    carnitas mexican burrito

As a Hispanic I actually really enjoy the mexican burritos from here! They have rice, salsa, protein, beans, optional add ons, and I really like them! They're about $10+ which isn't bad and they're literally huge too. Salsa verde is good! I've tried the taquitos too and they aren't bad at all. Overall the mexican food here is actually pretty good and the pricing isn't bad. The service is always friendly though I usually only do pick up.

I love Baja Fresh. It's a great fast causal Mexican option to switch it up from qdoba or chipolte. It is more on the expensive side for this type of place but the portions are hefty. I always get the chicken quesadilla. Would definitely recommend ordering that. It comes with really good guac and sour cream. They also have a salsa bar which is nice. Food comes out fast and good for takeout. Lots of seating.

When it comes to burrito bowls, it's not very easy to find good quality burrito bowl shops. I have tried other places, but they haven't always been the best. Sure, you'll pay a little more, but least you won't feel like you've been ripped off. It's a big bowl, and it has the works-restaurant style rice, beans, veggies, and whatever protein floats your boat adds up to a delicious meal! Finally, a burrito bowl that doesn't have sanitary issues or makes you feel ripped off! This would my go to for a office lunch or dinner! For those that have tried Chipotle and/or Qdoba and feel like, "Is this all there is?", fret not-Baja Fresh to the rescue!

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Our entire meal was $23 and it was very fulfilling! My shrimp salad was huge and they did not skimp me on anything! The staff were all smiling and happy to help! The interior was a bit drafty and old fash but I mean what a great lunch with some dang good healthy Mexican food.

Salad with shrimp. Love the dressing!

They offer the best Mexican food I have in Eugene, with super friendly people sending you welcome. Their baja bowls are the best!

We didn't realize it at first, but there is a corridor going between a section of booths that is supposed to be the service queue. Thankfully it was POLITELY pointed out by the more familiar patrons, so we got in line. The menu is an easy read, nothing complicated here and the staff is very friendly, and apparently very aware that we were newbies here, all in good natured chat, this place is starting to feel very friendly. Placing our orders we take a booth and there are flowers in vases on the tables! Looking around, this place is very clean, like REAL clean. There is even staff that hang out in the middle of the dining room looking around. When they see a patron leave, the staff grabs some kind of wipes and wipe down the table that was just vacated. The feeling here is that this is an elevated food establishment. Like a crossover between a full service restaurant and a grab-and-go place. A cheerful individual brings us our tray and makes it seem like he was glad to do so. This is so different from the energy outside that gives the appearance of a 3 lane highway during a traffic jam with staff working the line. However, while we are sitting there eating we do see the line moving along not too slowly. The parking for dine-in was plentiful and the interior is also well lit as well as very clean. The food is good. The chicken is hot and moist, lettuce and tomatoes cool and fresh. I don't like pickles so that was no problem to leave off. The fries are like round waffles. Not my favorite style but tasty enough. Overall, a good experience in a relaxed environment.

The place is a little dated and we were greeted right away by two women at the counter. We ordered a cheese enchilada, chicken taquitos and cheese nachos. Everything came out fast and tasted good. Only thing that came out not too hot was the cheese enchilada. The cheese was not melted in the inside. We ended up taking that home and stuck it in the microwave. Much better! Overall, price point was good, service was great and food hit the spot.

Everything must be prepared "to go" here because when I ordered I said "for here" and I still got everything set up to go. Ok I can deal with this stuff but it gets better. The salsa bottles in ice next to the fountain drinks have a bunch of dried nasty salsa on the lids and there were flies crawling all over them. The (very little bit of) carne asada in the burrito was old, dried out, and over salted. I thought that perhaps it was yesterday's meat. I ate the burrito and actually kind of gagged on my last couple of bites. Not a real great experience at all. Taco Mogo provides a much better experience, better quality and a little better value.
