After visiting and calling a bunch of shops around La Puente, I came across George's shop on Hacienda. I was not expecting him to be as fast and professional as he was. He lifted my car, cut the muffler and installed a straight pipe with the tips I brought in. He gave me a crazy good price and finished in less than 1 hour. George is awesome and his shop is the best. I was looking for a shop near by to handle a muffler delete job requested by a customer of mines. The owner was very rude and upon hearing what I wanted to do and asks for an estimate, he shakes his head and exhales as if he just heard something stupid. I get it if you did not want to do it, I could bring it to another shop, no problem. But the attitude of the owner was very unprofessional, I am not sure if I am special or if he treats all his customers with no respect. I asked politely for advice and help on a job that I have no expertise in and all I got was 'you tell me how to do it.' and 'come back after you make more space under the car.' LOL if I could know how I wouldn't have came to this rude place. Ended up visiting another muffler shop near by and job was done in a jiffy. Not sure about the quality of work but upon meeting the owner of this shop I am sure that I will never be back again. read more

Came here because of their 5-star Yelp reviews and they definitely live up to their rating! Very good high quality work with extremely reasonable prices and the utmost amiable service. Originally came to inquire in regards to an exhaust leak on my Mercedes and George immediately put my car on the lift, thoroughly examined the exhaust from the headers to the tips of the exhaust, and personally showed me there were multiple exhaust leaks showing them one by one. He's very honest and never once did I feel pressured or like I would be taken advantaged of. Without asking or charging additionally, he straightened one of my exhaust tips which was bent from previous damage a tow truck driver had done. If anything George's Muffler gave me a great bargain compared to any other quotes! They also work on California Highway Patrol vehicles and their cars have to obviously be held to a higher standard so you'll know the quality assurance is there. From now on they will be my go to shop for any exhaust or professional welding needs! I would highly recommend George's Mufflers to my family and friends. It's no reason they're 5-stars. Lazy as hell, won't do an easy reshape job. Why even call yourself a muffler clinic in the first place what a waste of time

Wow this place is horrible. I called to ask for a price of how much it would cost to replace my Muflfer. I told him that I already had bought the muffler and my car detail. I even offer to give him the part number of the muffler and name and such. All he said was I don't know, I don't know and hung up on me. At most places they would be able to know with just the model and part number of the muffler. read more

Good shop and it was right by my house. My tail pipe came off somehow and he was able to weld on a new one in under 15mins other places charged $90 but all George asked for was $20! Nice man. If I ever want to install a new muffler I know where to go now! read more

Had a crack/separation on the pipe before the catalytic converter that didn't look like it could be fixed. George was able to look at it and explain how he is going to repair it.
