    Pistachio Latte (16 OZ)

We really enjoyed coming to Baklava home after our dinner. The place is very cute but It was quite busy. We got lucky since someone was leaving and we grabbed a table. We were seated on the other side but I was so amazed by the way the kunefes were being made on the spinning machines. The waitress took our order at the table. We got the double pistachio kunefe and I got a pistachio latte. My brother got a big pot of tea. There was a slight issue with the waitress not speaking much English so we ended up with a very large thermos of tea. Just a word of warning in case you are considering that. The pistachio latte and kunefe were excellent. I also got some baklava to go but I think the kunefe was way better than the baklava. Overall a really great and delicious experience.

The triangle shape baklava is the best thing ! The ice cream in between is the best combination ever. The baklava is warmed up a little bit and it just makes it so savory. Service is amazing although sometimes you have to repeat yourself which I have encountered but nonetheless still great. Located in Patterson New Jersey the location is pretty decent and reachable and there's enough space for big families and small. Prices are decent, but since I haven't paid for it, it's even better. Considering the fact that I live in New York, I will take a drive to come here because it's that good.

This place was great - clean, fresh, and delicious! Cheese Kunefe - they make it fresh so it takes some time but it's worth the wait! Cold baklava - I've never heard of this or seen it before but it's like a baklava tres leches and it is DIVINE, def a must try! Walnut baklava - it was good, nothing special imo. Turkish ice cream slice - iykyk, I love this ice cream so much, it's a must for me.

This kunefe is fantastic! So fresh!

Big dessert spot. Super clean. Nice modern seating. Waitress was patient and helpful. Trilece, chocolate mousse pastry, and Turkish delight were all very good. The pistachio kunefe made to order was awesome! Great texture and flavor! Enjoyed all of that goodness with a delightful cup of tea! Yet another excellent dessert spot in Paterson!

Today , stopped in for a Turkish tea and breakfast visit. Was disappointed to learn they don't make Kunafe Cheese on Sundays, nonetheless food was delish. Service was on point today. This time tried the mixed omelet and my fav eggs with sujuk. Tasty and flavorful! I love that the omelette was served with a side of salad and veggies.

I stopped by Saturday night for some dessert with a few friends after a long day at the pool. To start off the place itself is very nice and clean. The baklava looks amazing. They have a good assortment. The quality and taste were truly impeccable! The service could be better. It was my first time and I wish the lady at the counter was a bit more transparent about the procedure for ordering and the cost. We ended up getting a small box with about 6-7 pieces of baklava for about $22. It is on the pricer side but it is totally worth it in terms of taste and quality. I will definitely return!

Such good, crispy, cheesy konafa! The pistachio konafa comes filled with stretchy cheese with a perfectly crisped konafa exterior. The chef prepared everything in front of us and he was so friendly. Wait staff were also friendly and informative. Ambiance is perfection. So cozy and well decorated. I crave that konafa weekly! And I'm not even a dessert girl

Love their Turkish tea! Came here almost every day just for it when I was visiting my parents place. Chocolate baklava is also very good. Cute ambiance to meet up with friends!

I suspect that "Baklava Home" is an awkward translation of Baklava evi and that the aforementioned dessert shop may have been better served under the title "House of Baklava." And yet the warm feelings conveyed by the current name are not misplaced, and I would certainly recommend Baklava evi to anyone who is looking for a nice sweet treat and glass of çay after dinner in Paterson.

First there was Taskin Bakery (in Paterson NJ). Taskin taught us that we need not settle, we deserve a better Baklava. Then came Antepli 2 and Sultan Artisanal Bakery, both took the baklava game in NJ to another level, especially Antepli which hails from Gaziantep (Turkey), the home of Baklava, Pistachios, and extra ordinary cuisine. Designated as a City of Gastronomy by UNESCO in 2015, Gaziantep has a thousand Baklava joints. Even the mid 100 Baklava joints in Gaziantep are better than the top Baklava establishments anywhere else. After Antepli 2, it seemed that this was as good as it can get. But along came Baklava Home at 1022 Main Street in Paterson NJ. This is the new standard for premium Baklava. For the moment things cannot get any better.

From the moment you walk in til the time you leave, the hospitality is impeccable. The delightful mouthwatering baklava will have you wanting to taste every single one. It's the best I have ever had.... Freshly made and absolute total perfection!

I'd been dying to finally try their renowned Palestinian food. I came on a Friday night, and the restaurant was packed with families and large parties. They even offer valet parking--which tells you something about how popular this place is. And forget paying extra for bread. They start you off with a whole basket of 4-5 pieces of soft, house-made pita, along with pickled vegetables. The menu has both small plates (hot and cold mezze) and entrees, but we really wanted to sample as much as possible, so we went with the small plates. We ordered the fried cauliflower, fried cheese, lamb and beef sausage, and falafel. Everything was truly incredible, and the portions were very generous. The cauliflower was a little oily, but that's to be expected with fried cauliflower. It still had an amazing crunch, and they brought us complimentary toum and hummus for dipping, which was such a nice touch. The fried cheese was incredibly fresh and crispy with a light saltiness that made it hard to stop eating. But the falafel was the star for me--and probably the best I've ever had. Falafel usually isn't something I order first; I'm pretty take-it-or-leave-it about it. But these completely changed my mind. They're longer and more oblong than the usual round falafel, and the texture and flavor were fantastic. The lamb sausage was also really good. The only item that felt just okay compared with everything else was the beef sausage. On the drinks front, they don't have fountain drinks--only Boylan sodas. Sadly, no Diet Coke, but that was a very minor point. The service was amazing all night, and between the generous portions and all the different plates, we had plenty of leftovers to take home. They also have a smaller takeout location very close by if you can't get a reservation at the main restaurant. Overall: Al Basha absolutely lived up to the hype. Incredible Palestinian food, generous portions, warm service, and some seriously memorable falafel. Definitely worth the trip to Paterson.

We started with a few appetizers: the calamari, Yasmeen fries, and falafel. Everything was so fresh and delicious! We all ordered different entrees, and the portions were generous enough that we all ended up taking some home. The restaurant is BYOB, and we ordered mango and lemonade to mix together--such an amazing combination! The only downside for me was that I didn't realize they had hookah smoking. At times, the smoke was a little overwhelming. Definitely not a deal breaker, though. If I come back, I'll probably ask for a table farther toward the back and away from the hookah area. Overall, a really enjoyable experience with great food, beautiful ambiance, and generous portions. I'd definitely come back!

It's also a hooka joint and we assume very popular as when we arrived at 2:30 we were asked if we had a reservation in an empty restaurant with at least 80 plus seats. Staff was inattentive and served water in a plastic Poland Springs bottle, no ice no glass. My wife had the Kebab Khash Khash. Sounded great it was mediocre. The Kebab was served over a ragu sauce, literally tasted like bottled pizza sauce. The rice pilaf was uncle Ben's. Not jasmine or traditional basmati. The kebab was good but the complete dis was disappointing. I had the grilled salmon. Same rice and a little sliced onions. Salmon was very good. We felt like they accommodated us but needed us to get out before their regular customers showed up. Fine we were happy to drop $80 on two mediocre meals, a bottle of water and an unsweetened iced tea. Toros can be difficult to get in but it's a true Turkish restaurant with real Turkish cuisine and beverages served without asking like hot tea or pita and hummus. This joint didn't ask if we wanted coffee. We came here to beat the crowded Toros for a change. The place must be trendy as it is impeccably decorated. Back to Toros.
