This is how she delivered my graduation cake. Just awesome!

From beginning to end bakeaholics anonymous gives you just outstanding customer service. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers' wants, and she looks for ways to work around you and help you in any way she can on the day of your event. First, I met with her for a consultation of the idea for my cake. She asked me about every detail of the cake to assure it would be as closest possible as what I had in mind. She was very sweet, respectful, and professional. She made me a 2 tier star wars cake. It was chocolate with fresh strawberries in it. Delicious, is an understatement. Tier 1 was Darth Vader and tier 2 was Yoda with a graduation cap. Not to mention my name in star wars font which was all edible. I was in love with it from the beginning. Not to mention that she went that extra mile and delivered my cake wearing a storm trooper mask to go with the theme. Overall she goes above and beyond not just with her cake designs, but also for her customer as a person. She doesn't treat you like just another customer she makes you feel like a valued customer. I loved her cakes and I enjoyed working with her so I went on to continue ordering cakes from her. Anytime I need a cake I already know I have my baker I don't change and probably wont ever change.

All I have to say is..... if you don't order a cane from her you are truly missing out! THE! BEST! CAKE! EVER!!!! And i had tasting of more than one of her cakes. We ordered marble with cookies and cream. My husband usually finds nothing impressive with cake but LOVED her cake. And her design. I mean just look at her design.

Venue: beautiful, clean, and spacious with plenty of seating for families and friends to gather comfortably. It's conveniently located inside a shopping center with lots of parking available, which made our visit even easier. Ambiance: We absolutely loved the ambiance! The mariachi music playing in the background truly brought the whole experience together and perfectly represented the spirit and name of the location. Food: everything was fresh, delicious, and perfectly balanced in flavor without being overly sweet. We ordered the chocolate croissant, Abuelita's rosca, elote fino, and a fried pulled pork empanada with green sauce. Every item was flavorful and satisfying. The café de olla was warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweet. Overall, my family and I had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed our visit. We will definitely be returning for more pan dulce, delicious food, and maybe even try one of the cold brews next time. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for great Mexican bread and pastries, this is definitely the place. However, on Mother's Day (May 10th), I decided to try their menudo for the first time and purchased 3 orders. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The menudo was extremely bland and seemed to be missing basic seasoning like salt and oregano. Normally, bland food can be fixed at home with a few spices, but the bigger issue was the large amount of grasa (grease/fat) in the caldo. The grease was very dense and excessive. I tried removing as much as possible, but there was still too much. In fact, I had to serve my mother the menudo without the broth because of how greasy it was. My recommendation: stick to the bread -- it's great. As for the menudo, maybe this was just a one-off experience, so others may want to give it a try for themselves. I personally hope they improve the recipe because it's difficult finding a good Sunday morning menudo spot in the Downey area.

I've ordered up to three dozen tamales at a time and never had an issue. The staff is polite, they greet you when you pay, and that's all I need no need to chat about their weekend or personal life. I'm there for the bread and tamales, and both are consistently fresh and delicious. This is definitely a regular stop for me! Rated by a TEAMSTER

It's like a fancy filet o fish without the soggy bun, packed with amazing fried fish and tarter sauce. I'm just disappointed when they don't have this in stock, but sometimes they would make more, and that'll just be an extra wait. Downside is that I first tried the fish panini years ago and it was a bit better then, but it's still good currently. Other pastries I've tried here have been pretty good. They had some various buns with mochi inside, and those were great. Another one of my fave is their mentaiko salt bun. Great flavor, though I wish they would stuff the thing with more mentaiko. Their curry breads are good too. I took my daughter here and she got one with cute emoji drawn on, and she said the custard filling and the bread was tasty as well. I've tried some drinks here and they were alright. A friend was into their banana matcha when they have that in stock. Pretty simple layout here. Get in line and see the goods, then you reach the cashier and order and pay.
