i go here all the time I went her a couple days ago with my girlfriend but the service was horrible genuinely terrible, so I didn't tip and I am not a type of person to not tip but. so I come back and then the same server comes up to us and ask why we didn't last time and I thought she just wanted to know. but then she started to go on for 10 minutes about how if we don't have money don't come. and then she say all she will do is let us take it to go. definitely do not come here and susih was warm and tasted like it was left out. read more

Yummy Thai food in Florida!!! We're from up north where there's amazing Asian food and we know it's very hard to find in the south. I got the chicken pad Thai and it's my second favorite ever! It's basically all I get when my husband wants Thai or sushi and even he impressed with the flavor! He got a sushi dish and didn't love it but it wasn't bad either - he has high standards lol He got the pad krapow with pork and loved it though! He's always asking for extra veggies but didn't have to here so that's a big plus for him. We will definitely go back the next time we're in town! read more

Like Isles G's review, if you think this is good Thai, you poor thing. Actually, the Thai was much better than the sushi. My husband, who has eaten sushi all over the world for the last 50 years said it was the worst he's ever had. It really did taste like it came from Publix. Everything was flavorless, mushy, dry, or overcooked (The dumplings were rubbery balls!). The only reason I gave this 2 stars was because the service was very good and the place was clean. read more

This Thai fusion restaurant is excellent! Wait staff is amazing- punctual with service and friendly along with great knowledge of the menu. Sushi is sooooo fresh and presentation is beautiful! Excellent menu and food. Prices are reasonable. Service was top notch. My wife and I were there with 2 other couples. 1st time. Everyone had something different for appetizers and dinners. All were very pleased with the food. It is a small restaurant with limited parking and not easy to find in the dark even though it's on a main road. Best landmark is Bada Bings next door--which is also a great spot for pizza and Italian dishes. read more

Absolutely fantastic, possibly the best restaurant in Venice currently. They clearly care very much about food quality and presentation, and their portions and quality are great, especially given their pricing. Their lunch sashimi plate (currently ~$14) is absolutely beautifully plated over ice and seashells, and has a generous portion of freshly cut sashimi. Also at lunch, they offer really cool combinations of Thai dishes and sushi rolls that make for a really unique pairing. At dinner, their drinks are very reasonably priced, and they make sushi fresh to order---and remarkably quickly, given how busy they can get at night. I am absolutely blown away by the amount of care and detail put into everything here, from the food to the plating. read more

What a gem. The service here was absolutely fantastic and the food was delicious. The drunken noodles are usually spicy, but they generously modified it for me taking out the chili for my allergy needs with no problem. The sauce was sweet and tangy (so normally sweet, tangy and spicy). The noodles were perfectly cooked and it was choked full of veggies and shrimp. Now for the piece de resistance. The sushi. So fresh, well prepared, and beautiful presentation. The tuna tower was an absolute delight. Well seasoned and a fantastic texture. I will be craving those wonton chips for a while. The healthy roll was very delicious and a light option for anyone looking for the fresh fish without the heaviness of rice. The two spicy rolls my other half ordered offered that punch he's usually complaining he can't find other places. They also have some fun interesting sake offerings like mango, one that was similar to Korean rice wine and a very pleasant stronger one that was a nice way to end the meal. The mango one is more of a thick smoothie, very interesting texture and mouth feel. Would recommend for a dessert option. Overall a fantastic experience and we will definitely be back. One note, be careful of parking, if you end up in the parking lot in front of the pizza place next door they are very serious about towing non customers. So just be advised. read more

Looking through Yelp, I found this little restaurant with great reviews. I'm so glad I decided to order even if it was right before their closing for lunch! The lunch special pick 2 is such a great option especially for people like me that like variety in their meals. I ordered chicken pad thai with a shrimp tempura roll ... and it also comes with a choice of miso soup or salad! All for about $13 ... you can't beat that! Both were delicious and it was a good portion of the pad thai too. If you're like me and get lunch late, they have tables outside where you can sit and have your meal even after they close. This is our go-to Thai spot in the area. The service is friendly and their takeout is efficient and takes some covid precautions. They have many vegan and gf options, but be warned: the pad thai is made with fish sauce! Our favorites are the fresh rolls (crispy salad rolls with sweet creamy peanut dipping sauce), vegetable pad woon sen (glass noodles with lots of veggies in a sweet brown sauce), and tofu ginger stir fry (sweet and oily ginger sauce with julienned ginger throughout the veggies and tofu). We also recently tried their veggie roll and it was the best veggie roll I've ever had, plus it was presented very nicely for takeout! It was a big roll so with some garnishes so it was worth the $9. I am taking a star off for a couple of reasons. We were disappointed by the portions and food quality the one time we ordered the lunch special. The food seemed stale like it had been sitting for a while even though we had just ordered it. Also, they have messed up our orders a few times, which is understandable... but we have been ordering from them for a year now and they know my allergies (though I still put it in the order under every applicable dish) and they still recently gave me a dish with onions, which I am allergic to, even though everything else was made without onions. I just don't understand the oversight there. However, they always handle these issues well, apologize, and give a refund. I appreciate this so they still remain on our list of favorites in the area. read more

What a hidden gem!!! The service was very good, the restaurant has moved the tables all to be socially distant at 6 feet apart. I had the chefs selection sashimi which was OUTSTANDING!!! The presentation was stunning and all the fish tasted very fresh, salmon and yellowtail were my favorites. The parking lot here is it's only downfall, extremely small lot and spots are reserved for surrounding stores. read more

These are tough times. I recently moved here and wanted sushi. My parents have been here for 15 years now, but this is my first foray into the sushi scene on Florida's gulf coast. For Baiyoke, I have done takeout a few times for lunch. It's not bad. It's not great. Let me explain... First, it's punctual. Just like Spinal Tap. I've never waited for my order to be ready for pickup. I live two miles away - it's always ready when I get there. After that... I'm still trying to negotiate the lacking lunch sushi options here but Baiyoke is at least trying. The sushi plate offers a great variety of fish, but not a variety of great fish. The salmon has always seemed thawed from frozen. The snapper and mackerel are overwhelmed with fried onion. The roe topping is great but with the savory onion it's just too much. The sweetness of fresh fish is lost and I'm guessing it's because the fish isn't so fresh. It's a weird spot. There's another sushi place up the road in Venice that cuts their sashimi as thin as deli meat. So the bar isn't high. But after a few lunches - it's just not compelling enough to make a staple of. Maybe their other Thai dishes are solid - but I can't commend their sushi bar. read more

Honestly the inside of this place is super cute, and clean. It's just the pad Thai is honestly whack. The noddles are cooked well but it's covered in a peanut Goop/paste. That basically lines the whole bottoms of the to-go box. Blah. It was greasy. I've had microwaved ramen noodles in a cup that tasted better. Also why do you leave the shell on the shrimp. Such a pain when you're trying to eat and you have to stick you fingers in a peanut paste to remove a shell from the shrimp. Also the pork dumplings had more of a egg roll vibe. I take it fried dumplings are deep fried for them as i was expecting the usual pan fried dumplings. Overal it was about $22 for a small thing of pad Thai with paste and below average 5 dumplings. I'll stick to ramen noodles or Campbell's chicken noodle soup next time. read more

I had the seafood wide rice noodle dish and my wife had the vegetarian version but tasty and fresh beware though if you ask for it extra spicy you better be able to handle it. Thought we'd try something different for Thai takeout and glad we did here - ordering was easy and they do give a few options for spicy level - we opted for II and was just right . Got some spring rolls - you get four - with a dipping sauce . Well made, tight. Had the 'ginger' which has a nice mix of veggies to which I added scallops - I'd get it again . They offer brown or white rice or noodles - a lot of places don't do that . We also got their green curry with shrimp and that was equally terrific . Didn't try their Japanese options but based on the Thai wouldn't hesitate - a nice local option with quick service . read more

Literally made an account to review this place, it was THAT good. Don't be scared away by the tiny parking lot, this place is probably the best Thai food and sushi in Florida at least. Super quick service despite being dinner rush, amazing sushi and sashimi presentation and out of this world fresh fish.
