I am so very thankful to Eddie and his team for taking such good care of my Honda and my pocket. I haven't done a major maintenance to my vehicle, ever, and i've had it since 2019. I have taken it to the dealership for minor repairs, and local shops for oil changes - but nothig more. I brought my car to Eddie yesterday, no appointment, and although he is super swamped he agrees to take a look at the car. He finds that my back tires are severely worn (and i mean SEVERELY! i drive alot), the shocks are heavily damaged, and the belt is broken. Although they are swamped, he accomodates the repair because he doesn't want me to continue to drive like that. He was concerned for my safety. He even went as far as taking my car to M&M tires so they could replace my back tires, and see if the car needs an alignment. Fortunately it didn't, but he was able to get me brand new tires at a very good price. 5 hours later he called me to tell me my car was ready. As soon as i drove off the lot, i could feel the difference in my car. I no longer hear the loud noises i was hearing and it is driving so smooth. I am very thankful to have been referred to Eddie at Baja Auto Electric. He is someone i highly recommend and trust. He actually cares, he is not just looking to make an easy dollar like other bodyshops. And the pricing was reasonable and affordable. I am happy i finally found a reliable and trustworthy mechanic. If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would. This establishment takes no responsibility for their mistakes. Their fried my ecu on my car after taking them my car for an electrical issue and took it to them I'm working condition and after a full day of them messing with it they call me to tell to pick up my car because it's a headache. Once I get to the shop and question everything they advise that the icu was already fried, once I explained to them that it wasn't they just told me that " that's your problem but you have to take your car". read more

What a GREAT experience @ Baja Auto Electric this past weekend. I purchase and old 2001 Ford Focus for my teenager and was having some electrical issues with it. I had it towed to Eddie @ Baja Auto Electric and he and his Dad were able to diagnose the problem (alternator). The service fast and reliable. Went there for some breaks and when I got my truck back it was worse! Then when I went back they said my wheel barrings were no good and that was the cause. Baja electric is amazing! I had a problem with my fuel pump sensor and when I took it to the dealer to get fixed they told me the part wasn't sold separately so I would have to buy the whole unit which was very expensive. Eddie found out that my model of car (which the dealer should have known) the sensor was sold separately and was able to fix it in a day and save me money! The first week of May, I went here to fix my air condition that stopped working one day before. The man told me that we had to replace the compressor and told me it was $700. When I told him I could buy the compressor by myself, he told me no, that he could find one at a good price, and insisted that I leave the car so he could start looking for the parts. I told him that its now possible to find parts online for good prices, but he kept telling me to stay and pay him the $700. I paid him $20 for the diagnostic and I left. My son told me to buy an AC recharge can and try that instead of replacing any parts. We did that and another mechanic charged me $15 to recharge the AC and its now working perfectly. The first mechanic tried to scam me and people should be aware of the way they work, look for a second opinion when its an expensive job because sometimes it's invented. read more

In my experience, unfortunately, I was dissatisfied. Went and got my AC checked out. I was gonna get charged to check it. Which is reasonable. If I decided to fix it, they wouldn't charge for the diagnosis. It ended up being a bit more than I had expected, so my GF helped me pay. Guy said "what are gfs for?" She was offended. I thought it was whatever. Drove off excited that my AC worked. About 2 weeks later. It stopped working. So I called and asked if they could check it out. They said no and to call back in a week. So i called back and I was told to bring it in bit that they were going to charge me for checking it even though they were the ones that "fixed it." I don't like the attitude there. Verty cocky. Horrible place. Don't take your cars here they will try and rip you off. Took my car in to get diagnosed, they charged $80 for it. They told me that the test they did on it came back very bad and need a new engine. I left feeling cheated so went somewhere else and they did the same test but this time everything came back normal.
