Online ordering for pick up is quick, but you have to pay when you arrive (not sure if all locations are like that). Staff are quick and nice. First time in a Baja Fresh location - - LOVE IT! A colleague and I came to try it out at the height of the lunch rush. I ordered the chicken quesadillas with guacamole. Every order comes w/ chips (pretty neat for fast food!). The line moved quickly and received our food in less than five minutes. They have coke products along w/ beer. Yes, a little odd for a quasi-fast food joint. The salsa bar is OUTSTANDING. I love pico de gallo - delicious. I added copious amounts to my chicken quesadillas for more flavor and kick. The inside was very clean, bright and modern. It was a perfect day to sit outside though. LOVED the patio seating - - relaxing and beautiful flowers. I went for lunch on a Monday, so not too busy. I ordered the chicken Baja burrito and it was very good. The burrito was a good size and the avocado inside was delicious. The salsa bar had a good variety, but nothing had much spice. Overall, worth the price. read more

I like this Baja Fresh the best. It's consistent, unlike some of the other Baja's I've been to. Sometimes my burrito ultimo tastes slightly different or is smaller at other ones. It was also the first one in the area I believe. I first had Baja Fresh on vacation in California. Then about 5 years later, my mom and I noticed that this Baja was opening. How ecstatic were we? The space is pretty big and has an outdoor seating area, which is kind of slanted though. On weekends, you'll definitely be waiting to order and to get your food. I'd suggest phoning your order in if you are not patient. Oh and on your way in or out, try not to hit the millions of teenagers wandering around the town center waiting for their parents to pick them up. read more

This used to be one of our go-to places, but the quality has gone downhill and my last burrito here was so sloppily put together that we haven't been back. Don't order the Baja Burrito here unless you love tons of pico. Mine was literally 50% diced tomatoes and onions, covering just a little bit of chicken and some guac. The pico created so much liquid that the tortilla fell apart. It was gross. This is the advantage of Chipotle over Baja -- you can actually watch your burrito being made and ask for the amount of filling right for you. But truly that's where the comparison ends. Baja's menu is more diverse than Chipotle, and they're always introducing something new. Their chips are fresh, and the salsa bar is nice. Carryout is easy with either phoning in orders or ordering online. Kids meals are a good value -- cheese quesadilla, rice, chips, applesauce and a beverage. I love the steak Torta sandwich. The meat is always seasoned and grilled nicely, and the guacamole is quite fresh. I like the tomato salsa as a side, and the hot for my chips. Sometimes a little lime juice over the sandwich adds a nice zest. Probably the most notable thing about the food is that it is fresh and made daily. You can taste the difference. read more

Strange as it seems, I prefer Baja Fresh to many other Mexican Restaurants-better than Chevy's, Anita's, Tequila Grande, Chipotle, etc....The carnitas, steak and chicken burritos are excellent, as are the fish, steak and chicken tacos. The chips are made fresh and warm (though they could be thinner). The black salsa is the best! Unlike Chipotle, the burrito is warm and fresh. I am fed up. That's it. I am long, long time customer of this and other locations, but I'm finished. I always get the tostada chicken salad and ask for the shell to be cooked extra brown and crispy. Last night, I asked 3 (THREE!!!!) times when I placed the order. I paid $24.77 for 2 salads and a pronto queso. Over time, the salad shell has shrunk to the size of a paper plate (it used to be a big bowl size), but I still bought them. But last night, I got a 2 half fried shells that were CRUMBS! The complimentary tortillas now come in a tiny bag 3"x5-1/2" with 2"+ tucked in, so it is smaller than 3"x3". I got 12 tortillas in one bag. The salad cost $10.19. That's restaurant pricing where I can munch on tortilla chips and salsa until my heart's content. I will take my $24.77 to a restaurant in the future. read more

I originally went in for some tacos, bu caught side-tracked by the description of the mango chitpotle chicken salad. so good y'all! they did not skimp on one item. There was an abundance of chicken, just enough lettuce the right amount of avocado all held nicely in a great tasting, crispy but not too hard tortilla shell. of course, i added more mango salsa and pico de gallo and lime juice from the salsa counter. this is definitely a favorite for me. I was still hungry after eating the salad but it was a great size. next time I'll just add a taco to it. i didn't taste the chips that came along with the item, they didn't look too appetizing. Why sell chips and salsa for $2.25, when you give the chips away from free with each order and you offer a free salsa bar? idk, it confounds me! I like Baja Fresh as a brand, but this particular location has disappointed me. I've ordered the Nacho Burrito three times within the span of 6 months. Each time, it has come without the queso and the crema, and the cashiers usually tell me that the ingredients are absorbed by the rice inside even without looking inside to confirm. They do give me the ingredients on the side when I ask for it afterwards, but I'd rather the burrito come as described on the menu. read more

Baja Fresh does taste like they have fresher ingredients that are nicely prepared - less greasy than other fast food of the same style. This location was very clean, and the staff was always cleaning the difficult-to-manage salsa area. They brought out new mixes from the back when they were ready so the bowl were always full. We enjoyed our meal, and the efficiency of the staff to take our order and get our food out quickly. It may be difficult because of the nice large windows, but on a cold day, the temperature inside of the place was very cold. We had to keep our jackets on while eating which wasn't ideal, but it is nice when warm outside. read more

My family enjoys the large menu. It pleases everyone. I have been to multiple locations but this is our favorite. Having a shrimp allergy they are very accommodating in making the grill space clean from any cross contamination. The customer service could be a little better. Most of the staff members are either on their phones or don't seem pleased to be there. The facilities are decent. Occasionally we have to ask them to clean off a table but have never been told no. Restrooms could be cleaned a little more. Food quality is what I would expect for the price. Reasonably priced food and I appreciate that guac isn't expensive!! read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! I haven't been here in 3 years and I live super close to this location but after today, I will never come back here again! This is a good place for a quick bite to eat and it's pretty cheap. I've had the tacos and salads before. I prefer the tacos, the salads are too big for me. Every order comes with chips & salsa. The salsa bar has a nice variety of options. My personal favorite is the pico de gallo. The customer service is good for the place it is, honestly this isn't a sit down restaurant where the employees are working for tips, so as long as they get my order right and don't seem angry I'm happy. Three and 1/2 stars for inexpensive, fastish food with fresh ingredients and friendly counter service. I am not usually a fan of fast food, but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and get something quick, cheap, and easy. Baja Fresh satisfies this requirement gracefully in a clean environment well-stocked with a variety of fresh made-in-store salsas. I enjoyed the Baja Surf and Turf bowl, an absolutely HUGE portion of fire-grilled steak and shrimp, lime rice, black beans, avocado salsa, veggie mix, grilled calabacitas, roasted corn, chipotle vinaigrette and pico served with avocado slices and sour cream large enough for two people. I was surprised at the generous portion at a very reasonable price, and noticed that it included at least 1/4 of an avocado in the toppings. Flavors were better than I expected and I was pleasantly impressed with my overall experience. After I had ordered, I noticed that there are menu options less than 500 calories--- something to look into the next time I visit. read more

Definitely a way better option than Chipotle if you have a coupon. Given they serve chips/salsa and have a variety of fresh salsa trumps. We like our food spicy hot and just the salsa, cilantro and jalapeno station makes the visit worth it.
