Update: They're no longer affiliated with Fivestars!…read more I've since gone two additional times to try their waffle bites. My last trip was kind of spontaneous because I suddenly got a Fivestars reward that day for these waffle bites. However, when I arrived, I was looking for the Fivestars tablet only to be met by a Clover tablet instead. It felt like I went through a time warp because the employee working behind the register didn't seem to have any idea what I was trying to say regarding Fivestars, though he did notice a little trifold card on the front counter mentioning Fivestars. I asked if he could get his manager so I could explain, and even show, him my Fivestars reward. The reward said "already accepted", which he almost thought meant I had redeemed it already, but if that were the case, then it would have said "already redeemed". Given that they've now done away with Fivestars, I'm not too surprised he may have gotten the words "accepted" confused with "redeemed", but luckily, he was happy enough to honor it for me. The employee who assisted me was very helpful, though he did ask me to repeat the topping and the drizzle that I wanted. I chose the Strawberry Cheesecake flavor ice cream with Fruity Pebbles toppings and a Strawberry drizzle on top. Since I had already tried the cookie flavors before, I figured I'd try the fruity flavors this time around. He said he needed about 5 minutes to prepare my waffle bites, which were presented a little different than last time. Last time, I got the Cookie Butter flavor with *Cookie* Crisp and Peanut *Butter* (see what I did there?), and it came in a small plastic takeout container. This one came in a large plastic cup, and I'm thinking the logistics may have changed a ton between my last two visits. I did appreciate how the employee asked if I wanted the waffles on top of or beneath the ice cream before making the waffle bites; I chose on top. He also asked if I'd like powdered sugar on top, to which I agreed. Unfortunately, neither of the waffle bites I got from my last two visits impressed me that much. As a matter of fact, the only thing that impressed me was the strawberry drizzle. Everything else fell kind of flat. While generous in size for the $8 price tag, the Cookie Butter and the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream didn't really taste like these flavors at all! For whatever reason, the peanut butter didn't add much flavor, but the strawberry drizzle added a lot! How even?! In short, the waffle bites weren't that much of an upgrade from the ice cream scoop that I had on my first visit. I'm willing to say "too much good was no good" here. The waffles themselves were good, but they can only do so much when a flavored ice cream doesn't even taste like that flavor. It's worth noting that on my penultimate visit, when I got the Cookie Butter Waffle Bites, I saw two employees behind the front counter who were ready to take my order. I asked them to explain what the waffle bites were, but it took them a couple of tries to actually understand what I was asking. From what I gathered, the waffle bites were similar to the ice cream scoop I had on my first visit, but with the addition of a warm waffle to supplement the ice cream. However, the step-by-step process remains the same. I was initially told it would take 6 minutes to prepare the Cookie Butter Waffle Bites, but it actually took 15! It seemed like one was training the other or they were trying to gather the ingredients and/or the steps needed to create the waffle bites. After about 10 minutes, I was told by one of the employees they had to make a new batch of waffles because the first batch had burnt. The music was getting pretty loud, so it was hard to hear him after that, but I didn't want to hold up the kitchen prep process any longer. I just said "Alright, sure" so he could continue preparing my order. I do appreciate how he let me know of this so that I'd know the reason for the extended wait, but I wish they weren't so ill-prepared during my visit. So overall, still 3 stars overall. I appreciate the prior partnership with Fivestars, but these missed opportunities have led me to believe that Cravings is just not for me. I doubt I'll try anything else on their ice cream menu, and considering that there are only a few parking spots in their lot, it will take a lot to get me to try their hot chicken. And speaking of lack of parking, I also want to mention that on my second visit, I saw two open parking stalls right in front of Cravings, one on either side of a car. That car had its driver's side wide open so that I couldn't park there. I had to park on the passenger side of that car, which he left much less room for. Perhaps a microcosm of the clientele in this part of town? Everybody deserves a second chance, right? Unfortunately, not everybody can make the most of them, and this is just one example of such. Thanks for the sweet treats Cravings, but I'll get my next one somewhere else.

The ice cream was a 5/5 for me, the toppings, and waffles combined well giving a crunch to the soft ice cream. Free parking is available but limited, and they have outdoor seating with a v for entertainment. I was joyed to see the international snacks available for purchase! I had to buy some oreos. Another perk was the eatery nextdoor!

I've ordered hot coffee and iced coffee but this last visit I tried their cookie butter latte and it was delicious. It wasn't too sweet and they had a generous amount of cookie crumble on top. I also feel that they were generous with the coffee. Some places put a lot of ice and you take a couple sips and it's done. This wasn't the case. Thank you. The cashier was friendly as well, she took the time to explain their hours. We ordered our drinks and they were ready in a few minutes. I would definitely come back and I'd like to try another specialty drink. In December, they have "Christmas" drinks whereas in June, they have "summer"drinks .. it just varies from month to month. Parking is free since it's part of the Bellflower Steelcraft. I feel they make drinks quick, I usually wait less than 5 mins for my drinks. Our usual orders consist of: kids iced mocha, cafe de olla, & the iced cookie butter latte. Oh! Plus you have an option of adding cute art on some of the drinks for a dollar! I've had hello kitty, pochacco, snoopy with a soccer ball & text Mexico

The Dubai Chocolate isn't listed on the menu, but I asked the lady and she said it was available and highly recommended it. I also got the Strawberry Shorty. The strawberry on the Strawberry Shorty reminded me of the strawberry filling in a Duvalin, which I really enjoyed. The toppings on both donuts were amazing, but the actual donuts themselves were a little bland and could have used a bit more flavor for my liking. They were still soft on the inside with a nice crispy exterior. Overall, it was a good dessert and I really enjoyed the toppings. I just wish the donuts themselves had a little more flavor!

I'm so over the coffee shops that put banana and it's something that tastes so artificial. So this was perfect. Service, everyone was super sweet & it was nice & quiet. Good to like study, but also welcoming enough (it feels so cozy and homey) on the sides to meet up w a friend. The 1 star review below made me sooo sad. I didn't know management changed (manager? but owners could be the same fyi) but even if it did, the new ones can still be family friendly & they are still a small owned business. It's not like corporate bought them out lol. I will be honest the last set up had a lot of options, and I believe this nice & curated menu made it less stressful to pick a good drink. If any drinks are bitter, Im sure if you'd ask nicely (the customer service was good) I'm sure they'll make an attempt to rectify. Can't speak to that since MINE WAS PERFECT but it's still a small business. He even asked me if there's anything I'd like to change with a smile. I'll be back soon for the banana matcha! cheers.

Please stop promoting it as "new and improved" because, honestly, it's far from that. The old Sweeti had something special. You could taste the love and care that went into every drink and that's what kept us coming back. It really breaks my heart because I loved supporting this place, but after today, I don't think I'll be coming back. I used to tell all my friends and family about Sweeti and now I have to tell them that, unfortunately, it has gone downhill with the new management. Please come back, old owners! The Ube Monster is consistently my go to and they seriously know how to do ube right, not just with their drinks but their pastries and desserts too. Personally I think Cafe 86 has one of the best halo halo around. Even compared to a lot of Filipino restaurants and dessert places I've tried, this one stands out. I'd even take their halo halo over Chowking or Red Ribbon. Cafe 86 is basically what I think a modern Filipino halo halo and ube dessert spot should be. Not to mention always friendly staff and super comfy seating. Nice place to chill and catch up for desserts tho a lil small. They've mastered ube here and I love that they're bringing Filipino flavors into more modern drinks and desserts without losing what makes them good in the first place. **3 stars -- Helpful info before you go**…read more I was really looking forward to trying this matcha ice cream café, especially since I've been searching for a good matcha-and-ube ice cream experience. The ice cream itself was enjoyable, but a few things about the visit may be helpful for other Yelpers to know in advance. They don't offer samples of the available ice cream flavors, which was surprising since many other ice cream shops do. Also, the flavors listed on Yelp and social media did not seem to reflect what was currently available in-store, so I'd recommend checking directly with the café before visiting if you have a specific flavor in mind. We ordered a Level 1 matcha and a mango waffle cone. The flavor options for mixing also appear to depend on what they have already prepared and available that day. There were no pastries available during our visit either. Service was a bit underwhelming, but hopefully the café can improve communication around current flavors, samples, and daily offerings. I'll continue my search for that ideal matcha-ube ice cream combination, but this could still be worth a stop if you're flexible and simply craving matcha ice cream.
