    Beautiful cake and absolutely delicious!

Cake was amazing! Such great customer service and beautiful work, strongly recommend! The cake was so delicious.

Ordered a cake last minute and the owner Lucy was very understanding. The tres leche con nuez was a big hit and delicious. Highly recommend it (and I'm not a 3 leche's fan).

Delicious, cheap perfectly sweetened. Eat them when you get them. They're chewy yet crispy on the outside.

Nice hard churros for $1/Each. Only eat If you want to break your teeth and scratch the roof of your mouth

Churros were hard. I was very disappointed! The owner was very kind. She makes custom cakes and sells flan and tres leches cakes by the slice. Overall okay spot. Looked clean and is literally a hole in the wall.

Paid $4 for this piece but it's soo good! Wanted to try the churros but it was 4:30 pm and they close at 5 and she would only be able to fry if I bought 12. Hopefully soon I can try!

This is not part of the other Lucero bakeries. But personally I like these churros more! They're a little more expensive but it's not that major of a difference. The service is always friendly and they're open 7 days a wk from 7am-8pm! Remember, a churro a day is the only FDA approved anti-depression treatment.... *cough.... Ok, that might not be completely true. Give them a shot!

I used to drive out to Bell Gardens just for churros. So I got excited when I heard about this churro place closer to home. I tried the churros here and they were good but not great. They reminded me of high school when a man would sell churros from a box just like these were in. They're so average in a good way. Their churros are up there compared to other places like El Pollo Loco and Costco, or churros from the frozen foods aisle at the grocery store, but it's not the best I've ever had. Realistically I'd give them 3.5 stars, so I'm rounding up.

$40 for 100 pieces. Can't beat that! And they are soooo good!

Someone at work ordered 100 churros for a fundraiser. The order came in a nice, sturdy box. I believe it was $40 for the order, which I thought was an awesome deal! Now, about the churros themselves: - warm - semi-crispy outside, chewy inside - good balance of sweet, sugar coating - about a foot long, maybe even a bit over - had some the next day and they were still good. - awesome value for the money I didn't give a 5 because I didn't place the order and have no clue on service, but based on product itself, they were delicious. So excited to have found them and definitely going to order from them in the future!

Can I make an order for pick up early morning like 5am? For a large quantity of churros to share with my co workers that same day?

Venue: beautiful, clean, and spacious with plenty of seating for families and friends to gather comfortably. It's conveniently located inside a shopping center with lots of parking available, which made our visit even easier. Ambiance: We absolutely loved the ambiance! The mariachi music playing in the background truly brought the whole experience together and perfectly represented the spirit and name of the location. Food: everything was fresh, delicious, and perfectly balanced in flavor without being overly sweet. We ordered the chocolate croissant, Abuelita's rosca, elote fino, and a fried pulled pork empanada with green sauce. Every item was flavorful and satisfying. The café de olla was warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweet. Overall, my family and I had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed our visit. We will definitely be returning for more pan dulce, delicious food, and maybe even try one of the cold brews next time. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for great Mexican bread and pastries, this is definitely the place. However, on Mother's Day (May 10th), I decided to try their menudo for the first time and purchased 3 orders. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The menudo was extremely bland and seemed to be missing basic seasoning like salt and oregano. Normally, bland food can be fixed at home with a few spices, but the bigger issue was the large amount of grasa (grease/fat) in the caldo. The grease was very dense and excessive. I tried removing as much as possible, but there was still too much. In fact, I had to serve my mother the menudo without the broth because of how greasy it was. My recommendation: stick to the bread -- it's great. As for the menudo, maybe this was just a one-off experience, so others may want to give it a try for themselves. I personally hope they improve the recipe because it's difficult finding a good Sunday morning menudo spot in the Downey area.

I had been to the one in Laguna Niguel and this one in Little Tokyo is more spacious, with an area where you can eat. I bought an oyako pork shumai, curry pan and spicy curry pan. The shumai was like dumpling filling in a bun. My faves were the curry pan, which were super flavorful and vegetarian. The spicy curry one does have a kick (great for my husband), while I prefer the regular curry as I can't handle spice. Wish I had one closer to me!

It's like a fancy filet o fish without the soggy bun, packed with amazing fried fish and tarter sauce. I'm just disappointed when they don't have this in stock, but sometimes they would make more, and that'll just be an extra wait. Downside is that I first tried the fish panini years ago and it was a bit better then, but it's still good currently. Other pastries I've tried here have been pretty good. They had some various buns with mochi inside, and those were great. Another one of my fave is their mentaiko salt bun. Great flavor, though I wish they would stuff the thing with more mentaiko. Their curry breads are good too. I took my daughter here and she got one with cute emoji drawn on, and she said the custard filling and the bread was tasty as well. I've tried some drinks here and they were alright. A friend was into their banana matcha when they have that in stock. Pretty simple layout here. Get in line and see the goods, then you reach the cashier and order and pay.
