I hadn't had my eyebrows done in a couple months and unfortunately the girl I usually see was on vacation and I desperately needed to have my eyebrows done but I'm terrified to go to someone new so I went on yelp and found Bala. When I went to the salon I specifically asked for her based on the reviews. She was very kind and gentle. It hurt a lot less than what I'm used to at the other threading place I go to. I live pretty far away and come here when I'm visiting friends in the city. I look forward to the work Balbir does for weeks leading up. The last time I went in I was greeted by two new people and before I could ask for Balbir I was ushered into my seat. I did not like my results, my eyebrows didn't match like they usually do leaving here, my upper lip is much more irritated and still had hair, and she didn't even offer aloe because she was rushing to help the next person. I love this place and loved my ability to walk in and leave with great eyebrows but now I'm going to have to call ahead of time to make sure, so you might want to as well. read more

Came in here for the first time Monday February 21st 2022 I was so happy that they offered Eyebrow Henna because I don't do needles and so my eyebrows received some much needed attention. I was happy with my services on Monday, however by Wednesday February 23 my left eyebrow point started to fade. I didn't expect that 2 days later and even though $40 is not a lot of money, the henna timt should last longer. So I called Bala asked if she could touch it up, she said yes! Bala is my new brow spot. I run late every time and call at 7pm she will wait for me! My brows were thin and too far in. She has allowed them to grow in and thicken. Balbir is the greatest! I wish I took photos but she always does exactly what I need - a nice shapely brow clean-up. She is quick but also mindful of her clients' comfort level. I was in need of getting my eyebrows done and everywhere I went was either too busy or closed. I drive by Bala and saw they were opened so I went in to inquire. Upon my entering I was warmly greeted by the staff. I was able to get my eyebrows threaded and my upper lip and chin. I absolutely love getting my eyebrows threaded here! Bala makes them the perfect shape and size every time. Not only that, my brows somehow look fuller after I leave. I've had my eyebrows waxed / threaded at numerous places, including many European Wax Centers and Wax Bare, but never have they looked as beautiful as they do after Bala threads them. Also, Bala is seriously such a sweetheart! She did my 11 year old daughter's eyebrows for the first time and was so patient w her. On a side note, I am heavily considering getting my eyebrows micro-bladed by Bala. Her Instagram before and afters are flawless. Walked in on a Friday morning to get my eyebrows done. As soon as I got through the door I was warmly greeted by a lady and she somehow already knew I wanted my eyebrows threaded(maybe because they were looking extra bushy hahahah). This was my first time. She told me to sit in the chair and lean back. She asked me my name and I told her my co worker came to her in the past to get her brows done and I thought they looked nice and wanted to try the threading thing. The process was really fast. It took just under 10 minutes or so. As for the pain, it felt like some mild pinching but didn't hurt any more than an eyebrow waxing. I am very happy with the outcome of my eyebrows, the price and the cleanliness of the shop! Eyebrow threading seems much more sanitary than waxing as well. I will be back and I highly recommend this shop! Although I have nothing to compare it to, other than the traditional wax thing. My mind is at ease knowing a stick isn't being dipped in a community pot of wax and then put on my face! read more
