The Owner although appearing sweet, is actually very condescending, and truly is never wrong...in her eyes at least. She truly knows the meaning of "sugarcoating". From the mishaps with my account I found them legitimately disorganized with poor bookkeeping. The instructor my daughter had was great with the girls and very nice, however, not the teacher that was advertised to us by the owner (aka was suppose to be the Owner, second class one of her teenage students took over). Pictures and dress rehearsal, very disorganized. And the facilities need to be cleaner... I could go into detail about the many issues I experienced but this review would be way too long. Unfortunately the owner soured our experience enough we are not returning. I wondered why upon signing up this past year why no one had heard of this place...now I know why. Word of mouth is the most powerful source of advertising, especially amongst parents, and this Mom's mouth is saying "No Thanks" to the Dance Factory.

She has been very happy here…read moreover the years and has grown into a strong, independent dancer and person thanks in large part to the many hours she spends there. The facility itself is very nice with 3 large studios and a locker room for the students. The ceilings are high and the lobby is open and bright and filled with comfortable seating. But what really makes this a topnotch dance school is the staff. The office manager is organized and clearly and efficiently communicates what we need to know. The instructors are tough and expect a lot from the students, but in a good way. Their choreography is always innovative, fresh and age-appropriate. They are dedicated and hard working. The instruction is varied and challenging. The owner is consistently bringing in top-notch guest artists and providing other fun team-building opportunities for her team. There are so many benefits to dance, being part of a team, learning to deal with disappointment appropriately, learning punctuality and discipline, keeping your body healthy and fit, and I could go on...I am very thankful to have a studio of this caliber so close to home. It really is the only game in town and this family wouldn't dream of dancing anywhere but here.

Usually if you tell s vender you have a groupon, they usually don't take you until few weeks later. Sarah take you right away. She works on Saturday to accommodate my schedule. She came prepared. She ask me which song I pick for my first dance and write down all the steps. We went in and didn't waste a minute of our 1 hr lesson. I would definitely recommend Sarah to all the brides out there. The group has a range of fitness levels (and ages -- from 19 years old to 50+ years) and she is able to teach to each one of our levels and to make sure we are challenged appropriately. She also is great at improving our form. I am getting stronger every week AND enjoying myself at the same time. (Plus, I love that it is outside in the summertime!)

We found Dance Expressions through a local group we are apart of and this girl of mine is LOVING it. Ms Lauren is her instructor and she has the patience of a saint with these littles. Ms Shannon communicates well with the parents and keeps everyone in the loop! If I could change anything though it would be to make the lobby a bit larger so we can see them practicing with a few more seats. I'm not too comfortable just dropping my (five year old) babe quite yet. I'm glad we chose DE- they are super affordable and are always doing things to help bring down costs! #fundraising
