I decided to order some Taco Bell food and try out the delivery online. I had good service, and I even got a call from taco time telling me that the tostada wrap was no longer available. I ordered several things. Big Juan Burrito in Chicken - it is a big burrito, and it taste nice, but it's not my personal favorite. I might have to try it with beef. Crisp Bean Burrito - Yum! It's still delicious! One of the prime reasons I like Taco Time. Fish Taco - I had high hopes, but I tasted more of the coleslaw than the actual fish. Mexi-Fries - Yum, baby, yum! These never get old. Still yummy after all this time! Another Taco Time favorite. Soft Bean Burrito - Not bad, but not knock it out of the park. Taco - Not bad! I got some of the regular house hot sauce. Yum! Flavorful without being hot. I can't discuss the ambiance since this was an online order. My winners would be the Mexi Fries and the Crisp Bean Burrito, with a runner up for the Regular Taco and Soft Bean Burrito. read more

I have frequented Taco Time on Green Acres Road in Eugene for several years. While how authentically Mexican the food is is definitely debatable. However, every time I have eaten there I have been amazed at the freshness of all their vegetables and the freshly cooked chicken in the soft tacos. I like this Taco Time location. I like the landscaping out front as it is inviting. I typically go through the drive-thru. My orders have always been handled fairly quickly and unlike many other drive-thrus, my order has always been correct. The window itself is big and it is easy to talk to whomever is handling the payment. It is covered too, which is nice when it is raining. There isn't anything here that really WOWs you and makes you think that you must come back. However, they do everything quickly and correctly and I haven't had a bad experience there yet. read more

Bland overpriced food. The rice in the burrito was over cooked, the burrito is 90% lettuce, who puts sunflower seeds on burritos?! I gave it a second chance because it's close by. Never again. read more

Not the Taco Time we have eaten at before. Had the Soft Chicken Taco. It was dry and didn't have the same sauce as I have had for many years. Forgot what my wife had but she wants to forget it too. The food is the food, right? So then it comes to service. The Franchise Owner connects with his patrons, goes out of his way to help and treats his employees with dignity and respect. In addition, I had two hours to kill before I had to pick up a friend at the airport and needed to send out some reports for work. I walked up to the owner and asked him if I could use his WiFi even though it wasn't public. And he did. I recognize good people having worked in service related business my entire career. Friendly, professional, well trained staff. The food is fresh, I love the old school hot sauce bar. This Taco Time is the best one. The owner cares. We just got home and found an extra bag of delicious cinnamon sugar dessert tortillas. What a treat! I ordered the wrong thing and the owner instantly replaced my mistake and offered it at no charge! I seriously took Taco Time for granted while I was growing up in Eugene. During a recent trip to visit family, my partner and I stopped at Taco Time between errands. I hadn't been in years, but my partner's reaction (she's from Northern California) to the food, the service, and the prices made me realize that Taco Time is actually pretty special! You get inexpensive, super-fresh, delicious food ... fast - it's not really "fast food"! We're both kind of foodies and we are still (months later) talking about how great Taco Time was - the boysenberry empanadas, in particular. The food was good--fresh and nicely prepared. Very inexpensive, the place itself very clean and bright (we went to the one on West 11th in Eugene). We each had a beverage, a crispy taco, and then each a piece of their strawberry cheesecake that actually reminded me of real New York cheesecake (which I think is the best!). All for under $12.00. Will definitely order more the next time, maybe one of the combo plates. Service was quick, helpful, prompt, and friendly. Great staff. My husband uses a wheelchair and one of the workers opened the door for us on the way in and out, they checked to see if they could get us refills on beverages, cleared away our first tray after we decided to order the dessert. read more

This location has proved to be the worst ever. Every time I visit this location I craved their old food, and received a cheap version of what they used to be. The crisp tacos are so thin they crumble apart with the first bite and the crisp meat burritos lack the flavor that used to make them famous. Bad service and flimsy weak ingredients make it such a disappointment. I will try their other location but wont get my hopes up. The recent experience I had with a wrong order, a lying employee named 'Bonito" and a rude manager named Jasper topped off my resolve to NOT visit here again. Not happy with my experience at the Eugene, West 11th Taco Time at all. First was the complete lack of customer service. The lady working left the window, and left me sitting there for over 3 minutes waiting to pay. After I paid, she walked off again, before I could even ask for a receipt. Then when she brought my food, she did not ask if I wanted sauce, and walked off again before I could ask. Second was the food. I ordered Crisp Meat Burritos, which are supposed to be crunchy. When I got home and pulled one out they were limp, under cooked and chewy. I also ordered large Mexi-fries, which were also soft and soggy. Will never eat at the West 11th one again. Now I know why I hardly see anyone in their parking lot. I love Taco Time and have never had such a piss poor experience. read more

I've had the veggie burrito a couple times and the rice is always old and hard pretty gross for the price.

Taco time undoubtedly has better food than the Bell, but still not exactly anything to rave about. It's just not the worst one is all. That being said, they do also seem to have better and fresher ingredients (than the Bell). read more
