The bread dry enough to be used for stuffing but not eaten with meal. Certain with better preparation on the meal that would match the extra great service and personalities of the staff operating it most would have a 5 STAR experience.

I had very specific requests for music and timing during our ceremony, they figured it out with ease and it was literally perfect. The staff was AWESOME. We had a medical emergency during our reception which they handled with ease and professionalism. They were so kind and accommodating to all of us. Finally, the space is to die for. We took pictures in the basement and they were the best pictures of all that my photographer got - gorgeous light in a beautiful setting. The set-up of the venue is perfect. I've been to so many weddings where you're either traveling to one setting to another, or there's a long wait between events, and it really drags the whole day down. Our guests went seamlessly from one spot to the next. I have no complaints, only excessive gratitude for the team at the Harris.

They have rv sites with electric and water, some with full hook up, tent sites, bunk house, and cabins. Something for every camper. We stayed over the 4th of July weekend. The campground had plenty of entertainment and activities. The pool is nice. It does get packed. The camp store has a lot of items including beer. They even deliver wood to your site. Plenty of bathrooms with private and gang showers. The food truck has good food but it does take some time for them to get the food done. This is definitely an opportunity for improvement. We waited an hour once and about 40 minutes another time. We absolutely will go back to Campit. They have such a welcoming and relaxing environment.

The "Customer Creation Bar" featured yogurt, granola, several different varieties of fresh fruit, and other toppings. The granola was excellent. There were several hot items including scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. The breakfast staff members were very friendly, greeting each guest and keeping the serving area and dining room very clean. Evening Social was a mashed potato bar, with a nice variety of options. Definitely will plan to stay here the next time I am working in this area.

Not only were we accommodated, but the experience from that moment forward exceeded every expectation. The manager, Sara, was phenomenal. She demonstrated exceptional hospitality and truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued. Her professionalism and warmth set the tone for our entire stay. Our room was spotless, smelled amazing, and was incredibly spacious. The shower was hands-down my favorite part--beautiful glass design with water pressure so good it rivaled a hot tub. Pure relaxation. We also loved the city view from our room. The bed was extremely comfortable, and being away from our kids for the night, we slept like babies. Breakfast was great, especially the strawberries with whipped cream--such a nice touch. Having the on-site shop for snacks and essentials was very convenient. The rest of the front desk staff were also friendly and welcoming. Everything about this stay was excellent. Thank you so much, Sara, for creating such a wonderful experience. Monday-Wednesday they offer light dinner/snack too - which we score very low. As the soups tasted watered down & the salad seemed old or previously frozen; soggy & discolored. No crackers for soup was offered-garlic toast was tho!! We recommend eating supper out at one of the favorite Holland area restaurants! Our reservation was for 2nts, yet, has 2 separate reservation numbers. We placed 2 calls to the hotel & let the young lady at front desk know this to insure they knew we wanted the same room each night, didn't require housekeeping & wanted to be sure there was no confusion! All 3 items had a huge fail. As the morning after the 1st night at 830am the GM walked right into our room. Even tho we had our "do not disturb-guests sleeping" sign hanging on our door per check-in reps recommendation. She & I were both shocked to say the least I explained the situation, she apologized repeatedly for not knowing & thinking we had checked out. Which we had done & rechecked right back in (again 2nts 2 different reservation numbers fiasco ) We don't sweat the small stuff!! Our 1st evening we had the pool area to ourselves the 2nd night we shared hot tub occupancy with yet the same GM we met that morning, shockingly & her husband/hotel maintenance man which being in the service industry, we found quite odd. But, still we giggled This hotel does not have smart TV's - don't plan on streaming anything via Netflix. They do have Direct TV tho! My family had the worst check-in service last night courtesy to an extremely rude front desk clerk…read morenamed Tim, who was asleep in the office. My wife tried calling the front desk several times in hopes of getting someone to come to the front desk. My brother-in-law had to walk around to eventually find Tim asleep in his office. He then proceeded to lie by saying that nobody called, despite corporate calling the front desk when my wife could not get a hold of anybody at the hotel. He then proceeded to threaten to throw everyone out. It's one thing to be asleep on the job. It's an entirely different thing to be combative and rude because you got caught, which you would think would be the time where you would want to be as pleasant as punch to the customer! Apparently, Tim doesn't understand this very basic concept of customer service. I recommend that he find employment elsewhere. Maybe he should look into shoveling up horse dung on Mackinac Island since it seems to be more suited for his temperament. In the meantime, I cannot recommend anyone stay here, lest you incur the wrath of Tired Tim the Troll of Staybridge Holland.

This is where the positives stop. The social capital of this hotel has ALOT of growing to do. The "inspired table" breakfast buffet was consistently without key food items every single day (all the juice, oatmeal, coffee, etc) 1.5 or more before the breakfast hour ended. We were told by the front desk staff member Greg that they were "having inventory problems" that the "current manager had quit his last day was that day" Furthermore the breakfast sandwiches were ROCKHARD - overcooked bagel bread left in oven too long? At checkout when asked "How was your stay?" (Coincidentally Greg again). I expressed that I was disappointed about lack of food and lack of quality of food. Greg became defensive and proceeded to argue that it was "hard to feed 87 people all checking out at same time a FREE breakfast". I insisted that the breakfast was NOT free as it is included in the hotel fee. Greg CONTINUED to argue with me and added that the breakfast was free (a bargain) because we only paid $139 plus tax (reunion group discount). I reminded him that if the hotel wasn't making a profit they would not be in business nor would he have a job. Greg CONTINUED to argue with me in quite a sarcastic tone. From the beginning of the wedding planning process to the end of the night, Kelsey was professional, sweet and thorough. No task too big or too small, no detail gone unnoticed. Kelsey did everything from help recommend first-look photo locations to set-up and tear-down of ceremony, cocktail hour and reception decor, and everything in between. She was so amazing there are probably 100 things that she did without the groom and I even realizing! I couldn't recommend a vendor more!!
