The parfaits and snack boxes were highlights and some of my favorite items. That said, I found many of the entrees to be somewhat bland, and the menu seemed heavily focused on pasta dishes, which limited the variety. I also noticed that many meals were higher in carbohydrates and sodium than I personally prefer. The buffalo chicken, in particular, felt very basic and wasn't much different from something I could easily make at home. Overall, Balanced Foods is a solid option if you're looking for quick, filling meals and convenience. However, I would have liked to see more variety, bolder flavors, and a little more creativity in the menu. read more

Most definitely a solid four stars. This is my first time visiting the location. It reminds me a lot of my fit foods. The layout, the glass doors, even all of the juices and everything else that they sell. I'm wondering if Mario has anything to do with balance foods. It's very nice to have a food prep Company back in the area. After we lost my fit foods, we really didn't have this type of business anymore. I like the business model, it's good for professionals who don't have time to cook. Much better than hiring a professional chef. The food is pretty good, the prices are great, and the customer service is quite good as well. They have quite a selection when it comes to food. They have breakfast lunch and dinner. They have a variety of meals for you to choose from - healthy meals at that. They also started doing kids meals and snacks which is awesome!! Great for busy parents who want a one stop shop. Disorganized. They cancelled my consultation appointment twice both with late notice. A consultant was pulled to help with electrical issues?!!! What???!!! I drove by this place a few weeks ago and noticed it for the first time. I was THRILLED when I went in to discover that it had a lot of the same stuff as the now defunct My Fit Foods. I asked the cashier and she said that the owner of Balanced Foods used to work for My Fit Foods. I think Balanced Foods' meals are better. My husband and I tried BF from a friends recommendation. We absolutely love the variety and ability to grab and go when needed, or place an order online and literally pick up the next day! To us, that is a HUGE plus for our lifestyles. Also, another HUGE plus is the ability to scan the barcode on the container and it instantly syncs to my fitness pal and tracks macros! We love that we are also able to read the labels online or in store to make sure the meals we choose meet our macro needs. read more

This company is extremely misleading. They claim the food is fresh, but all of the meat is purchased frozen and is far from fresh. Their pancakes are just a popular grocery store pancake mix company, and they pass them off as their own, and they aren't protein pancakes as they claim. Often times the food spoils and goes bad days before the expiration date, but they sell it anyway. Customer service is absolutely sub par. At the store we went to in in the webster clear lake area, the girl barely acknowledged us, but rather was paying attention to her cell Phone the entire time. She never spoke sword to us without us asking her a question, and she didn't know the answer to ANYTHING. When we got home we weighed all of our meals, and the weighed significantly less than what the nutrition label said they did. One of our meals had over 400 percent daily value of cholesterol, which is downright DANGEROUS. No person should eat that cholesterol in one day, let alone in one meal. The sodium levels were extremely high. Several meals have added sugar when the label says they don't. And almost every meal has butter and oil in it. Very few meals come with vegetables of any sort. And they say their food is healthy. What an absolute joke this place is. If you're looking for food that's ACTUALLY healthy and good for you, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! read more

They don't wear masks inside for whatever reason. Three separate buying experiences so far and no one ever wearing a mask inside. I guess they feel they are exempt from everything happening right now... tried contacting the owner via Facebook messenger prior to posting this and never got a response so it seems they don't care either. If you don't care about COVID/mask wearing, go for it I guess. But I care. So they get one star and lose my business. read more
