We have done dance classes in many states, and hubby knows it's part of my best wife happiness plan…read moreif he agrees to go dancing with me. After we moved to RI we found this place on Groupon, which purchased us a private lesson, a group lesson and a dance party, for a pretty decent intro price, so we got it. Our first visit, nobody else showed up, so it was essentially a private lesson. We met Caleb and Rusina, and were paired with Caleb for the evening. Since we have done quite a bit of dance in the past, we told him we were already married, and knew a lot of what we wanted to do and what we didn't want to do, and he disregarded it all. Throughout the evening, Caleb forgot multiple times that we weren't there for our "first dance" and in fact have been married 5 years. He also seemed like he was distracted during the lesson, pulling and pushing us off tempo and saying things that were contrary to what he was doing. We were frustrated, but hoped our next lesson we would get Rusina and things would be better. Unfortunately our next lesson, about a month later, we got Caleb again. Our experience with him the first time was not a fluke, and he was the same if not worse this second time. He didn't remember us at all, and began at the beginning and retaught us everything we had already learned, despite us telling him we already learned it with him, and in fact with others at other studios. I was hoping as his wife was watching, she would intervene and redirect him, but neither time did she do anything to improve the situation. At the end of our "lesson" Caleb sat us down to lecture us about the importance of continuing to do dance lessons "for our marriage" and then was super pushy when we told him we weren't going to buy a package from him. Overall, the experience was pretty dismal. I don't know if things would have been much improved with Rusina, but after having two of these types of "lessons" with Caleb, there is 0% chance of us returning here. In fact, we will go out of our way and drive to a much farther studio so that we do not have to have this experience here again.

I have had the fortune of dancing with Caleb and Rusina for almost 8 years and have truly enjoyed…read moreevery minute of it! Lessons are fun, challenging and rewarding. I quickly got hooked after only a few lessons. Their contagious passion for dancing always make me want to learn more and become the best dancer I can be. I learn and grow every time. Rusina and Caleb are both highly skilled and acclaimed instructors, with top placements in national dance competitions. Still they are very approachable with a great sense of humor making you feel comfortable, relaxed and learning fun. They tailor their style to individual needs and skill levels. A beginner dancer or an experienced competitor- everyone will feel welcomed. They give devoted individual attention both during private lessons and in group classes. Their styles are tailored to individual needs truly wanting you to succeed no matter what your dancing goal is. Caleb and Rusina are both eager to help their students develop their own potential, not only reaching their goals, but exceeding them. The studio is bright and spacious, conveniently located in Narragansett. The atmosphere is fun, friendly and encouraging. You are always welcomed with a big smile from everyone here, instructors and students alike. It gives me a feeling of belonging and I have made lifelong friends through dance. I have to travel quite a distance to come here, but it is very much worth it. Because of Rusina and Caleb I'd rather dance here than anywhere else.

I CANNOT say enough about this program. There are classes in music and dance for preschoolers all…read morethe way to adult, but the flagship program is definitely the Dramafun Players. This is a high quality, supportive theater program that puts on a full scale musical with costumes and sets (show usually is abbreviated, lasts one hour without intermission.) Miniplayers (for little kids) then Dramafun jr players (up to 5th grade) and the Dramafun players (10 years old and up) all participate in the production. It's very high quality. We've tried kids theater programs up and down the south shore, and it definitely one of the best in the area. And to think, my youngest daughter used to be afraid to audition, and my neice used to be afraid to perform!
