a table like everyone else. You just don't see that very often where an employee is eating while your literally checking out!!! I hope the owner sees this because it is a a nice place, but I knocked it down one star because of it. read more

I had to go out from Plainfield to Mooresville to pick up a prescription. I was leaving and was craving something sweet. I pulled up the app, and in the center right next to me was this Ice cream shop that has received great reviews. Due to the virus you can't go inside, but they do have a drive thru. This must have been an old bank building. On the window is listed ober 30 flavors, and at least 20 toppings. I asked the gal where do they get their ice cream, she said; "Hersey " like the Hersey chocolate bar. Oh my yummy! I got the large which is really large the rest went in my freezer when I got back home. The cost was $12.96, and that filled up about 6-7 different flavor scoops. I was very happy they also had run raisin which is hard to find, 3 sudden kinda of banana ice cream, sorbet, coffee, chocolate, rasberry chocolate chunk, and other flavors. I got a punch card, because I will make the drive back over there. The staff was wearing their face mask. I wish there was a way to see the flavor like in a board so when you are waiting in line you know what you might want, by the time you get to the window. read more

The service can be painstakingly slow, not because the young servers arent industrious, but because they simply are understaffed. I've been twice when there is only person behind the counter and it just isn't enough. The ice cream is Hershey's brand and it's tasty. Such good ice cream! They also had some hilarious signs. I had llamalicious (cake batter with icing swirl), my nephew had strawberry, and my brother in law had one of the no sugar added flavors and all of them were delicious. Ice cream is just ok you can get the same quality in the grocery aisle and it's much cheaper. The professionalism of the staff is why I've given only two stars. There was plenty to be done while everyone was sitting in the back on their phones. And the young man that works there kept eating sample spoons of ice cream one after another. There was also a little girl there who must have been the daughter of a staff member bc she kept running behind the counter and all around the siding area running into us multiple times.
