In the stone massage, they literally only massage you with the rocks. No hands. So it wasn't really as relaxing as we had hoped. However I do not think this is a reflection on the quality of their business at all. Just a personal preference. Both massage therapists were super friendly and professional and the other staff is always so nice as well. Both my wife and I will 100% be back to try out more of their services

I started in the steamroom to get into relaxation mode. Then Olivia came to get me and she was the 'strong hands' i requested and then some. She found every knot in places i didnt know i had them and never let up - which is what i asked for. She beat me up in the best way (iykyk) while responding to feedback when the knots were too tender to handle it. This type of trigger ppint is what you want when you've got tension that wont quit. Krystal was kind and communicative prior to the message and I asked for medium pressure and it was perfect. I had booked the basic pedicure for 30 minutes after my massage for a buffer but they asked if I wanted it back to back and I did and they made sure it was ok if I was a minute or two late because of getting dressed which was wonderful. I even asked if I could last minute upgrade to the next level pedicure to have a full hour and they were happy to accommodate that as well. My pedicure with Janessa was fantastic as well! She was so nice and happy to chat with me during my service. She did such a beautiful job. They use liners in the tubs and have great chairs. I liked that that infrared sauna is actually in the treatment room, so you can go straight from it to the table. Overall, a nice place to warm up and get a facial. To the owner, I would just request slightly longer blankets, I run cold constantly and having my bare feet out and without a heated table took some getting used to.

My husband had Heather and he said she was great too! The massage beds at Kura Door got a big upgrade years ago to medical beds so you can get maneuvered into positions that are more optimal to get certain muscles. Ugh! I can't love this place enough. It's peaceful from the minute you walk in. You're escorted to take your shoes off and shown the dressing room to change into your robe. The women's locker room was a little dirty and unkept. I had to ask one of the girls to dump the trash because it was overflowing! I used to work in homeless services and there is a concept called "meeting people where they are at" rather than where they should be. I feel like Jun met my body where it was at, and not where it should be. In other words she was adaptable, intuitive, and really got into the core problem areas. When I got home, my wife commented that my posture was better. I usually don't get such good improvement with only one session. She was also super friendly and had great energy to be around.
