The entrance line looked intimidating at first, but it was well organized and moved surprisingly fast. Food and drinks lines were on the longer sides, but with so many vendors and options, so it didn't feel so painful. Great atmosphere all around, I would definitely come back, may be next time for a baseball game!

We had a chance to visit Petco part two times within three or four days. It was really nice because…read morethey keep the part very clean and there were also many fans. When we came on one night. It was the first night of Star Wars Weekend. They hired people wearing costumes as Star Wars characters to walk around the park. It was cool because when we first walked in, there was a whole cast of Mandalorian characters available for a photo opportunity, immediately when you enter the park. Throughout the park, there were Star Wars characters and it was really cool. A problem that I had was that because this was the first night of Star Wars Weekend at Petco Park, but...they didn't do any announcements nor any cool graphics, movie clips, character mentions, etc. on the Jumbotron nor the scoreboard for Star Wars night. It was disappointing because the next day on the news and on social media, we saw that they actually did do something on the scoreboard and Jumbotron for the second night of Star Wars Wekeend. I feel like maybe they were just a little unprepared. Still, having the cast of characters walk around Petco Park the first night, was still cool. On our second visit, we sit in the nosebleeds (Section 305 over Padres Dugout) because we were attending with an organization. Even though it was scary to go up into that steep area, it was such a nice experience as we met some Phillies fans from Australia, who sat next to us. Overall, the vibe and feel up there was fun and very cool. We never really buy the food here anymore because it doesn't taste the same as if you buy it outside of the park, but it is great that they have different options for food. Also, it's very expensive and, for our family, we just can't afford it all the time. We opt to pickup food and bring it in to eat in our seats or at an eating area in the park. This works for our family. The problem that we had on the first night that we attended, was that there was a woman who was not supposed to be sitting behind us. She just popped into the seat with her boyfriend for about three innings, and she was so drunk that she spilled her margarita on the back of my husband's shirt and hat, as well as on the back of my bottom side. I was so so upset, because there were kids and families around, and she was so faded drunk. This was so disappointing. I feel like they never check if people are supposed to be in the right seat, and people can just sort of walk around and sit wherever they want. We pay good money for our seats. This lady was so loud, rowdy, and drunk and there were so many kids and families in our section. It was just really rough having a drunk woman riled up and acting crazy. She did apologize to us (profusely because she was so drunk), and finally her boyfriend took her away. The Padres ended up winning and it made the night a lot better. Overall, just be careful when you find that there's a drunk person sitting in your area because they can totally mess up the whole experience.

Rumor is that this section is easy to snag a good deal because it appears to an expensive ticket, but it's actually a pretty good value with everything that's included, especially compared to what season ticket holders actually paid. The view is great as you are situated on the suite level along the third base line, although you cannot see the main Jumbotron. There are still other screens to look at and they had TVs with the broadcast on. Seating is varied in type. I was at a high top table, which was comfortable. Other chairs were standard stadium chairs but with extra padding, while the high end seating were nice looking oversized chairs situated with clear glass in front of them. The menu apparently rotates, but on my night there they served foot long hotdogs, fully loaded mini hotdogs, a nacho bar, pretzel bites with cheese and mustard dipping sauces, cookies, chicken caesar wraps, and salads. There were also areas with grab and go chips, Cracker Jack, boxes of popcorn, and other goodies. All non-alcoholic drinks are free, and you can buy alcohol at a dedicated bar in the club. There were also three dedicated bathrooms that are gender-neutral, but there was still a line between innings. Overall this was a great experience and I felt like a good value for the price I paid. If the suites are first class, then this is just a step below--call it premium economy. Give it a shot!

The performance was wonderful and the voices of the cast were absolutely beautiful. The theater itself is large and you can see very well. I'm not very tall and even though people were seated in front of me I had a perfect view of the stage. The seats are comfortable and the ushers are very helpful. I believe there are concession stands on every floor as well as bars where you can get soft drinks or alcoholic beverages. The concessions are quite expensive but you expect that when you're at a theater of any kind. Very easy to find parking in the area. There is a large parking structure right next to the Civic Center as well as different parking lots where you can easily just park and walk across the street to the theater. The only rule that I have seen is that you do not bring in a bag that is larger than 12 in by 12 in. You go through a back check and walk through a metal detector but that's pretty common for any type of concert as well. Inside is very comfortable and I always enjoy coming here for a performance.

This being downtown San Diego of course you need to plan ahead for parking, but there are plenty of Lots nearby and walking distance, one of them that leads right into the parking lot of the theater. One of the positive aspects of being downtown is that you have plenty of options for dinner before or after the show. Of course you may want to make reservations ahead. They always offer concessions, of different alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as little charcuterie board type items, and candy, Etc. Of course just like any other venue of this type, it is priced above what you would normally pay for those items. I always try to sit in the orchestra section because I feel there is more leg room, and I hate to feel cramped. The seats also seem a bit more comfortable in that section. I will say I honestly don't think you could have a bad seat in this theater though. The sound is usually fine, but I will say for Moulin Rouge I had trouble hearing what they were saying especially during the songs. I love that everyone is always so helpful when trying to find your seat, they will walk you to your section and show you exactly where you need to go, which is nice because it can get chaotic with so many people ushering in. Overall this is a great location and the shows they have are amazing. Definitely reccomend looking at the season and seeing what they have to offer, they're is usually something for everyone

There are two levels and plenty to explore on each level. There are nooks and crannies here and there with games you might miss if you don't turn this or that corner. At this time, it's $25 per person (before taxes) and you get unlimited games. There are plenty of video games and pinball machines, too. There is air hockey and skee-ball and many other types of games. Most of them were in working condition but a few were not. The games should obviously be in working condition before the place opens but hey, quality control isn't always what it should be. They offer snacky foods and booze, of course, but I didn't try anything. The decor is very cool. It is kind of psychedelic and fun. This is right by the ballpark and parking is tough to find. We parked a few blocks away on the street (metered parking). There really are very few places in San Diego to play video games and pinball so it's nice to have a place like this available. We spent about 3 plus hours here and the time just flew by. If we didn't have other plans, we would have stayed longer. Unfortunately, there are no in-and-out privileges, so keep that in mind.
