Turkish cafe at Cliffside park, NJ A very cozy Turkish cafe which offers variety of baklava, cake, cookies jelly candies, Turkish coffee, tea. They also serve breakfast and lunch. We chose variety of baklavas to go and they were very tasty and not too sweet. My favorite was walnut baklava. I would love to come back and try their lunch menu and their coffee. The lady at the counter was very patient while choosing baklavas to go.

What an amazing cafe! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! This cafe is so cute inside (definitely instagrammable) and the sweets and drinks were absolutely authentic and delicious! I tried Turkish Tea for the first time; I don't drink coffee so I'm glad they have the tea option! It was slightly bitter and strong but paired sooo well with the turkish delight and baklava that I bought! I highly recommend the turkish delight - the pomegranate one was so so good and not too sweet! The blackberry and pistachio baklava was unique and delicious as well! (Baklava is a bit too sweet for my taste which is why I recommend the turkish delight but both tasted phenomenal!) I want to buy lots and lots of these sweets but they aren't cheap Regardless, I will be coming back for more!

My boyfriend traveled to turkey and came back with a love for the culture and food. We ordered the cheese platter, Turkish tea and the Turkish bagel. Delicious and the perfect way to start our morning.

WoW... This hidden gem packs a mean punch! A Turkish specialty in sweets and delights, this place will rock your socks off! The pictures don't do it justice as you will need to make a visit to see for yourself. They specialize in sweets and Turkish coffee/tea. The sweets taste fresh, and were not firm or old at all. Came back within 2 days and noticed they replenished the items I ordered, and the taste was just as good. If you are looking to lounge and enjoy some conversation over tea or coffee this place offers indoor seating and sidewalk seating. The indoor seating has quite the setup with colorful furniture. Open for the most part of the day with street parking.

Cozy, warm, and inviting atmosphere. I came here from Long Island to meet with someone special who I hadn't seen in months, and it was the perfect place for us to catch up and talk and laugh together over a cup of Turkish coffee (with a complimentary Turkish delight in the side). The woman who served us was so sweet and welcoming. If I lived closer I'd come here all the time!

We love this cafe! The pastries are authentic and delicious, the owner is such a sweetheart! The ambience is calm and makes you feel like you stepped out of NJ and went straight into Turkey

Very cozy bakery with delicious treats that will make you want to come right back. The Turkish coffee was a small but powerful hit. The treats were all so tasty. I had the pistachio kadayif which was absolutely decadent. This treat was buttery, sweet and crispy. I really wanted to try every thing but one can only eat so much. The service was great and the environment is very relaxed. Will be back soon.

Surprised to find baklava of this quality in the U.S. To be honest, the flavors here were indistinguishable to me from those at the celebrated Karakoy Gulluoglu in Istanbul. In particular, the chocolate baklava was probably the best I've ever had!

I can't enough of this place! From the pastries to the Turkish coffee, it is all a delight! Their baklava is one of the best that I have ever tasted and everything is freshly hand made. Service is great and the ambiance of the cafe is absolutely beautiful! One of my frequent spots to visit!

Pistachio baklava on the left (~$2), walnut baklava on the right (~$2), and a mini chocolate pistachio cake ($6)

I was excited to try out a couple different baklavas including the double pistachio one. Unfortunately because it was late at night (8PM-ish), I think the variety of pastries was dwindling down. If I were to come back, I think I would come much earlier in the day. But I'm still pleasantly surprised that this bakery is open until 10PM. Both the baklava's I got were really good (the walnut and pistachio one). They're very sweet, but in small bites, they fill that after-dinner dessert craving. The chocolate pistachio cake was also amazing because it was not that sweet. The inside was less cake and more mousse, which I don't prefer, but I really enjoyed the interspersed chocolate-covered pistachio nuts inside. I felt weird about dining in because there was no music and no other customers, so we took our pastries to go. The woman at the register was nice & kind. Keep in mind there is a $10 card minimum!

We figured while we were grabbing the gift card we just had to try a cookie too. When we arrived, there's a couple steps you go down to get into the store. We went in about 10am on a Saturday, and there was about two people ahead of us. We were helped within minutes, and I ordered the Two Chip Chocolate Chip Cookie, while my partner got the Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie. I believe each cookie ran a little more than $5/cookie. We threw the cookies in my backpack, got lost going to Trader Joes, and then went back to the hotel (a 40 minute journey) and to our surprise - the cookies were still warm even though it was raining outside! My partner and I demolished those cookies within seconds. They were warm, slightly crispy on the edges, so many chocolate chips inside and chewy in the middle. If I could describe the perfect cookie this would be it. I imagine this would be delightful with a cold glass of milk. I also noticed several people at JFK with Levain bags, so I'm guessing it's common to stock up and bring home. Now, I'm trying to convince my partner to go to the location in Beverly Hills when we're in the area.

This is end of day food, or prior day's left-over food from stores and restaurants. The items were supposed to be a value of $15, but the items in the bag were not that value, nor were they in-house baked goods. They gave me 2 stale cut up baguettes, which they normally don't even sell, nor are they on their menu. According to the counter staff person, they order them from somewhere else so they can sell them on the weekends. (So they were baked Friday?) The counter staff person said her boss packed the TGTG bag and there was nothing she could do. I question these baguettes: which kitchen were they cooked in? Someone's home kitchen? I've never seen baguettes sold or baked in Reb's store, only desserts. In fact, this is what Barachou advertises: "Handcrafted choux à la crème, tarts, and viennoiseries -- all made fresh daily." Anyway, what I got were 2 stale baguettes which were cut in half so as to fit in the bag and one croissant (that's fine). The baguettes are inedible, and they can't be price verified because they are not even on their menu. If they're going to advertise on TGTG, then they need to honor the intent of the app, and provide the stated value of yesterday's leftover OR extra dessert items. This was bait and switch. Bait & switch means you advertise one deal (ie "$15 value") but replace it with a much cheaper deal. TGTG customers know they are getting day old or end of day items, valued as such. But they should not be shortchanged and given $5-$8 values that are advertised as $15 or $18. The bag should have had something like a cookie and 2 almond croissants or 3 specialized croissants. Even more disappointing as I have shopped here often especially when she was first starting out during the pandemic. Sorry Reb, but you lost me as a loyal customer. ***editing to respond to owner: I've never had a TGTG restaurant regift another restaurant's goods yet claim they are baked fresh in store. I've also never gotten baguettes that are already cut up for me. Do they do it that way in France? Also does Bread's bakery know that you probably buy their baguettes three for $5 special and then probably resell them at your store? Or do they deliver direct to you as one of their vendors? Just curious.

Okay I was cracking up about my experience here because I literally asked the dumbest question to…read morethe guy working but he was so nice and explained the answer to me until I understood! So fun fact they are now advertising Banana Pudding Hot Chocolate and it is NOT actual hot chocolate but banana pudding made to taste like hot chocolate. Why I got so confused? I don't know! Maybe I have been watching too many videos about Tyra Banks Hot Ice Cream. Either way I appreciate the guys patience and kindness when explaining it to me twice especially because I did not end up ordering that at all (though it sounds interesting) but I did get the regular actual hot chocolate and it was amazing! It tasted like melted marshmallows were in it! Perfect for a cold winter day. In addition we got to the humming bird cake, a cupcake, and the regular banana pudding. My husband had never been here before so you know we had to get the banana pudding, it's their claim to fame. And it is decent. Growing up in North Carolina banana pudding is taken very seriously and is literally at every gathering. Would this be a contender for the cookout? Sure! I have no complaints about. The other baked items were delicious as well. The store is cute unfortunately this location has no indoor seating but plenty of outdoor. It was like negative degrees when we went so we definitely did not sit outside. All and all it's a cute bakery/ sweets shop. There are many locations through out the city. Another employee, Kirk--an older gentleman who looked completely out of place--approached and coughed directly over the slice of cake that had just been cut for me. Yes. Over it. At that moment, I honestly wondered if it was intentional. A young woman nearby immediately caught my reaction and went to the back to replace the slice. She handled the situation professionally and deserves recognition. Unfortunately, the chaos continued. Kirk later made me a hot cocoa, and when I went to drink it, it spilled on me because the lid wasn't secured properly. At that point, I stopped believing in coincidences. And the cake? The German chocolate cake was terrible--dry AF and nothing like the Grand Central location. Not even remotely close. Between the coughing, the spill, and the subpar cake, this visit was uncomfortable, messy, and disappointing. Magnolia should seriously reconsider who they put on the floor and retrain accordingly--because this location is not living up to the brand. But honestly, I believe the 2 guys had to be the owners.
