I ordered carne asada tocos and they had NO flavor! I could have been eating cardboard! worst Mexican food!

* This review is directed toward the kiosk outside of Jerry's as I don't see a listing on Yelp for that location. * I didnt know at first - it took a minute to realize just how gross the flavor of nuts and mexican food is together. I asked them if they use nut products in their cooking because it was the worst burrito Ive ever tasted in my life. The one guy who spoke English? He could care less... I was starving so I choked it down.. It made me feel sick for the rest of the day which prompted me to dig down on Google about the nutty flavor in the burrito. Just so disgusting. Turns are rancid avocados are the culprit and have a disgusting nutty flavor. It doesn't matter if anything is freshly prepared.... Once the taste of nuts infects the entire burrito? The taste is awful. Lastly, my stomach was bothered by this for many hours, I tried calling the number on the website 3x but no one answers. Between the rancid avocado taste and the server without a clue? I shant be eating here ever again and don't recommend anyone else go there either. read more

I picked up a chile relleno burrito this morning and was very pleasantly surprised. The burrito was hot, cheesy, and delicious. Jennifer assisted me in the drive through and provided excellent customer service. I felt welcome and left happy supporting this business. My order was prepared quickly and I did not have to wait long. I will definitely be back. read more

I recently visited Oregon from CA, Burrito Amigos was one of my stops! I had an adobada wet burrito. It was HUGE!!! I paired it with the green salsa and it was delicious! I couldn't finish it and ate it for lunch the next day. I definitely you try the papitas too. They're great as a late night snack. For the record, I used to be a big burrito Amigo fan. Unfortunately, there are much better choices now at a cheaper price. First, I'd like to say that their burritos used to be substantial. The last three times I've been there they have been anything but. Very disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I like their burritos I just wish they didn't skimp on them so much. I think they're trying to make an extra buck. I don't know. For my money Mucho gusto blows them out of the water and you get twice as much food and a higher quality meal. read more

I have been eating at burrito Amigo for many years it's always been perfect. Today I went to the one on West 6th a drive-thru the girl was very rude. I asked for salsa and she told me that I needed to ask for it at the window and not at the order place and then when I got home the burrito was cold and there was no salsa in my bag. When I stop at a Burrito Amigo years ago I used to like the breakfast burrito's at most locations but some times they over load them on egg and it gross's me out with the flavor. Now I don't mind egg don't get me wrong but even the ingredients man! I eventually started to order other items while my family members kept ordering these. Well I went to this location today and they didn't have the items I like so I was stuck getting the breakfast burritos that I was sent out to get. We all get them with no beans and most order with bacon so should add flavor. Yep no flavor all we were stuck with was the nastiness of mostly egg! I can say I am done ordering breakfast burrito's at least at any of Burrito Amigo's because of how gross they are! Thanks again for reminding me of how gross they are!!!!! read more

I suppose the drive through aspect is convenient, but you could say that about Taco Belch. I didn't dare try the "espresso" menu, though it looked as if they had a nice machine and decent coffee (Allann Bros). I got a wet veggie burrito and it cost $6.50. It definitely filled the space but I expect more from a burrito that costs $6.50. Some dank guacamole, or at least fresh looking ingredients. The beans and rice looked like they'd been sitting in a warmer all day. Anyway, I don't want to dog them too much. The service was super fast and friendly. They hooked it up on the hot sauce, which looks like they make it, which is nice. There are better places to get your Mex-fix. read more

I can almost get around a $3 soft taco from a drive-thru cart like Burrito Amigos if they are fast with decent enough sauce, I'll pay for convenience for just about anything it turns out. Somehow I got a batch of green sauce that wrecked my mouth. It's green sauce...it's not supposed to even really be hot in the first place, my boyfriend even snickered when I was bitching about it because "it's green sauce, what the heck?". I'm not ridiculously sensitive to heat, this was just nasty as hell, prior to that it hadn't been an issue either. Also the guac they serve with their taco salads has a tendency to go rancid. Not sure if it's the storage or what... I'll just go ahead and stick with Burrito Boy. At least they give limes and radishes with their tacos, they're also 0.65 cheaper, da fuq is wrong with you Burrito Amigos?! read more

Not exactly happy with this place. After going to another location and being completely non-plused I can here and was completely dissapointed. Have these people ever hear of quality control. I orderd the beef amigos burrito and the tomatoes were fermented like sauerkraut and the cilianto tasted like it had started to rot. I drove back and told them them the problems, but they told me that the ingredients were fresh. Fresh, really? Maybe, when they were picked in China, but I don't think they survived the boat ride over. And the burrito was extremely soupy and had sour smelling juice that ran everywhere in my car. The only thing redeeming thing about this place is tha they offered to fix the problem with another burrito, I declined. read more

These burritos are pretty mediocre. Eugene has so many taco/burrito carts, stands, restaurants, why would you keep going back to one that serves bland food. For me, because it's close. :( I sure wish it was a Burrito Boy! I have tried their breakfast burritos a number of times at multiple locations. I'm just done. They are dry and full of chunky eggs and whole beans. They have no flavor at all. If you want a cheesy gooey breakfast burrito, go somewhere else. A standard carne asada burrito will get the job done in a pinch but it's nothing to write home about. read more

Good place to drive thru for a quick burrito or other Mexican treat. They also have a full service coffee bar.

I gave them 5-stars for their $5 veggie burrito and their amazing hot sauce. I'd come back. If you are a cost conscious vegetarian, this is a good option for you. read more

I originally went here for a breakfast burrito assuming it was like burrito boys. Nope. I have given the menu a few tries as its by my work. Honestly save your money and go to burrito boy. Jack in the box down the street can make a better and bigger breakfast burrito for way less. Even better try the taco cart across the street. Great food there. It's convenient I guess cause it has a drive through. But it doesn't make up for the less then appetizing food. The jet tea is pretty good tho. I'm not sure why they always look so busy cause the drive through always has a few cars in it. Prolly the coffee or something. Never tried. read more

Terrible excuse for Mexican food!! The breakfast burrito is supposed to have scrambled eggs, but they are clearly hard boiled. I have easter eggs chopped up in my burrito!! Our family absolutely LOVES Burrito Amigos! I've only been to three locations, but I must say the little drive through one on 6th is my fave. The service is friendly at all of them I've been to, but it seems especially friendly at this location. I love that they've started using compostable containers too! The food is always fresh and very filling. I'm vegan, and I can order a Bueno No Cheese, and I don't have to give up flavor! Also, my husband doesn't like sour cream, so he asks for his burritos without - to his surprise, he's always offered guacamole instead. Most Mexican places charge you extra, even if you're leaving out one of the ingredients. Burrito Amigos is among our top 3 favorite family places to eat! read more
