Marco led us on an awesome winery tour. The tour was simple to setup and turned out to be a very relaxing day. Thanks for the great time!

My fun and Fabulous at 50 Birthday Bash was a complete success due to Hotshots Brewery Tours. We…read morehad an amazing time! We were picked up at our hotel, all 28 of us climbed into two trucks and drove to our first destination Ballast Brewery. They have an amazing selection of beers to taste. Our Beer Guides were awesome. They shared their vast beer knowledge at the next brewery Saint Archer. Great beer there too! The truck rides were fun as they were full of beer and water. We hooked up our own music to listen to 80s tunes. (I'm 50 remember? :p ) Finally we got to Duckfoot Brewery where my gluten free brother could have some beer as well! Everyone could join in on this tour! Something for everyone! (They had wine at Ballast too) The catered bbq food was SO good. Snarfed that down with some great beer. Hotshots Brewery Tours is amazing. They made my Birthday pretty epic. The family and friends will be talking about it for awhile! They all want to go again. Im like YES..but you're all paying for it this time :p Nick and Canyon were beyond awesome (sorry if I spelled your name wrong :/ ) Paul is probably looking forward to not receiving anymore of my frantic emails..:p You guys did a fantastic job. A million stars!!!!

The old school firetruck was a pretty sweet ride! There was plenty of beer and water inside for us to begin the journey. You could also hook up your phone to the sound system and play your own music. Nick brought us to three breweries (Ballast Point, St. Archer's, & Mission) and at each one he would give us a little insight on the history of each brewery. Once inside, he set us up with some drinks, and even showed us around Ballast Point. HotShots also provided lunch, which was very delicious! We had chicken wings, subs, pizzas, and fries. Nick was a pretty friendly guy, and a great guide! While at each brewery, he hungout with us and played cards. He even beat us in Pusoy Dos (Filipino card game) numerous times. Pretty sure he was just hustling us though... Overall HotShots was a great experience. We got to go to 3 different breweries, drink a lot, and not have to worry about how to get to the next brewery. We all had a great time, and if you book them for your brewery tour, you'll have a great time as well!

After carefully searching for a company to take us brewery hopping for our birthday, we decided to call them. Loved how they offer small tours that you can customize. We did not wish to visit the bigger breweries but instead wanted to get a more craft beer feel, with speciality brews on tap. We also wanted to speak to a live person and not book something online. How do you choose between 153+ breweries to visit? How do you know they are right for you and what you have in mind? You hire professionals, which is what Summer and Lars are. We had the pleasure of having Summer as our Brew Hop tour guide, and you could tell her passion and knowledge of beer. The rapport she had with the breweries we visited was visible, and this made our afternoon even more special as the friendship with brewers and staff made us feel welcome. As one of the oldest established brewery tour companies in the San Diego area with over ten years of driving and visiting breweries, we highly recommend them for parties of any size. We chose The Connoisseur Tour

She planned everything for me but only because I didn't know much about beer. She knows SD she knows the beer she knows the breweries and the industry. The group had doubts and didn't really care for my planning :| but after 20 minutes at the first brewery they started asking questions ... participating. And ended up glued to her words as she seeming mix dropped every other beer fact.

One thing to note, he is very strict on timing, so if you think you've got an extra five minutes, you don't.. LOL Now onto the tour itself. I've done quite a few wine tours, and unfortunately this one was my least favorite. It was also the first wine tour I've done that only visited two locations, which was a bit of a letdown. The first winery had a nice selection, we got three wine tastings. The Burgundy was my favorite from The Heritage flight. The property itself was beautiful to walk around, with amazing scenery and lots of great photo spots. We also stopped by the sweets shop and picked up a few treats. There were also surrounding shops near the winery. Personally, they weren't really my style, but that comes down to taste. If you like clothing and home décor, you might enjoy it more. Clothing prices looked to start around $50 and went up from there. The home décor shop was very cute with lots of handmade items, mostly in the $20 range and higher. I skipped the candle shop due to allergies. The charcuterie board was a nice touch and came with a good variety of items. The second wine location included five tastings. I personally wasn't a fan of the wines here. One person in our group ordered a glass from the regular menu and shared it, it was much better than the tasting options, and most of the group seemed to agree this stop was a bit of a disappointment. That said, the views were absolutely incredible. The pizza included in the tour was a highlight for me, I had the vegetarian, and it was really good. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. There wasn't much walking around at this stop, so we mostly stayed at the table and ate. My favorite parts of the tour was the food and the tour guide. I'm glad I tried it and can check another wine region off my list, even if it wasn't my favorite experience overall. For reference, we were picked up at 9:45 AM and dropped off around 3:00 PM.

For my 40th bday I wanted to get the gang back together and this was the perfect experience! We hit up two of our favorite taco spots, drinking and singing karaoke between stops. The most special part was that for our third stop Luke worked with me to add a personalized stop for us to visit our friend's new baby! An incredibly special and memorable night for me and my group of friends. Luke is the perfect blend of chill and dependable: payment, planning, communication, pick-up, driving, drop-off were all a breeze. He's witty and knowledgable and he knows how to start a party. Love that we had the opportunity to meet people from other places and eat good food. Locations were Point Loma, Ocean Beach and Little Italy on our tour. Ordering tickets was super easy online prior, they have two different options to choose from, we picked the sunset tour which was an excellent time!
