Unfortunately, our experience here was unacceptable. My wife found a bug in her salad, which completely ruined the meal and made us question the cleanliness and food safety standards. We immediately lost our appetite and could not continue eating. Finding an insect in prepared food is not a small issue, especially when customers are trusting a restaurant to serve something clean and safe. I would not feel comfortable returning, and I hope management takes this seriously and improves quality control before serving food to guests. read more

Warm reception Friendly counter lady. Good size place. Accommodates 49 people. Spacious aisles and seating arrangement. Nicely designed interior with beautiful watercolor paintings on walls. Sirloin steak sandwich was good. Steak was soft and not chewy. I Ike the texture of the chia bata bread that came with it. Green beans was seasoned well and so is the sweet potato fries. Love The Habit, not this location. I've been here 2 or 3 times and the employees here have this way of making you feel like you're bothering them just by being there. The last time I was there I made a mistake when confirming my order at the pick up window. A mistake that happened when the employee confused me. The employee made sure I knew how they felt about my mistake when handing me my food. There's no other Habit near me, so I suppose In&Out for me. Walking inside, you can see that the place was clean and not too many customers sitting inside. I ordered the Cesar salad for my friend, and I had the Chicken salad with Ranch dressing. Considering there wasn't anyone else at this location who ordered ahead of me, it did take a moment to prepare my order. The salads were filling. Chicken wasn't dry. I ordered a char burger with cheese and was extremely disappointed with my experience. For nearly $9 with tax, I expected much better quality and basic food safety. The burger came with a piece of plastic in it, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about kitchen hygiene and quality control. Beyond the safety issue, the burger was over-salted to the point where it was difficult to enjoy, and they had slathered on way too much mayo, making it messy and unbalanced. For the price point, this was a terrible value. I expect restaurants to maintain basic food safety standards and reasonable seasoning. I won't be returning and would caution others to check their food carefully before eating. Strike one was when I ordered a couple of shakes and was told they had no ice cream. Strike two was once I was given my order and I arrived home I realized that one of my major items was missing. So, I had to return to the store and intention was to just get a refund but I was told that wasn't an option, but they'd just make my item "over." I enjoyed the self check out line simple easy to follow., they have the best french fries in the inland empire hands-down, which really helped me look forward to the Main double char cheeseburger. This thing was really work of art. You can tell they take pride in the presentation.. it had grilled onions to die for decent size burgers, good cheese, tomato pickle, diced lettuce, tasted very flavorful, which is unlike cheeseburgers. I ordered a kids chicken strip meal through the drive thru today 07/22/25 at 141 pm. Luckily I looked at the food prior to giving it to my kids. There was a blue string, I thought to be a worm at first in the batter of the chicken. All of the pieces of chicken had these little blue fiber like balls fried into it. After pull the blue substance off, it had fibers. Whether it was part of a cleaning rag or an old band aid, I am glad I didn't give my kids the food. You can't even talk to someone there to complain. The number goes to a corporate location and you have to make a complaint on the main website. Hopefully no one else and their kids got whatever that was on or in their food today! read more

I went to the Habit in Colton on Valley Blvd about an hour ago. It was my first time at a Habit and I was looking forward to enjoying a real char grilled burger. I ordered the Charburger with cheese to go. The cheese was an extra charge. I repeated to the cashier "with cheese" at the beginning of the order and when he rang me up. I looked at the receipt and it had "1 Char ChzBurger". After a few minutes, the manager(?) gave me my order. I hopped in my car and drove all the way home. I don't live in Colton, but in the back of my mind I was thinking,"Maybe I should have checked to make sure it had the cheese while I was still over there." Well, when I got home and opened the wrapper, sure enough, there was NO CHEESE!!! I didn't want to close the wrapper back up and drive all the way to Colton, besides I was starving. Anyhow this was my first time at the particular location. I typically eat at one of the OC locations. I placed my order through the drive-thru (salad and seasonal parmesan fries). When I got home the salad when drenched in dressing almost like they dumped half the gallon of dressing over it. And the fries when ridiculously over cold and hard with barely any cheese and a tiny side cup of the garlic sauce. Not too bad of a place to eat taste wise. Now price wise is the main reason I went here as many times as I did. The $20 family special is awesome. When the " Habit "!first hit LA , I would trek to the area they were in just to order the Santa Barbara sandwich. Lots of avacado grilled bread with a side of fried green beans. The food is great, but the employees are hopeless. 2 times we've ordered food from here on a Saturday and I've ended up just having fries for dinner. 1st time we didn't get the burger that we paid for. I come to this location alot. Service is always on point. If you never been I always recommend the tempura green bean fries! They're the best! Curbside pick up is easy and no hassle. It is the first three parking spots near entrance/exit off Valley Blvd. So its a little awkward if every where is busy. Today I tried something different off their menu which was the chicken sandwich. It was really salty. No flavor but salt. I am disappointed about that. I have tried other burgers from the menu and their fries. Everything usually tastes great. So I won't recommend getting chicken sandwich.
