Update: I went back the next morning. The manager on duty was concerned and disappointed. She gave me a full refund and apologized for the situation. I told her that I understand and that I heard about how corporate has changed the quality and procedures of how the food is made. She mentioned that they had recently changed the cooking time for that sandwich to cut done wait time. Which I believe will continue to bring down the quality of the food and service. Sad, it used to be a good place to eat. I went in at 7:20 pm to get dinner for my family. I ordered 4 tacos, a large fries and a chicken teriyaki sandwich. I was hungry so I took a bite of my sandwich and the meat didn't taste like it was cooked. So when I got home, I looked at the chicken. Sure enough the meat was still very raw in the middle. Drive through line was slow and our food was not hot or even warm. When a drive through line is slow, I'd like to think it's because food is being prepared to order, and will be hot and fresh. This food was just sitting there waiting to be ordered, apparently. I paid $45 for a family meal deal, a single with cheese, a medium sprite, and a candy cane shake. It was maybe worth $22 for the low quality meal it was. While waiting in line, we looked inside the establishment and noted it looks like a typical middle class family home built in the 1980s. Highland Avenue, San Bernardino, CA 92405, the DT female failed to give me my entire order requested, but was charged and asked me to return, get reimbursed or have this store replace the item. I live in the Northend, will spend $5.00 worth of gasoline and waste my time going & coming. Secondly, I specifically requested Ketchup for my "soggy" fries and failed to give me. Tons of hot sauce but no ketchup received. I t/c to speak w/Manager (Goddess...Really...?) but Gabriel said, "She's not available until time to go home (5:00 pm PST)." I've heard other customers complain of the long wait, poor service and the customer is not always right attitude. Quality has diminished significantly, with orders being wrong consistently. Food Quality example: I enjoy a Chorizo and egg burrito for breakfast. The Baker's on Waterman and Highland Ave. consistently has almost no Chorizo!! Horrible. Never ordering there again if they can't return to better quality. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I have not been to a Bakers in a few years. Their menu has greatly expanded. The selection of sandwiches, shakes, and other entrees is on a very grand scale now. With the expanded selection, we were able to try new items out that we had never had before. I had the Caramel Iced coffee and Caribbean Chicken Aandwich. The coffee was delicious. It had just the right amount of sweetness without being too sugary. The sandwich was tangy and had a little bit of kick. Overall, a very tasty meal for a reasonable price. My friend order the bean and cheese burrito. It was very filling and satisfying. The place was very clean. All of the staff was pleasant and very helpful and in describing the options. I will be back to take my kids so I can sample more of the menu. read more

Terrible!!! Went through the drive through on the way home to Lake Elsinore. Spent $53.40 ordered 5 taco burgers along with other food. Got home to find that the taco burgers had NO MEAT!!! How can you work at Bakers & not know to put meat on the taco burger??? Completely incompetent! This happened once back in 2018.
