I immediately gravitated towards her because she had a way of explaining things that made sense to me. We stayed in touch even after puppy graduation and I would text her from time to time to ask questions or stay in touch. I found her on social media and loved her training information. Then when my now 1.5 year old puppy was full grown and became harder to manage we got back in touch and she'd offer suggestions. Finally when she neared the age of 2 I realized I needed professional help Amillie came in and once again explained things even on our first session in a way I could understand and broke down behaviors for me. I actually have 2 giant breed Greater Swiss mountain dogs and she has helped me with training both of them. Mainly frustration reactivity for my younger female "puppy" and then being able to successfully loose leash walk both of them together (2 strong willed and physically strong, with a combined weight of ~200 lb) female dogs. Each time we meet I leave with so much information. She's been great and I only wish we started training them with Amillie when my girls were younger. You won't regret this partnership or Amillie's expertise. Training comes natural to her. It's a gift and that's with me already having had 2 large breed independent dogs before working with her!

If you truly love your pets, save yourself the drive, the money, and the trauma and DO NOT bring…read morethem here. This place was beyond unprofessional from start to finish. Not once did anyone clearly explain who they were or what their position was, and the craziest part is we NEVER even met the veterinarian supposedly treating our pet. That alone should have been a massive red flag. They lure people in by claiming blood work is "free," then conveniently tack charges onto your bill at checkout. We walked out feeling completely scammed out of nearly $1,500 with little to no transparency about what we were even paying for. Every interaction felt shady, rushed, and dishonest. The atmosphere was chaotic and uncomfortable, and after reading multiple reviews about pets dying after being treated here, we trusted our instincts and left immediately. Thank God we did, because we made it home safely with our baby. I cannot imagine the guilt we would feel if we had ignored the warning signs. Please do yourself a favor and spend the extra money with a trusted vet back home. No amount of "saving money" is worth risking your pet's life at a place like this. People need to be aware of what goes on here. I would run far away from this clinic and report them to the veterinary board immediately.

He had broken a leg on year earlier and had a massive lump removed from his side two years earlier. All three of our dogs we rescued from the streets. The first one, Rocky was near death. We found him on the beach in Rosarito, barely able to walk with diseases and other issues and they brought him back to life and he had given us many wonderful memories, may he rest in peace. The 2nd one, Mexi is now 15 1/2 years old and doesn't have much time left, but he's still doing OK for a dachshund. And last we have is a rat terrier from the streets of Rosarito, Paloma who is 13 1/2 yrs old. El Rodeo has allowed us to have many great memories as they have been our primary vet care givers. No one could have done better

Medical Pet was the only one that answered and even though they were fully booked and closing in less than an hour, they still squeezed my doggy in and saw her. I was so happy when I arrived, the staff was extremely accommodating and wonderful. The clinic is very clean and has parking out front. Only about 10 mins from the border. I paid $160USD for the initial visit which covered the check-up, x-rays, and medications. Extremely affordable and fair pricing. My dog already had stitches on her cheek from another incident and the doctor offered to take them out at a later date. I went back a week after and they didn't charge me anything. She got her stitches at another vet in Poway (we paid $1100 for that visit, NEVER AGAIN). I can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be bringing my puppies here for any veterinarian needs.
