After about another half hour the meal was ready. Now in their defense, they had atleast 4 customers waiting ahead of me and only two staff members. Now to the food..... The food was good, but a little on the pricey side. I ordered the classic Pad Kra Pao. I was a little disappointed that the egg wasn't prepared in the crispy fried egg (Kai Dao) style. But while it wasn't amazing, it was one of the better ones I've eaten. Also, the spring rolls were pretty good. I ordered the food to-go. I have loved spicy Thai food since my first time at Sukothai Tampa in 1985. Have not been impressed since then. Now comes this little to-go Thai in the Big Lots shopping center who blew me away with the their Garlic/Black Pepper chicken. Only ask for medium spicy, seriously. Wife got spicy and she was on fire. Chicken showed sear marks and sauce was spot on. Broccoli perfect. When I say it was the best Thai I have had in years, I am talking Venice, Englewood, New Orleans, Atlanta and all points in between. I misunderstood this place was a take-out place in an earlier review now deleted. they do have 2-3 outdoor tables that aren't visible from the street, however. tonight we ordered. it was done exactly on time if not early. hot and fresh. the staff while not effusive (tough to be effusive when you're a takeout joint) was pleasant and totally efficient. we bought tofu drunken noodles, spring rolls, tom yum soup and pad kia pao with chicken. this food was thoughtfully tasty. we could taste the ginger - and forgive me but every dish was chock full of umami. i've had a lot of tom yum and this was spicy with huge chunks of tofu and firm mushrooms. the broth was nuanced. gingery. very flavorful. the drunken noodles was also deeply flavorful - fat noodles drenched in a almost sticky but not sauce. the lightly firmly fried tofu in this dish was greatly appreciated and perfect the pao meat was seasoned really well with a sweetness that went great with the rice. clumps of meat. great texture. the fried egg was nearly runny and good - and a surprise. these were the fattest spring rolls i've ever had served with a peanut sauce that didn't fall too hard as peanut butter. it was thinner in a really good way. anyway - fantastic food. i'd get it again for sure - and will. sorry for the original, anemic review!!!! read more

My son and his wife are visiting so we took them to Thai 2 Go in Englewood. They loved the food. My son got drunken noodles and said they were the best he's ever had and he's had them from many different places. My daughter-in-law had Red Curry with just the perfect amount of spicy to it. The place is clean, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The food- always fresh and delicious. I ordered the crispy spring rolls which were hot and crisp with a side of sweet and sour sauce for dipping. I also decided to try Tom Kah soup with veggies, and the coconut milk broth was delicious. Just the perfect amount of heat, and a kick of lime. My main was broccoli and tofu, with tasty garlic sauce, crisp tofu pieces, and tender crisp broccoli and carrots. My mom ordered the chicken and cashew nuts which she thoroughly enjoyed. I also appreciate the fact that all of the to-go packaging is environmentally friendly. I had the Pad Kra Pao beef, easy on spice. It was crazy good, a lot of flavor and the right amount of heat. The food was excellent. I ordered soup which was 32 oz, enough for 2-3. A stir fried beef over salad and spring rolls. They were all good. There is an option on many dishes for spice level.
