The little house with the green roof is a slide for the little ones (8 and under).

After you pay, you get a wrist band. Green if you're 48" and over and red if you're under 48". Pros: 1. You can bring your own food. 2. They sells affordable snacks and ice cream. 3. They offer lounge chairs and shade around the pool. 4. You can come in and out. 5. Lots of lifeguards. 6. Three types of slides, one tiny slide for the little ones, one long slide for the family, and one twirly slide for the big kids. 7. Large pavilion with tables and chairs 8. Large parking lot Cons: 1. Wish it was bigger. The pool seems small when it's crowded. 2. The "lazy river" isn't really a lazy river. 3. There is no deep end. The maximum depth is 3ft and 8". You can't jump off the waterfall. 4. The family bathroom's floor gets a bit flooded, the regular bathrooms are cleaner and better to be in. 5. The mini splash pad isn't interesting. Overall, I would recommend this pool. To avoid the crowds, I would get there when opens.

I love taking my kids here and they love going. There are two slides, a small rapids-like area, a beachy shallow area for the little guys, and lots of fun in between. We are residents so it only cost $6 for me and my two children to go. I think it costs a little bit more for non-residents but not much. Not too bad for an afternoon's fun.

Geared for younger than 12 group. Not deep enough for my teenagers and no room for laps. Great for little ones though.

There's also a pretty cool slide and one of those "walk on floats across the water" things. My kids stayed for almost 2 hours and the only reason we left then is because they were starting to turn red from their sunscreen wearing off. The lifeguards were also great. We have gotten so used to overbearing lifeguards this summer who blow their whistles and yell nonstop and this was a nice change of pace. They were very patient with everyone, using normal speaking voices and only using whistles if someone was doing something dangerous. It made for a very relaxing and fun experience. The entry for kids is about standard ($3 each) and a bit higher than usual for adults ($6 each) but one of the benefits of this is that the place wasn't very crowded so we were able to have a good time without feeling cramped. We'll definitely be coming back again, kids and adults had a great time.

He managed to maximize our space (odd shaped back yard) giving us what we wanted: A large pool with a substantial play area and a long lap lane for exercise purposes. Most importantly, he made sure that we had solid engineering construction for our pool size (about 33K gallons, ~170 linear feet), strongly recommending a double mat rebar construction with 12 inch walls. Nobody else even mentioned that. When I asked other pool builders, I was told "not to worry about it". Well, I'd rather spend the extra money up front than dealing with a cracked pool shell later. He even commissioned an engineering survey to confirm before breaking ground. The equipment is top notch. Pool pump and heater are working beautifully giving us the clearest water we've ever seen in a pool while maintaining the temp at 80 degrees when needed. We were guided expertly through the materials process and features (plastering, tile, travertine, water features, autofill) to achieve the end result we wanted. He also recommended a great pool maintenance company that takes care of all our ongoing needs. He was responsive throughout and supervised the pool building from start to finish. He made sure everything was done to our satisfaction down to the smallest detail.

For myself and my fiance, the price was excellent- ~80$ a month for both of us. Today I had limited time to workout, so I went to the gym intending to use the Egym. A full circuit takes about 24 minutes, and is a decent workout. I wanted to do 8-12 reps at 80% max for a quick workout, but the machine was locked to a specific program, and I could not change the workout from the app before I started the timed loop. I asked for help from the nearby YMCA personal trainer, and specifically asked if I could change my workout settings to the above mentioned settings. He seemed annoyed that I was asking questions at all, and asked if I had done the setup sessions. I told him yes, but my account was still not letting me change my workout session. I then asked again if I could set my own program to do ~10 reps @80%. He seemed annoyed, told me that the programs were not configurable, and left with the machine on the workout selection screen. I switched to a workout program that was closer to what I wanted and did my workout in that first machine. Since the EGYM is a loop, I looked to my right and saw someone just sitting down and logging in. Im not sure how this happened, as it is supposed to be a timed loop- but the new guy had a 2 minute timer on the screen. At this point I was frustrated by the lack of help and the fact that i was going to have to sit there for 2 more minutes after wasting some 10 minutes with the staff member. I got up, cursed under my breath and started walking towards the free machines as I could set them manually and get my workout done. The staff member who had previously been annoyed with me got in my face and threatened to have me ejected for cursing a single time when no children were present. After his previous attitude for me asking him sinple questions about the EGYM machines, this seemed quite out of place. Certainly I should not have cursed out loud- but this guy getting in my face was completely unprofessional as well. I have canceled my membership and will not be coming back. I can not recommend this location as a gym unless you never need a staff member to help you.

Swimming lessons were through the Rec Center schedule. If you or any family members are thinking of doing swimming lessons, I highly recommend taking the courses as they take place here. The instructors were friendly with all ages and took such great time and patience especially with the preschoolers. There are two pools at the Lake Creek Pool. One large one...I'm not quite sure the depth but there is also a kiddie pool off to the side which has a cover over it from the sun..which was maybe a little over a foot in depth. Off to the side there are a handful of picnic type tables and several lounge chairs off to the side. There is a huge tent over the picnic tables but other than that, there is no shade. For just playing in the water and to swim, this place isn't too bad if you aren't looking for water slides or anything. Just a place to swim, hang out and cool off.

You can bring in your own food and drinks (no alcohol-boo!) which is great since they don't have food items or snacks for sale. It's only $2 to get in which seems like a steal for any activity whatsoever these days, being that everything ever to do is hella expensive. This pool is nothing exciting. It's great for swimming and has a nice big deep end of diving without the board. It also has a nice shaded kiddie pool for my little one. There's no trees or grass to relax in if you're looking for that. The bathrooms are usually pretty gross. Fortunately, I don't have to use them often. The men's bathroom/changing room is attached to the lifeguard office area. The guards have nowhere to sit out of the sun when they aren't watching swimmers so they sit in the entrance to the men's room. They have to move their legs out of the way so you can go into the bathroom, and they are just inches from being in the changing room area. So you walk past a female guard, take a left a foot later and there is your bench to change clothes. The faucet they use to hose off the pool area is located inside the men's room so the female guards walk into the men's room to turn it off and on. They also store garbage bins, swimming noodles, and the emergency board in the men's room which the females must get it they need them. The urinals are right there as well. Last year as I was changing, I was walked in on 3 times by female guards. I know it's not the guards fault, they certainly don't want to walk in on old people like me, it's the extremely poor design of the place. Who thought this was a good idea? Perhaps they could install an inexpensive visual barrier you would have to walk through to see into the changing area and urinal location?
